This is very helpful, I just finished registering a few minutes ago and was just about to post a question about how exactly we challenge the leaders. So just to make sure I fully understand this, ( I apologize if I go into way to much detail with this, but I just don't want to mess up ) I go onto the Reborn Showdown room at what would be 2:00 P.M. MST ( my time ), type in the chat ( for example ) "Hey RBRN Nova I would like to battle Nick." , make any last minute preps to my team, then just wait for the leader to send me a challenge, to which I will readily accept.

In memory of the great Monty Oum I'll take the team RWBY theme, with the Vero (m) sprite. My team will be. God I hope I'm ready for this.

Lets be honest, we all know that Ame isn't going to give us the Mega Ring until episode 20... All right enough fooling around, I feel like episode 16 would be the perfect time, plot wise to get the mega ring. We'll probably get it as some kind of reward after we stop the supposed meteor invasion, but much like with HMs' in past episodes we won't be able to use it until next episode . While I do think that M- Harecross and M-Pinsir are OP AF, considering what gym leaders we have left they won't be terribly useful.

All right here's my team, though I'm not very confident in my team building skills I think I did decent job, but any and all help would be appreciated. Milotic Scald Dragon Tail Mirror Coat Recover Galvantula Thunder Volt Switch Bug Buzz Sticky Web Excadrill Earthquake Iron Head Rapid Spin Stealth Rock Weavile Ice Punch Knock Off Ice Shard Taunt Rotom-Heat Overheat Volt Switch Will-o-wisp Pain Split Dragonite Dragon Claw Extreme Speed Fire Punch Dragon Dance In terms of typing the only major weakness I see is rock, but I do have a few counters so I'm not to worried there. For my moves I'm debating replacing Ice Punch on Weavile for ether Poison Jab/Brick Break, replacing Mirror Coat on Milotic with Ice Beam, getting rid of Volt Switch on Galvantula for Giga Drain/Energy Ball or discharge for the double battles, and I think rock slide on Dragonite or Excadrill would be good for doubles but I don't know what I would get rid of. My biggest concern is if my movesets are good for doubles and triples sense I rarely do those, I could use any help you guys can give, and I'm willing to swap out mons' if it seems like it would make the team better/more balanced ( except for Milotic, she's kinda like my Ace on this team so she will not be replaced ).

I brought that up in my previous post on this thread ( the ridiculously long one about why I think Anna is the champ and Arclight is an elite 4. )

That's a pretty cool theory, and it makes a lot of sense having the strongest trainers in the region safeguarding the keys, but I still feel like Anna is gonna be the champ. When she's not being adorably psychotic she gives off this vibe of wisdom and mysteriousness that reminds my of other champions such as Cynthia, Lance, and Alder. Plus there's that whole thing where they're intentionally keeping her position a secret, like at the orphanage where Noel is about to say what Anna is, but then gets silenced. It would be pretty weird to hide her being an elite 4 considering Charlotte revealed that Laura was an elite 4 literally 5 seconds beforehand. Also I just want to point out your logic for why Arclight can't be an elite 4 or the champ, is wrong. While most of the leaders are heavily involved in the plot, a couple of them have little to no impact on the plot. All Kiki did was tell us to go fight Cal, not give us our badge, and die. ( though I guess you could argue that her death was the final trigger for Cal to truly let go of his past and start fresh, so I suppose in that regard she did have a bit of impact on the plot). Serra did literally nothing for the plot and felt more like a side character during Bennet and El's introduction. If anything she was a plot device, not a plot relevant character. The only thing Samson did was trap/delete Terra, and Ciel didn't do ANYTHING. So I think it's totally unreasonable to think he doesn't even have a chance of being part of the league just because he hasn't done anything. Also he could just be to busy to go around hunting team meteor, remember this guy runs/DJ's a nightclub so he's not gonna have a whole lot of free time, couple that with him taking down reborn's underground ( when you do the lucky egg side quest Arc asks you to buy out the black market because the salesmen won't sell to him because he 's "raised some hell here to many times", this implies that Arcs gone down there and tried to clean the junkies and criminals out of his city lots of times before), and it's doubtful that he'd have ether the time or energy to fight off a criminal organization. Lastly there's the fact that the games not even finished. It's entirely possible that he simple hasn't done anything YET. I mean we are going back to the city next episode and supposedly having a confrontation with meteor, so who knows he might get involved soon, but even if he doesn't that might not necessarily mean he's not a part of the league.

Thank you very much biboo. Knowing I can get a ralts later made the decision of soft resetting for an axew much easier. It took me about 5 hours but I managed to get one ( I also got like 4 eevee's and 3 ralts' along the way). It urks me a bit that the guide doesn't say anything about getting ralts later on, but I guess everyone makes mistakes, so I can't be to mad ( unless it was intentional in which case i'ma be super pissed).

Hmm, so the champion is a girl in a red dress, interesting. Also I just want to point out when G. Gallade was talking to the champion, they referred to Ariel as both xe and her, sooo continuity error?

So I just checked on the pokemon location guide http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13932 and it says that the ONLY way to get ralts at this time is as a starter, but a lot of people on this thread are saying that you can get it later in the game. I don't know if it was something that was changed very recently and no one's confirmed it yet, or if the guide is wrong, but I would very much appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this before I soft reset a jackpot ralts.

Let's be honest, we all know that we're not gonna get magikarp until post-game. I do however, believe that we are going to get at least the next 2 steps of its side quest in episode 16.

I had a little bit of trouble with PUSLE Swalot, but not too much. I can't remember how exactly I took it down, but I think it only beat me once and after that I slaughtered it. I have full confidence that Shofu will be able to beat the PULSE in under three episodes (probably).

True, but sense we can't go back to the city anyway the change could literally be triggered anytime after the cutscene where we first meet Terra and it wouldn't matter at all.

It wouldn't make sense to change the city at the beginning of the game cause the city being trashed is like the whole theme of the game. I'm guessing that the map change would be triggered ether right when we go to the circus and get locked out of the city, or when we leave the big top after getting Ceil's badge.

Well technically the izer items where out in wild for us to find, except that we had to trade them for magby and elikid. So it would fine if we got to by them at the department store.

I am super excited for this, I need to start making a good team. A couple of things though, I know it was brought up earlier but freeze clause sounds kinda stupid, it's not like sleep where there are half a dozen moves that ( if they hit ) are guarantied to inflict it so it's really lame that there's a rule that you're disqualified if something that you can't control happens, and you guys say you're putting it in cause " it's everywhere" but I've never even heard of it before now. Also I don't really have a problem with not being able to change up movesets, but it's completely broken if the leaders know all your sets before the battle starts, I get that you're doing it to make sure people aren't cheating and using moves that they didn't register, but it makes it absolutely unfair. If you guys could find a way to make sure people aren't cheating with there sets without giving the leaders our info I think this could be amazing. I'm gonna predict Elliot is ghost, Olivia is grass, and Ariel is fire.

Damn Ame I know you work like a monster but this is crazy, please get well soon. I think I can speak for just about everyone when I say we'd rather wait then have you risk messing up your hands worse.

Dang I was looking forward to going up against Jirachi. Like RasenShot said I think it's ok for super powerful trainers to have minor legendary pokemon. The E4 and champ (who as I have previously stated I believe to be Anna) are the absolute pinnacle of the pokemon world so it's not to weird to think they might be able to tame such incredible creatures. In fact the cannon materials supports this, in the anime Tobias had a Darkrai and Latios, in the games N had Resiram or Zekrom, in the pokemon special manga series the legendary beasts briefly let Misty, Blaine, and Lt. Surge use them Blue( the female) caught the legendary birds and Red caught Mewtwo ,and of course lets not forget the pyramid king and his Regi trio. So it's been proven that some great trainers can ( at least temporarily ) wield the power of legends.

I can't find the squirtle, I talked to the nerd when it was raining now it's clear out, I'm in the grotto where it should be but nothing please help.
