You could always get a couple of summons to help you. Summons make all Souls games a lot easier.

Yeah, that's honestly a pretty easy fight for Souls games, but as a new player, you shouldn't worry about how many tries it takes you. Just keep powering through, learning patterns and eventually you'll be able to tell how to dodge an attack even when fighting a boss for the first time. The hardest thing about that boss is just the intimidation factor of his transformation. It put me on edge and I ended up dying, but I got him the second time, which just goes to show how easy thin...

If Bonfires are more common then ill definetaly give it a go, i also heard rumors that theres a way to create save points/bonfires now.

I've not really been apying attention as to not be spoiled so I can't confirm or deny lol

Also, I should mention that Bloodborne is probably a perfect balance of where the Lanterns are ((same thing as Bonfires.)) so if they do that it'll probably be a more smooth experience. SInce that game the way the map was laid out they weren't ever crazy distances away. So, I imagine it should be pretty good. ((I just... like Bloodborne a lot and hoping the stuff they learned from that game trickles into DS3 jsut a little.))

maybe it's your cpu that's bottlenecking it, because i'm pretty sure the gtx 960 can run something from 5 years ago at 1080p

To be completely honest, strength is better than dexterity in every way. Strength weapons are hands down superior to dex weapons stat-wise, so if that's all you care about, build strength. There are also just a lot more strength weapons in general. Dex weapons tend to have the cooler movesets though, and they still work fine. Basically, if you want to use whips, rapiers, and stuff like that go dex. If you want stats, straight swords, clubs, greatswords, hammers, axes... go strength.

Your attack stat (Str or Dex) should be your highest stat by far. I honestly wouldn't level health too much. Most bosses will still one shot you anyway, so it's generally not worth it. That being said, don't ignore it completely, but build it up slowly. Don't focus on it. Your attack stat and your endurance are far more important for a melee build.

Yeeeea, keep in mind I was palying Bloodborne the msot recently... Health is better in it due to the Rally mechanic that allows you to regain HP from attacking enemies.

and the Asylum Demon doesn't count... will techinically he does but personally I don't see his the Tutorial boss.

lol, Eh... still don't consdier that backtracking. If you lose at a level etc... you still ahve to paly back up until that point. It's only more noticable in a Souls games since it is a slower game. But, that's imo lol.

worth going back and taking the time to play if you can. It's really why Souls is what it is in it's current form.

Yea, I jsut think 1 is the most solid of the games. Demon Souls has a few somewhat... werid difference and Bloodborne is entirely paced different to the point the tempo is very different in it ((it's my favourite due to this since i love how fast it feels and how much mroe offensive you can be.)) But yea, storywise they are all separate so there's no continuity.

Amazing series, 10/10 would recommend until I die of recommending. Eentually you get used to playing it and it isn't even that bad aside from a few annoying boss fights.
