Here is a list of my favourite steam games: - Rocket League(A fun gravity based sports game with cars great for some casual fun) - Terraria (Similar to Minecraft except in 2D so if you like crafting things and exploring it can be very fun) - Dungeon Defenders 1 & 2 (Nice tower defence game with a more ARPG esque vibe to it which is fun solo but best played with others) - Castle Crashers (Great game that is crazy fun again best played with others) - Battleblock Theater( Fun platformer that is great to play alone or with friends) - Left 4 Dead 2 (Fun team based shooter that is great for singleplayer and multiplayer + Mod support) - Warframe ( A game that I describe as a third person shooter with rpg aspects to it and for a free to play game I would say it's one of the best out there) I just feel that I need to mention these games to give them more exposure though most listed are fairly popular to a degree.

I've honestly been hoping to see a topic like this for ages as I've wanted to explain what type of gamer I am for awhile now. I consider myself a hardcore gamer as I invest most of my time playing games and can easily put 100+ hours into games I really like and in general I always try to find ways to make a game I like last longer in unconventional ways if the game doesn't have a way of it's own to extend it e.g. New Game+ or something similar. I would say while I can play for fun I prefer tough games that test my skills even if it makes me rage as I feel the emotions a game evokes are pretty much the best part of gaming for me while others would say playing with friends is the best but I don't have many of those and because of that I'm primarily a solo gamer as such I stick to single player games for the most part though I do play online from time to time. I enjoy competitive gaming to a high degree as I like becoming better at something for the sake of victory certain games like Gears of War 2/3 and Halo 3/4 hold a place in my heart for having some of the most epic, funny and clutch moments in my gaming history. Unfortunately due to how salty I get I try to avoid playing these types of games with friends and always opt for co-op games where possible to limit the negativity as I would rather have fun with others then yell at them lol I feel I do this out of consideration.

Well I didn't watch the Nintendo Direct I was busy having fun with a friend but I saw the cloud trailer and was hmm I know little about him I will have to see how he plays to decide if he's cool or not

Call me biased, But I'd have to recommend Final Fantasy X. It was the first game in the series to have voice acting, so it's a little rough at matching mouth movements, but the story and characters are incredible. It was re-released somewhat recently in an HD version, so I'd look into it if you're interested. But really, you can start almost anywhere. The majority of the games aren't directly connected.
