I bet right now the only ones with items right now are the kings, and in a game where you don't know which players are on your side and not being outnumbered by your opponents is kind of a big deal you can't go shooting blindly (this is also why the queens aren't using their kill actions). You also kind of revealed that your king is most likely unprotected during the day phases (vests are pretty op in this game). If Nicki turns out to be white and her claims are true you just put your side in big trouble, your king will be revealed and will have to use both guns to avoid losing on the spot.

Even if you are town you can generally speak your mind and talk about who you think is suspicious with some degree of freedom, it's really hard to exchange ideas and information in this kind of situation. At best all the info you have about pieces on your side is that they know who your king is and at worst you are a pawn and completely in the dark. It's hard but it's also a really interesting position to be in, kind of a concentrated version of what makes these games entertaining.

Even if nicki told everyone who the opposing king was would you believe her? It's an easy way to direct a lynch that no one that isnt on that supposed king's side can prove, revealing in the process who is on what side. The only way for her to have enough credibility to do that would be to reveal both kings, and at that point we would be at a stalemate (provided everyone votes). If she does truly know who both kings are she should wait until her side has a numerical advantage. Voting Martin not knowing anything about what side he's on is a bit of a gamble, tbh. If Nicki and Martin are on opposite sides and she's telling the truth she'll have the edge over the other side necessary to win unless a pawn changes sides or the opposing queen kills and manages to hit an enemy piece while the opposing queen fails to kill a piece on Nicki's side. It's interesting to be in a game in which I dont have a space to safely discuss things with my faction, I wish I could say and hear more but I think this is all I can do.

Even if a pawn is your color it can potentially become an enemy too, and tbh I still think the people who is already not a pawn is more useful just by virtue of not having to spend a whole night phase to become a useful role.

Killing the pawns is a good idea if they are on the opposite side.

You claimed what would be a very convenient role to claim for mafia, as you have an excuse to not be the target of the factional kill while you can dismiss any suspicion against you by just saying that a town wouldnt try to lynch a role that the mafia can't autokill. What good is having a vest if no one is going to shoot you? If you are saying the truth your role lost most of its usefulness when you roleclaimed, I'd say it helps mafia regardless of whether there's a coyote or not because they know that targetting you is worthless. If I was mafia I'd let you do your thing while I target other people that potentially threaten more directly mafia's wincon, I don't see the mafia's need to lynch you over literally any other townie.

Pawns 3 and 4 of each side already knew this. It looks like all the pawns with the ability to promote this night tried to go for the queen role. I'd personally have tried to go for the white knight if I was black, 50% chance you go to the winning side + 50% chance of your side gaining an extra queen. Tbh I'd have gone for the white knight even if I was white, it looked like a secured promotion since most people would have gone for the queen + you are guaranteed to stay on the side with the advantage right now. The white side should now be looking into who might have been a pawn based on how they acted last phase (very limited info tbh) and the black side should look for people who are obviously doing that. In hindsight I think Alaris as the black queen might have been trying to identify black players by claiming to be white and reading how people reacted to it, but it backfired. The queen made a risky move and died, long live the Queen I guess.

So far he has been honest with all his day 1 roleclaims. If he's not the bulletproof guy then we have more than enough reasons to suspect him, if he is the bulletproof guy he's going to have our doctor tied up defending a now useless role to avoid giving immunity to the coyote. It doesnt look like a huge loss and I don't know who else to vote right now.

I guess I was wrong about Alaris

Based on her behavior so far I dont feel like Nicki is mafia (or holds any role important to the town, for that matter). Also there are more possible roles than players, 6 or 7 roles in that list that don't belong to anyone. While all three could perfectly exist there might not be a coyote, a fabricator and a saboteur all at once.

I think Alaris is telling the truth here, mafia doesnt win anything by foregoing their chance to give out a fake gun/vest to make Alaris look innocent and if there's indeed an appraiser they will learn as soon as they check Alaris that he doesn't have a gun.

That's a lot of people checking out and messing with Alaris' gun.
