  1. I've been looking for quite some time, but I haven't found any Lombres in Terajuma Jungle, neither in tall grass or fishing. Am I just being unlucky or was he removed from the Jungle?
  2. Sounds like a plan! Is there somewhere I can get a Leaf Stone other than mining rocks?
  3. (Note - I'm not sure if any event in the story (pre V6) counts as a Spoiler - sorry in advance.) I am currently doing a Grass Monorun of Rejuvenation, and I'm afraid I've hit an impass. I can't seem to go any further because of sheer difficulty. I've reached Goldenleaf Town, and I was about to head into the gym, until I was surprised by Aelita. I just can't seem to beat her. My current team consists of: Lv. 36 Weepinbell (Chlorophyll) w/ Vine Whip, Stun Spore, Growth, Knock Off (currently holds nothing) Lv. 36 Parasect (Effect Spore) w/ Spore, Poison Powder, Slash, Fury Cutter (currently holds nothing) Lv. 38 Sawsbuck (Chlorophyll) w/ Take Down, Horn Leech, Jump Kick, Feint Attack (currently holds Rose Incence) Lv. 38 Cherrim (Flower Gift) w/ Sunny Day, Growth, Leech Seed, Petal Dance (currently holds Quick Claw) Lv. 38 Tangrowth (Chlorophyll) w/ Knock Off, Wild Charge, Growth, Giga Drain (currently holds nothing) Lv. 39 Chesnaught (Bulletproof) w/ Stacking Shot, Spiky Shield, Seed Bomb, Rollout (currently holds Miracle Seed) (I also have a Phantump and Budew in storage) My usual strategy for a fight was to set up Sunny weather using Cherrim, and then using it with Growth from Tangrowth, Cherrim and Weepinbell to attempt to sweep the enemy team. Cherrim can use Sunny Day in the first turn, but then loses a little over half its health to Scraggy's Ice Punch. It can't one-shot Scraggy either - not without a lucky crit or with one use of Growth. Hawlucha is also another problem. My only Pokémon that can tank his Aerial Aces is Tangrowth, and he can one shot Hawlucha with a 2x Growth (or 1x Growth under the sun) Wild Charge - though this is negated if the AI decides to use Bulk Up. (I'm usually screwed afterwards) Mienfoo is probably the least threatining Pokémon she has, I haven't had much issue with it. Gallade is slightly hard, though I seem to take care of it easily with Sawsbuck as it lacks a fighting-type move. Lastly, her Blaziken. I don't even know what to do to her Blaziken - the only point I got to see it was when 4 out of 6 of my Pokémon had kicked the bucket (leaving only Parasect and Chesnaught) and I haven't seen it since. Considering it has Speed Boost... oh dear. So, I turn to the forums for advice - is there any Pokémon (that is part Grass-type) or strategy that I should try using for this fight? I would be greatly thankful!
  4. Camouflage does not seem to work for me - I've tested it with a Deerling in Gearen City (both in a wild battle in the park and in a trainer battle), and Goldenwood Forest, but when you use it, all it says is "But it failed!". EDIT: I have yet to try it in a field effect, such as the Poison Field, but I'll report back once I get the chance. EDIT 2: It seems Camouflage works when there's a field effect in play, but fails when there is no field effect (such as regular battles in Gearen City).
  5. It doesn't have perfect IVs (Speed is the only one below 10, the rest is above 25), nor Prankster, but that can be fixed with Ability Capsules. Although, I can't give it Will O' Wisp, so there's that.
  6. After some debate, I decided to start a Ghost-type monorun in Reborn. Only issue is, there's no starters that become part Ghost-type, nor are there any Ghost-type Pokémon around until I reach, I believe Beryl Ward? Maybe it's a little bit sooner than that. So, I wanted to request someone to use my save file and add a Ghost-type Pokémon in there. I want to ask for an Honedge, but if it's considered too strong, Sableye could also work. I just need something that will get me through the first 2 gyms and PULSE fights. Anyway, my save is attached below. Thanks in advance! Game.rxdata
  7. Because it's most certainly delicious.oh god that was awful Anyway, hiya! I'm relatively new to the forums here in Reborn, and I decided to introduce myself. I love Pokémon, especially doing Challenge runs, and I've just finished Episode 15 with a Ground-type monorun. I'm trying to think of what type I'm gonna use next... My favorite Pokémon is Scrafty, with Honchkrow, Krookodile and Golurk in a 3-way tie close second. I have increasingly random luck as a game progresses (mostly in Pokémon), from getting hit with crits countless times in a row to having the opponent never move again due to parahax. I don't know what else to say... I hope to have a grand ol' time here in the forums!
  8. I'm back with even more Ground-type reviews! Pretty much covers up every Pokémon I've used so far. Feedback is welcome! Diggersby Nidoking Gligar Flygon Onix / Steelix Marowak Claydol Rhydon I've left out, in particular, Dugtrio, Sandslash and Golem because I haven't used them in this run. They just seemed subpar compared to other options. EDIT: I also wanna point out that in Hippowdon's "review" (I don't even know if I should call it that...), I accidentally said that Excadrill has Sand Stream, though I ment to say Sand Rush. EDIT2: Fixed some typos
  9. Because Numel has 16 Egg Moves (none of which he can learn himself), there is (probably) a 1/16 chance to get Numel with Heat Wave. Though not as good, if you don't manage to get a Numel with Heat Wave, he still learns Flame Burst and Lava Plume by himself early on (levels 15 and 22). I got through the Tangrowths using Numel too, though I used one with Amnesia, Growth (the egg move it came with) and the ability Simple, which made the fights relatively easy.
  10. I was doing the Totem Poll event near Beryl Ward, using ill-fated dolls to summon Pokémon, When I caught a Baltoy, it came with Stealth Rock, which can be only taught via move tutor. I know that some event Pokémon have a chance to generate egg moves, but since Baltoy is genderless, it has no egg moves. The weird thing is that this never happened with Golett (which is also genderless and caught from the same event). Has this happened to anyone else?
  11. I can offer some Ground-type rankings: Mamoswine Hippowdon Excadrill Donphan Krookodile Quagsire / Whiscash / Gastrodon / Seismitoad / Swampert Lastly... Golurk
  12. That I don't know, but it only seems to work on Pokémon that you find through actual events (like Numel, Teddiursa, Emolga, etc) and not trades. Though, the egg move is probably selected the moment you fight/"catch" it.
  13. E15 added a feature so that event Pokémon (like Emolga) have atleast 1 egg move. Quote from the change-list: "Some event Pokemon will now generate with one of several egg moves"
