  1. I think it would be more fun to have 1 legend the entire game. Like start with Zekrohm and thats all you get to use the whole game, other than HM slaves.
  2. I would also replace Flamethrower or Heat Wave for Fire Fang from the Move Relearner. Flare Blitz would be best here, but that's through breeding only. Flamethrower and heat Wave are both spacial fire attacks, which makes it pointless to have both.
  3. You don't get the shiny charm from Eclipse's room, if you go back to Calceon and talk to Eclipse's father (you also meet Aster there). You also don't get to fight Aster for the Waterfall HM. There may also be certain reprocussions in future episodes that are not apparent now. For reference, you need to exit the building, and you'll meet Cal. Then you go back in the building and you can interact with stuff to find the code to open the door.
  4. I love Helldoom and Trollbro. Diancie is rather colorful too. Super happy to hear you're feeling better Ame =D
  5. Update #23 Making another quick update as I doubt I'll have another one anytime soon. So once Charlotte was gone, I headed back to civilization..or what passed for it in Agate Circus. Anyways, renamed Blastoise to Heartbreak, and grabbed my new G5, Frostburn the Vanilluxe. I got it EV trained in HP and Sp.A and Speed, with Weak Armour for that 1 turn 50% def and speed boost Etesian suggested to me for my 2nd run team. Once that was taken care of, it was back into Ametrine Mountain to get to that PULSE Avalugg. Dropped Aqua Tail on Blastoise for it (and I plan to swap Waterfall and Dive in that slot assuming I still have it). Into the Rabbit Hole we go. Or Water Hole. Or PULSE Avalugg Hole, but that just sounds...creepy. Not going to lie, this was a lot harder than my previous attempts. On my first run it was Belly Drum Hariyama, on my second run it was D-Bond Gardevoir. This time, well you'll see in a moment. PestilenceJr vs P.Avalugg - Why go with a Grass type vs Ice? Well, my original plan was to Force Palm it, but that did such horrible damage I was forced to abandon that route. What it can do is Leech Seed, and that was my ticket through the fight. PestilenceJr goes down to Freeze Dry. Crime vs P.Avalugg - Went with Stone Edge, but it became an Ice move (dammit) and was not very effective. Sturdy survived the Flash Cannon. Went with Sucker Punch, got a momentum boost from the field (#whut), and died to Freeze Dry. Wreckage vs P.Avalugg - I thought I had this in the bag. I went with Cross Chop, knocked it into the yellow, and survived a Bulldoze. Then somehow the PULSE knew how to use a Full Restore (#doublewhut) so my next Cross Chop only did trinket damage. Leech Seed was still going well though, but not well enough to survive a Freeze Dry next turn. When Wreckages went down, P.Avalugg was just above 50%. Heartbreak vs P.Avalugg - Some of you may have wondered why Blastoise had Protect. Well, this was the ultimate plan, inspired by Etesian's Gourgiest strategy. I open with Protect, blocking P.Avalugg's Bulldoze, and siphoning life off it with Leech Seed. Next turn is Dive, buying me another turn, and escaping a Freeze Dry! Phew. Blastoise emerges next turn, doing chip damage, and survives a Flash Cannon. One Protect later P.Avalugg goes down to leech damage. Look how healthy Heartbreak is. He's all ready for another round of this trolling. Off to Ametrine City to save the pink-haired pixie from the blue-haired asshat.
  6. If it's the developer, he's been broken since I met him in Onyx Ward. Every time I try to fight him, my game crashes. I have since given up talking to him. Also, it you use 4 aftermath Trubbish on Techie Jonathan, you can beat him that way. You'll probably blow well past the 20 lv cap though.
  7. Why is Glalie holding an Ultra Ball? That makes absolutely no sense. Clawizer's IVs are nice, but I like Galvantula's more.
  8. Update #23 Now that Penthus has gotten the Fury Badge, it's time to head back to the Chateau and catch me some waves. Surf, ya know? But when I get there, Titania is writing in her diary, and I am force to gaze upon the secrets within and create the start of E15 (even though this is The start of E12 or 13). Well, shame. Guess I need Waterfall too. Back to The start of Route 2 and take the shortcut to the giant ice block (hop those northern Crustles). Oh, but before we go any further, I should introduce you to our new member, Heartbreak the Blastoise. Although I wanted a Ninetails, it just didn't make sense to bring one to a fire fight. Alright so off we go to the ice block, oh no we're stuck, oh no the bridge collapsed, oh no I'm stuck with Aya. Yada yada, Aster and Eclipse! BTW, I hope Ame puts a VS screen for them. They're a big part of the story. Simon and Tara could be argued too, but you hardly fight them. Overall, this was a brutal fight. In fact, I died during it, but Aya kept going and finished them off for me. I couldn't keep track of all 12 pokemon they had, but I can tell you that Electivire and Milotic were the toughest for my team to face. Even Rue's Trick Room gag didn't help him deliver the damages necessary. Plus Wreckage lost it's White Herb (I shoulda bought more, oops). At the end, it was Aya's Tentacool and Gengar that finished them off. Lol Schrodinger's Meowth.I don't think that quite works here, as Calceon hasn't actually been hit yet. So once I got past Aya getting captured and Eclipse getting roasted, it was off to Calceon to get my fire lit. But first Fern happens. And a coop with Charlotte goes smoothly. Got the ring back, back to lighting my fire. Firebug Charlotte proved quite a fun, but obnoxious, challenge. I almost beat her my first try, but that damn Rotom managed to evade my attacks, and yet still landed its own. Ultimately, here's what happened. Crime and PestilenceJr vs Typhlosion and Darmanian - I though she would open with Ninetails here, but this is still a lethal team. The only reason I opened with PestilenceJr is because of Mach Punch on Typhlosion, knocking it down to half health and drastically weakening its Eruption. PestilenceJr was clearly not a backbone here due to its Grass typing, but that Mach Punch did what it needed before Darmanian used Flare Blitz and KO'd it. Typhlosion used Eruption, taking out 45% of Crime's HP (ouch), but Crime KO'd Darmanian with Stone Edge. Crime and Rue vs Typhlosion and Volcania - Crime opens here with Sucker Punch on Typlosion, as I don't expect it to live past this turn. And how right I was, when Volcania used Signal Beam, severely weakening me, and Typlosion followed up with Heat Wave, KOing poor Crime. Rue finished with Trick Room, and the opening for Heartbreak is complete. Heartbreak and Rue vs Typhlosion and Volcania - Charlotte heals Typhlosion, giving me only one main focus. Rue goes with Psychic on Volcania, dealing some pretty good damage, and Heartbreak follows with Water Spout (egg move events FTW), severely injuring Typhlosion again and KOing Volcania before it could do anything. Then everyone took an accuracy drop. Heartbreak and Rue vs Typhlosion and M.Houndoom - Once again Charlotte heals Typhlosion, while I call Rue in for Plight (so Rue won't get messed up due to the accuracy drop). Heartbreak goes with Water Spout again, almost wiping out Charlotte's side (stupid super-heated field), but M.Houndoom survives and hits us with Heat Wave, combusting the field again and seriously hurting Heartbreak and KOing Plight. Heartbreak and Rue vs Typhlosion and M.Houndoom - Since Trick Room is still up, and Charlotte's on her last Hyper Potion (used on Typhlosion ofc), I nail Typhlosion with Psychic and wipe out Charlotte's side with Surf (even though Rue took damage, I couldn't afford to let Charlotte's side survive from Water Spout). Heartbreak and Rue vs Ninetails and Rotom-Heat - Charlottes on her last two pokemon, but she's not going down without a fight. Rue hits Rotom-Heat with Psychic, but Heartbreak misses its attack due to the accuracy drops. I get annihilated by Volt Switch on Heartbreak (dies) and Solarbeam on Rue (seriously hurt). Wreckage and Rue vs Ninetails and Rotom-Heat - We're both on our last pokemon, and Trick Room just ended. Ninetails strikes Rue first with Solarbeam, killing it. Rotom-Heat goes with Overheat, but I resist all the boost with about half my health left. I set up a Shell Smash, which is the only way I'm going to make it through this. Wreckage vs Ninetails and Rotom-Heat - I go after Ninetails with Cross Chop because Sun + Superheated field make Razor Shell a no-go. Ninetails goes down, and Rotom-Heat goes with another Overheat, this time only taking out about 30%. Wreckage vs Rotom-Heat - With only one chance at this, I go with Cross Chop....and I KO it! Luna all over again. The spoils of the battle Time to release another of our comrades. Who will it be? The contestants (Yes I realize I forgot to name Blastoise. I had done it previously, but I had to revert my save when I screwed up the IVs.) The Selection... The Release... Sigh. Well, only Blake (no relase, woo), T3RRA, Chateau (no release, woo) and Ciel to go. Hoping that loss won't hurt.
  9. I knew when he was going to jump so i was hovering over F8 and hit it at the right time.
  10. I'm surprised you managed to take Gligar down so easily! Although I don't remember it having any ground moves, so maybe that was your saving grace. BTW, you know you could get haircuts and shove pokesnax into any friendly evolution to get it done in about 3-5 minutes?
  11. Bravo! Another well done run. I'm looking forward to finishing mine up
  12. I think you're going to get face smashed if you plan to play it with KO = Death. This game is not generous.
  13. Just upload your save file to http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14576
  14. It's in the empty house in the south west corner of the town.
  15. I used the Byzbyzion tunnels where Mr.Biggleworth is to soft reset grind for one. There are 3 stones in the Spiritomb area, and 1 in the x door area. With blast powder you can mine a total of 8 times without much movement.
  16. Speed boost Blaziken should be able to sweep that gym. Maybe give it a Black Belt from Pancham Playground.
  17. Update #22 We begin this update with Cain having his Nidoking blow down a door. This guy is so hax. All is forgiven as we get to meet the glorious T3RR4. Cain gets Pwn'd T3RRA plays Price is Right T3RR4 tries baseball Cain learns fear We get graciously escorted to Agate Circus, where T3RR4 informs us she will go hit the showers, and cha-chas real smooth. The ringmaster confirms the showers were indeed met with the rawr powerawr of Terawrawrawr. Luckily we found Aya resting comfortably in the Big Top Tent, so Cain relieved and I can finally ditch him again. Crustle puzzle fully solved in about 15 minutes, and then we get to the Chateau de Gym Leaders where we get the battle pass for Samson. Then, GG pops on the TV and gives us all a dire warning. So Team Meteor somehow managed to set up 3 PULSEs without anyone seeing anything. Bravo. Mr. Mime, Clawitzer, and The Lullaby will be dealt with post haste!...or not since they're not even reachable atm. Curses!! Back to the circus were we have more time with my BFF. T3RRA Checks Ciel Now it's time to beat the crap out of strongman Samson. Rue vs Hariyama - I set up Trick Room while Hariyama goes with Heavy Slam. It hurts, but not as much as my Psychic next turn. OHKO. Begin the sweep! Rue vs Miensho - OHKO Psychic. Rue vs M.Lucario - I didn't expect the mega evolution to make that big of a difference. Apparently it did as it survived my Psychic and killed me. Drats. PestilenceJr vs M.Lucario - Samson tries to heal, but PestilenceJr wrecks it with a Nice! Force Palm. Trick Room expires as Blaziken arrives. PestilenceJr vs Blaziken - But PestilenceJr is much faster, and wrecks it with another Nice! Force Palm. #PlantWithFistsOnBigTopArenaOP Crime vs Hawlucha - I'm sure you can guess how this went. Hawlucha goes with HJK, I survive with Stury and Counter retaliate for a OHKO. PestilenceJr vs Conkledurr - I figured this was a cinch. I go with Force Palm...hit an OK!...and Conkledurr survives and OHKOs me with Ice Punch. SOB. Woe vs Conkledurr - Intimidate gives me some reprieve I hope. I go with Retaliate as Samson heals Conkledurr up, and I barely make a scratch. I go with Fire Fang and only drop it to about 60% before I die. Wreckage vs Conkledurr - I was hoping I could end it, but I missed Razor Shell, and died to Brick Break. Crime vs Conkledurr - Only thing I can do here is Sucker Punch, and I drop it into the yellow before dying. Plight vs Conkledurr - Things aren't looking good, but Plight has the power to do this. I go with Wild Charge and nail it. Conkledurr goes down! The spoils of the battle Once the battle ends, we round up and get just a little more Queen o' B00ty time. T3RR4 checks Ciel Meet Timmy Alas, it's time to release another of our dear, dear comrades. Who will it be? Let's see who we have! The Selection... The Release... Time to get to Charlotte's gym. I think I have enough selection here to manage. If not, Thick Fat Mamoswine may be making an appearance.
  18. Yes, Kuro and xyr crew have gotten online battling and trading working during the development on E16. Whether it will release with E16 is anyones guess. The main issue remaining is they need to set up a server for it. They are not planning to make a GTS or Wonder Trade at this time. You can see more here http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16211 I also advise lookking through the Mews and Announcements section to get more information on the game.
  19. Update #21 Well, I wanted an update, but this is as much as I got. Basically spent all day doing a last sweep of interesting pokemon, and training my new recruit. Meet Rue the Renuculus. Yup, I went and got the Yueryu Key and also nabbed Rotom. I was considering getting Magnezone, but I ran in in Run 2 and it was mediocre. Sturdy T-Wave was its biggest advantage, which was usually followed up with Gardevoir's Destiny Bond for those obnoxious bosses. Beyond that it lacked the offensive power to drive home the damage it needed to justify its slow speed. With fighting, fire, ground, and flying gyms left, it only has advantage in flying, and even then it got pounded by EQ. Levitate Rotom should spell hell for Ciel though hahaha. Byxbyzion signs are trippy tho. Grabbed a few data chips in 7th street for later too, one of which I'm planning to use to get a Rotom form. We'll see what I need when I get there. This is my farewell to Reborn City. From here on out it's one man and his suicide squad vs the terrors of T3RR4 and her crew. It's been fun. But it's now time to cross the point of no return. Also, I fixed the Tauros sprite issue
  20. You're doing a great job, keep it up! Also, I meant no insult by my comment. I figured it was an honest mistake, but still a funny one. My apologies if it came out that way. I like your strategy of using Perish Song. But in regards to mewtwo, don't forget that Glitch Field removes the special attack/special defence split, and that psychics are much stronger.
  21. Swap Swirlix for Fearow. Open with Emolga and Meowstic, Target and kill that Masquerian. If Yanmega doesn't come out, pull in Emolga and bring out Swalot. Save Emolga for Yanmega, and Infernape for a death switch-in. You need to pay close attention to Infernape or it will get crushed and you will have a very hard time against those last two bugs. Fearow should be fast enough, and have Aerial Ace, to do enough damage while it's out. The only other suggestion I can give is get a Bonsly, and evolve it into a Sudowoodo. Provided you cleared Masquerian and Anorith, there shouldn't be any more Grass/Water threats to manage.
  22. Damn Sucker Punch. Never see those coming. On another note, I think you beat the game. I'm not sure if anything will stop you now. I know you'll struggle against some gyms, but all your main enemies have been removed. Your weakness, T3RR4, isn't until way late and by then you ought to have an OP Commander. BTW! Don't forget PIchu on the Onyx Ward rooftop garden hiding behind a tree on the west side. It needs to be a clear day for it to be there.
  23. @Commander - I think I'll spend some time today looking for some good type trumpers. I know I want to pickup a Hawlucha post PONR. Luna was still hyper Offensive thanks to that field, but since her pokemon were slated towards the tanky side (i'm assuming they're all perfect EV/IV and Nature) it did the work of defense without using abilities. @Hiroki - Not to mention its extreme defenses. TBH I didn't expect Chandlure to do much against Samson because his team is typically fast, and carries Dark moves. I also did grab Ralts during my training run, same time I did the Squirtle and whatnot quests. Right now workng on grabbing that Beldum (did you know it's only a maximum of 3% chance to catch?), and then I will probably breed another Ralts so I can have Gardevoir and Gallade (G3 and G4 woo) for the fights post PONR. Not really sure what I'll replace Chandlure with atm. I'll figure it out today. Hopefully I'll have an update for you all today.
