Today I learned that I could be a proper businessman and cut deals with people in my life that makes them fair to both parties, or unfair to the other depending on how much I care for them. I also learned that my friend has finally gotten her GoFundMe account up and running, and would love some help with it if anyone is interested. You don't have to donate, but sharing the link would be helpful. PM me if you are interested.

Yeah, it's a real messed up situation for her, but I have a feeling things will work out right.

To make a long story shorter, I will just tell you the basics. Friend got married, had one kid with an abusive d-bag who she divorced a few months later. Guy got custody of kids, refused to follow the visitation rules, and has since had several abuse/neglect/endangerment charges against him. Courts ruled that my friend can get her son back, but has a limited time to do so. Family friend of her's agreed to take her second kid when she became deathly sick and had to live with her mom and step-dad. Step-dad was molesting her, she feared CPS would take her kid away, so she asked the friend to look after him until she got better. Lady grew too attached, kidnapped her son, took him over state lines and filed for custody, lying about everything to do so. Courts found out the truth and have slowly been working to get her second son back to her, but the "friend" is finicky and is filing to adopt her son, despite the case against her. She actually had my friend charged with kidnapping after their lawyers told the "friend" to return the child. And since I am a third party, it is frowned upon if I show up with a baseball bat and just reclaim my friend's kid for her and her wife. Yes, she remarried, she is bi, and her wife is a US Marine who has served for several years. They live in Texas, and the two boys are in Ohio and Indiana. They need a total of $8,000: $1,400 for the lawyers per child, $2,000 for the courts and legal fees, and the rest to travel to get their children and return home. And that is the short version. I will post her GFM once she has it set up in case anyone feels sorry enough to help her out. Also, tfw you finally have time to work on something important, but your brain refuses to cooperate.

TFW your best friend for 10 years starts a GoFundMe account to get her kids back that were essentially stolen from her a few years back, and you're too broke to help out.
-
Chris Patt, hands down. I loved him in GotG, and I can't wait to see Jurassic World, simply because it has him in it.

TFW you are tired, but have too much to do to sleep, and still have to go to work in less than 12 hours.

WHY I HATE SNEEZING (A gripe/pet peeves thread)
AlexanderGraves replied to Ghost's topic in General Discussion
What about people who you text-speak/leet-speak when they are fully capable for posting/saying the write words? -
Cara slams my car doors, too. Also, that feel when your body and mind are tired, but not to the point where you can fall asleep. First world problems.

WHY I HATE SNEEZING (A gripe/pet peeves thread)

They know that doesn't work unless it's a software issue. -
That feeling when hunger joins caffeine-induced psychosis and sleep deprivation.

WHY I HATE SNEEZING (A gripe/pet peeves thread)
AlexanderGraves replied to Ghost's topic in General Discussion
Another pet peeve of mine is when people call me about a computer problem while I try to sleep. More than once I have had to remind myself that murder was against my ethics. -

That feeling when the coffee you drank an hour ago finally kicks in when you were just getting tired. I always get weird when I am on a caffeine binge.

Love this song.

WHY I HATE SNEEZING (A gripe/pet peeves thread)
AlexanderGraves replied to Ghost's topic in General Discussion
I can't stand it when people bug me while I am working on my book. Cara has learned that the hard way. Also, I have this thing about people watching me eat. I can't stand it, so I avoid eating in public too much. -
Today I learned that having more than two cups of coffee makes me far more hypersensitive to light than noise.
-
I battled competitively once, when Black and White came out. I used to do it in the morning, but now I am more of a Nuzlocke person.
-
Love the background to this song.

It's easier to hurt someone online without realizing it, simply because text alone cannot convey the tone and intent of the words, unless those words are truly meant to be hurtful.
-
Tfw you spend all night working on a book, and everyone expects you to be able to function as if you did nothing all night.

I learned that I actually look cute despite the family curse. I just pulled my hair into a ponytail, and then pushed my hair from left to right.

So what's the name of your childhood 'stuffed animal'?
AlexanderGraves replied to star-kin's topic in General Discussion
Um, let's see... Bunny - Bunbun Tiger - Tiggy Bear - Winnie Skunk - Stinkers Cat - Boots I had like, a gazillion stuffed animals growing up. In fact, I had most of them until I turned 16, and then I gave them to my mom for safe keeping. -
My boss tells me I am a stereotypical gay guy all the time. I don't care for any sport besides soccer(England and Germany!), I am very finicky about messes, I try to be prim and proper all the time, I gossip and backstab a lot(although when its coworkers, its my job), I don't like to eat fatty foods and will even make a crude joke or two about guys, I will talk to my coworkers about my boyfriend and any cute guy, and I can be very annoying. The thing is, I am not a stereotype, because there is more to a person than just what one person sees. I've had friends who were your typical high school drop outs, yet they amazed me every day with some fantastic new creation or game. Even I tend to surprise people with some of the stuff I do, like writing and coding. It's not stereotypical for a gay person to be a fantasy writer or to be able to program software, and yet I do.

Gay People 101: Attraction To The Opposite Sex
AlexanderGraves replied to Kyoyoyoyoyoyoyo's topic in General Discussion
I am right there with you Kyo. I am gay, and yet I will not deny the fact that some women are cute/pretty. Having played straight for so long, I can even be aroused by some of them, but in the end, I prefer men. I'm just more attracted to men than women, and I identify as gay and not bi because I have only loved men. Every girl I ever dated was just there to keep my secret, and in the end several of them put two and two together when I didn't make a move on them. There is nothing wrong with finding someone beautiful or attractive, because your sexuality isn't just about what you find pleasing to the eye. It's also about where your heart lies.
