just a little update to keep this thread alive, I'm working on portraits for the gender select screen. still a wip but... I had a fun time making them, just modified the punk trainer sprites by naphae on DA and it worked out pretty well so far. Next will be the GN character. edit: Updated image to show some minor improvements.

anyone know of any good resources to learn python? starting to learn programming but don't want to pay a ton of money for classes

I have the same issue and I find that closing as many programs/processes as possible helps a bit. Programs to speed up the game also help but ultimately you'll have to brave through the huge areas. It's possible for the game to be optimized to make it less taxing but there's no permanent solution for now. :/

Just a general tip, if you need to export a map and it's too big to take a screenshot of I recommend this tool to export the map very easily. http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=351200

I think the whole situation is just bad timing. Pokemon has gotten super popular lately thanks to Pokemon Go, thus a newly released game is bound to get tons of attention. Nintendo is definitely choosing to take down the games because Sun and Moon are set to come out soon. Plenty of Pokemon fan games and hacks have been featured on gaming websites before and haven't recieved takedowns, so we know this isn't only a matter of staunchly protecting their IP.

Yes, lack of snap edges in an area and lots of connections kills a game,. Best to keep areas moderately sized. I love the snowy location, by the way.

Nooo, I have fun watching them. I've managed to catch you live once or twice but watching them is very soothing for some reason, haha.
