  1. Oh man, you're telling me I had a Scizor nicknamed "CircumScizor", but I had to cut it to CircumSciz because of the character limit I'm still salty from that, I'd nickname everything if I could bypass that character limit
  2. Fem!Morgan's arguably the best character, either with Ricken!Noire, Lon'qu!Severa, Kellam!Nah or inheriting Manakete from Tiki/Aether from Olivia!Lucina
  3. Have you seen Psycho-Pass yet? If not, that's something I'd recommend. It has amazing story progression, they're able to explain the rules of the world in the beginning, and the rest of the story builds around those rules. It's amazing how beautiful the emotional spectrum is. It also looks beautiful, which is a great plus
  4. You'll have to re-upload it to an external site like Imgur if you want to do so. Just take the .jpeg/whatever extension, and copy it into the image button Like so Edit: Wrong link, you saw nothing
  5. Hey, if I want to do a giveaway for ORAS, is there a specific forum that I should go to?

  6. My God, I hate Anything Goes Generally, when you're at ~1500 on the ladder, you run into competent teams. AG throws that out the window, I faced someone who had a full OU team in the 1500s. It's such a huge grind to get to people who are decent at the game. I faced teams with six Klefkis that all they do is try to swagplay you, people who don't understand the type charts, and people who cuss you out for using legendaries on a tier that's called Anything Goes. This sounds elitist as fuck Don't even get me started on Numel
  7. Same sentiment. I think the level cap is a great idea, it removes grinding as an option, controls the pace of the game, bla bla bla But there's no point in a level cap if you're going to greatly exaggerate the leader's advantage alongside it. The leaders get held items galore, moves that aren't garbage, a field that helps their team and you get garbage tms and at best, a type-boosting item. You're not fighting on fair terms, you're fighting on uneven ones. Strategy goes out the window when you play against them since you're severely limited in what you can do. There's no point in trying to change the terrain, because the moves required are so niche and rare at that point that you rarely have the oppurtunity to do so. It becomes a grindfest in a different sense, now you're grinding for mons outside your regular team, and this isn't a better alternative. Gym leaders shouldn't be a wall that absolutely stops your progress. Especially in a game that has an interesting story, it completely cuts off the immersion experience and leaves you less invested. A gym leader should be challenging, I won't deny it. But it should never feel unfair
  8. Baned because double dubs
  9. Fucking Hell. I'm trying to do a Pachirisu solo run and I keep getting Zigzagoon. Worst part was that I reset so many times my starter's a shiny

  10. Apologies if you took it the wrong way, I didn't mean anything negative by it Monotype viability is incredibly different to standard though, I have no clue as to why you're bringing it up. You're in a tier where stuff like Torkoal is on a higher viability rank than stuff like Chandy I'm speaking from experience. Ice is genuinely a bad type, it has very little usable pokemon going for it, and it ends up being incredibly difficult to build a team that doesn't get invalidated by a single mon. That's why I'm curious as to who'll make it through, they'll have an incredibly robust team and crazy skills. Addressing the part about it in doubles/triples, the only reason you'll use mono-ice in that format is if you had M-Abomasnow with TR support. Otherwise the lack of support mons and rock slide/fake out spam makes it difficult to pull off better than singles
  11. I played SMT IV and got easy mode immediately in the first dungeon Also immediately accepted it Worst part was that I've played SMT I and II before
  12. Can't think of anything off the top of my head, Draw my thing maybe? Guessing Blanchette
  13. Good luck to anyone going for mono-ice! Mono-ice is already horrible in monotype, removing megas and legendaries kills it completely I can't wait to see the teams that make it through, the entire league looks brutal as hell
  14. Only ever played Phantasia on the gba, it was fun as hell though Inb4 what the hell is Tales of Phantasia
  15. /vp/'s talking about reborn. Past the circlejerking, they bring up some incredibly valid points

  16. You might want to put something forth in return for the service. Animation is a huge pain in the ass to do, especially if you're doing it by yourself.
  17. The only team weakness was the issue with set up sweepers Clef+Bro were alternative measures if you didn't want to run endure for whatever reason, you can ignore them for the most part Something important to note about RMTs is that while you can replace a mon, it really doesn't serve the OP much when you open up another weakness. Sylveon's role seems to be to lure Scizor, which is why I shifted it's job to Bro. At the end of the day, you don't want to detract too much from the original team's purpose. If OP wants Slash to sweep late-game, then anything that inhibits the sweep has to be removed with relative ease early on. Chomp with dragon tail was what the OP already had, so I rolled with it The fact that the leaders can change the format on the fly is new to me though, a ton of singles strategies are worthless in doubles, and vice-versa. The same rationale can be applied to doubles. If you have a team that's way too focused on doubles, the leader can also choose to switch to Singles. If that's the case, the only really viable archetypes are Bulky Offense, and to a smaller extent, Hyper Offense. Stall to Balance archetypes struggle a ton in doubles, mostly due to the inability to pivot
  18. Banned for talking about Arcanine, Arcanine is now a bannable offence
  19. If possible, please repost with the whole team with the changes. It's a bit difficult to re-rate if you just post the changes. There are a multitude of teams in here Oh boy, this looks like a weird team This team looks like it can't decide if it wants to be Semi-Stall or Balance, and it ends up being a weird mix of both It ends up being really weak to set-up sweepers, stuff like BD Azu, SD Sharp, SD Chomp, and the like Something you can do to alleviate this issue is to run Endure Garchomp > Toxic Garchomp Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Rough Skin EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spe Impish Nature - Stealth Rock - Earthquake - Dragon Tail - Endure Endure gives Chomp the ability to chip away more HP from a potential threat, while not detracting too much from standard TankChomp. This lets you revenge-kill any physical sweepers with Scizor much more easily. Essentially you only save him if you see a huge threat, otherwise you can use him as you always have. Otherwise, you could consider running CM Clefable > Sylveon Clefable @ Leftovers Ability: Magic Guard/Unaware EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD Calm Nature - Calm Mind - Moonblast - Soft-Boiled/Moonlight - Thunder Wave Clefable is able to form two roles depending on what you need at the time, either an Unaware Wall or a Stallbreaker MG Set. EVs are standard for OU, but you should probably switch it up to whatever mon you want to wall better, since the threats Clef covers with this spread don't exist in the league. Soft-boiled and Moonlight is slashed because Softboiled is illegal with Unaware, but it's the better recovery move With this change though, you end up loosing a reliable way to nail Scizor, so another change I'd recommend in tandem is to run Fire Blast > Thunder Wave on Slowbro. Slowbro @ Leftovers Ability: Regenerator EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Scald - Psyshock - Fire Blast - Slack Off This lets Slowbro nail Scizor harder. assuming you don't miss. Otherwise everything is the same There really isn't any glaring issues outside what's been mentioned, pretty solid team altogether. Good luck for the league!
  20. I'm not a doctor. If you can't sleep, try disconnecting from the Internet Music genre of choice?
