Yeah, that's honestly a pretty easy fight for Souls games, but as a new player, you shouldn't worry about how many tries it takes you. Just keep powering through, learning patterns and eventually you'll be able to tell how to dodge an attack even when fighting a boss for the first time. The hardest thing about that boss is just the intimidation factor of his transformation. It put me on edge and I ended up dying, but I got him the second time, which just goes to show how easy thin...

To all of you who played Dark Souls 3, are bonfires more frequent now? How about the rumors about being able to create save points/bonfires?

Also, I should mention that Bloodborne is probably a perfect balance of where the Lanterns are ((same thing as Bonfires.)) so if they do that it'll probably be a more smooth experience. SInce that game the way the map was laid out they weren't ever crazy distances away. So, I imagine it should be pretty good. ((I just... like Bloodborne a lot and hoping the stuff they learned from that game trickles into DS3 jsut a little.))

5 minutes in, a girl was mentally tortured, her mind remained in one piece and she didnt break, she was rescued, her torturers powers transferred to her by her torturer, then she finds her world destroyed.

After e-mailing MangaGamer about their stance on youtube, they told me that the developers dictate if youtubers are allowed to post stuff on youtube, i told them to make it easier for youtubers to see which developers allow youtubers to post videos of their game to youtube and they told me they like my suggestion and that they will make it a reality! SUCCESS! Yipeee

Welp, dark souls has been fun, but i cant stand all the backtracking anymore, i cant stand it how i have to spent half an hour getting back to where i was if i died, im fine with me dying and losing stuff but backtracking is something i really, really hate.

Which stat should i focus on on Dark Souls? I know i dont want faith or intelligence since i chose a melee character but whats a good thing to do? I chose wonderer as my starting class.

To be completely honest, strength is better than dexterity in every way. Strength weapons are hands down superior to dex weapons stat-wise, so if that's all you care about, build strength. There are also just a lot more strength weapons in general. Dex weapons tend to have the cooler movesets though, and they still work fine. Basically, if you want to use whips, rapiers, and stuff like that go dex. If you want stats, straight swords, clubs, greatswords, hammers, axes... go strength.

Your attack stat (Str or Dex) should be your highest stat by far. I honestly wouldn't level health too much. Most bosses will still one shot you anyway, so it's generally not worth it. That being said, don't ignore it completely, but build it up slowly. Don't focus on it. Your attack stat and your endurance are far more important for a melee build.

The first boss was really easy in dark souls, i guess thats to be expected?

Yea, I jsut think 1 is the most solid of the games. Demon Souls has a few somewhat... werid difference and Bloodborne is entirely paced different to the point the tempo is very different in it ((it's my favourite due to this since i love how fast it feels and how much mroe offensive you can be.)) But yea, storywise they are all separate so there's no continuity.
