Welcome! Though I guess you've actually been here a bit. So if you don't mind me asking, do you have a major and you hate it? Or are you trying to find a major you like and the struggle is real?

Just pointing out that if the field goes underwater, Gastrodon will be weak to water, so be sure to have Storm Drain on it or try to keep it from going underwater. I also think this is an interesting point for her Swampert, if she has one. If it uses Dive, as has been suggested, it will be setting itself up for some hurt from water attacks.

It's fun reading who people thought was hardest. For me it was probably Ciel. She just kicked my butt. I finally got so sick of it that I wound up Pressure-stalling her with Dusknoir and Ultra Potions until she just Struggled to death. Not very proud of that victory. Shelly gets an honorable mention. I think I laughed maniacally when I finally got that field lit up. And then I watched her pokemon burn. I wasn't bitter Easiest would probably be Kiki or Sera... Probably Sera I think Kiki was just some BS luck with Noibat. Donphan earthquaked right off the bat, and then Delphox, Toxicroak, and Pangoro mopped everything up pretty effortlessly. I wonder if she'll get A-ninetales to help counter fighting types...

I agree with the "important but not crucial" comment above. I usually watch Netflix while playing. That being said, the music (or sound effects) can really make a scene much better or convey an atmosphere that you want the player to feel.

This is cool, thanks for doing this. I only have a little speculation to add. I think the sleep spell might be a pulse pokemon using spore. Go pulse parasect! I don't think we'll ever be able to use pulse pokemon. It seems to hurt the pokemon, plus Ame likes to keep the gamer's experience pretty canon.

This game will be considerably harder than any of the canon "challenge the league" Pokemon games. Don't be surprised if you lose gym battles/boss battles fairly often.

I think Njab fixed that for me when it happened to me, and I think Caz recommends contacting him at the beginning of this thread if you have issues like that. So maybe give it a shot? I didn't think Tristan was THAT terrible... My Bannette with Will-o-wisp and curse seriously screwed up his team.

Which mon are using krokorok on? I haven't played desolation in a bit, but it seems krokorok would a good mon to take on both Xatu or Emolga, expecially if it has moxie and can nab a 1HKO with Crunch on Xatu to power up. You could give it metronome to try and up the damage of your Crunch spamming too (I think I remember having that..) I don't think budew is doing you any favors taking on the flying gym...

I was running around doing some more exploring and stuff and found a couple more things. 1. If I go back into Megan's office I get stuck, I can't leave, it's like there is something invisible blocking the door. 2. Buying a lemonade crashed the game Best!

No problem, like I said, it was fun! Maybe you already know this, but I know Rejuvenation has sprites for the gen 7 pokemon, maybe that would be a way to get sprites?

Not to state the obvious, but I'm pretty sure you have X-scissor by now. That would hit pretty hard against Malamar, if you have a good poke for it... Or maybe I'm just remembering the Zangoose you can get...

Just finished the game. I was honestly really impressed. Tons of content for a "prologue" and the it all fit well together. The photos of real people for the characters were kinda weird at first, but I got used to them. I enjoy that the main character has dialogue, and the writing never felt forced to me. So good job! I have some notes/questions. When I was picking the unofficial starter, I was kinda confused by the "Easy, Medium, Hard" that was attached to each one. Does your pick of the starter change the difficulty of the game? Like the actual levels and mons on peoples teams? What was your intention with those? - Pretty sure "obstacles" was misspelled in the intro - You can walk on the walls in the opening room with Teala - "Spectacle" is misspelled at the registration thing One last thing, when the mc is getting directions to Mt. kora, he gets told to go East from the cemetery, but if you're setting the top of the screen as North, you actually have to go west to get to mt. kora. Okay, I'm done. Thanks so much for the game, I really did think it was pretty awesome! Sorry for the barrage of screenshots, just trying to be helpful!

So @Hooligan just recently posted about how there are now 30k members on the forums, and that got me wondering. Does Reborn have a birthday? And if so, does anyone know what it is? Would it be the day that episode 1 was released, or the day that Ame started working on Reborn? Or some other day in between?

I first saw an episode of pokemon at my Grandma's house when I was like 6. I saw a charizard and my life was forever changed. Haha, then I remember finding where my parents were hiding the Christmas presents and I found the case for Pokemon Crystal, so I knew I was getting a gameboy too. I was SO excited for that Christmas. Still probably the best one in my memory. Looking back, I sucked at those games (spent DAYS in Viridian forest), but there were certainly lots of good memories. I hear the soundtracks to those games, Red, Yellow, Crystal, and I'm taken way back.

No, it's not supposed to happen, but as has been said, it's very well known. So just enjoy the weirdness of it while you can
