I don't remember which came first for me-getting Pokemon Silver for the Game Boy Color and seeing Lugia on the cartridge, or getting a Pikachu plush from a lady who ran my elementary school's after school care program. Either way, I was hooked from then.

While I'm not that far into Reborn (I'm currently training up for Radomus), out of the leaders I have fought, I'd honestly say Julia and Florinia were the hardest for me, while Aya and Noel were the easiest. I started with Piplup in my run, plus my team wasn't that great at the beginning of the game. Aya I got through with only half my team falling, and Noel I think only 2 of my Pokemon fainted. If this was a Nuzlocke run it'd be long over.

I don't. I believe every Pokemon has potential no matter its IVs, EVs, Nature, etc. Breeding for the perfect Pokemon takes more effort than I care to give.

A few Pokemon that helped me against Steelix were Arcanine, Medicham and Poliwrath. Steelix can't OHKO Poliwrath, while Arcanine and Medicham are guaranteed at least 1 hit before going down. Poliwag can be caught at Tanzan Cove in the morning, and then once it evolves into Poliwhirl, evolve it at level 43 when it gets Wake-Up Slap with a Water Stone. It can also get Swift Swim as a Hidden Ability, so if you have a Rain Dance summoner, you could sweep with it. Growlithe can be obtained in Jasper Ward after finding all the cops in both Jasper and Beryl Wards, and Meditite can be obtained at Apophyll Academy. If you have an Escape Rope, I'd recommend using it to get and train them. If not and you can't leave, you may need to revert to an older save.

That feel when you finally beat a boss that you had to grind for and almost completely quit the game because of it. That feel when you remember it was just the first boss.

My favorite type is Poison. Not only does my favorite Pokemon have that type (Spinarak), it's so much fun to poison your enemies and you have a variety of battle strategy options. Wanna set up Toxic Spikes? Done. Wanna take advantage of the Toxic Orb? Done. Wanna stall out opponents while Poison slowly drains their HP? Done. What can't you do with Poison (aside from affecting steel-types and other Poison-types, of course)? -

Even though Mega has worked for me when downloading other Pokemon fangames like Reborn, Rejuvenation, etc., I'd take Taska's advice and try uploading it to Mediafire. I tried redownloading it and it did the same thing again. Either that, or you didn't upload the correct file. Either way, I hope it gets resolved soon because it looks super promising.
