oh my bloody god i cant believe i forgot this existed (GENERATION UPDATE!) Hiya y'all, apologies for the delay with this update, it has been one hell of a stressful week I won't go into details. But as the title suggests, we have completed Generation 4! besides... Arceus.. Essentially we will be moving onto Generation 5 so all submissions from here on out should be from Generation 5 and are currently not completed on the Doc, However Arceus and its wonderful 18 different forms and backsprites are still available and are needing to be completed! Can't wait to see what you all get up to involving Gen 5.. and Arceus.. fucking Arceus why are you like this Cheers and stay safe! Posty

We did it Gamers. Doc has been updated and.. with the final few submissions we have finally completed Generation 3! and even before the New Year! Good work everyone So you know what this means.. we can finally move onto Generation 4! All submissions from now on should only be Pokemon from Gen 4, I can't wait to see what y'all get up to next! ~ The Wiki Project ~ Happy Holidays everyone! Hope you are all doing well and keeping safe during these times. Today I bring not a development update of sorts, well on the development side though things are going smoothly, I've finished up university for the term with only one major project to go until I graduate, so myself and the others (besides Caz, he's been on that grind) are getting back into the groove of things! Okay that aside, today we are introducing another Community Project of sorts, unlike the Shiny Project this one will involve a lot more hard labour and g r a m m a r. I present to you the Official Pokemon Desolation Community Wiki Project! Essentially like Reborn, Rejuvenation, Insurgence etc, we on the development team thought it would be a good idea to develop our own Wiki Site for everything Desolation related! Considering the game includes custom forms of Pokemon, it would make sense to store the stats, changes to movesets, etc for these forms somewhere! Not to mention a bit of information regarding Main Characters, Gym Leaders, Field Effects, would extremely help with players playing through the game, especially newcomers! However we on the team want to prioritise giving you top quality content so we need a bit of help. So this is where YOU! yes you right there, come in. We are looking for volunteers who can help us create this Wiki! If you are interested in giving us a hand, linked below is a form which you can fill out and apply to be apart of the Pokemon Desolation Community Wiki Team! If we accept you onto the team, you will be invited to a private discord server organised by myself where we can dedicate tasks and really look to develop the site. A few things to keep in mind before you apply: - We are looking for dedicated individuals who will be able to be consistent enough to help us, please consider your availability before you apply! We are using the sprites found within the current version of Pokemon Desolation (for Generation 1 - 7), these are also the sprites currently used in the EP18 of Reborn, also as linked on the main thread, we are using the public Generation 8 pack created by the community!

Why was this created, who decided this had to exist tbh the Dev team and I had a massive laugh with it, seeing everyone as Jarred and even the Aces was funny af, so props for that LOL So! To start off, I've mentioned this before but in EP5, I decided to axe 5/8 of the original starters from the beach in EP4, those being Sandile, Flabebe, Growlithe, Espurr and Sewaddle. The main reason behind these axes were well, Sewaddle early on as a "starter" is really bad, considering the first two gyms are Fire and Flying, it's just haha Hard Mode. Flabebe and Growlithe were axed due to them being stone evolutions, and I wanted to make it so the player wasn't locked out of having a "stronger" starter throughout the early game, Espurr I wasn't really vibing with and well.. Sandile.. Moxie. As of EP5, these were replaced with Doduo, Skiddo, Litleo, Venipede and Rockruff. The inspiration behind these choices were they evolved "early enough" that they could be pretty strong for the early game, and can still hold their own later on! Surprisely enough Skiddo does a hefty amount of work considering its a Grass Type, I also wanted to add a Gen 7 starter in the mix and Rockruff suited the role quite well, though I had to balance the game a bit to make it so Lycanroc doesn't just sweep (this will again be adjusted in EP6). These Pokemon in general aren't amazingly strong however do well at holding their own and that is why I chose them! (they may change for later EPs, but we'll see). Honestly, from all of us thank you for the support and playing the game! We're glad that you've enjoyed it so far and messages like these really do help with our motivation to keep working on the game, it tells us that we are going in the right direction aha <3 yes b-baka

why.. why did you create this, good fucking lord what have you done to Rosetta, i.. idk what to think or feel or anything, i dont know if i should be amazed by the fact that you spent a good amount of time doing this or absolutely horrified at the end result.

As of right now, we do not have any plans on introducing difficulty modes for the game, maybe this will change in the future? who knows, we can include them however we would then need to include 3 sets for each trainer in the game (casual, normal and intense) , which as you can imagine will take a very long time when we could be using that time to improve other aspects of the game. We are completely open though for the community to create their own difficulty versions of the game to upload here like the community have done with "Memeborn" and "Reborn Alt Forms". If we do decide to introduce difficulty modes, don't expect them for EP6, it will be for a future future episode!

Woooooooooow, can't believe you've called him an oversmart idiot well you see at the start of the game he is a bit of a smug ass punk, but later on he develops :O we don't have plans on changing up his personality early game, but he definitely will get character development! Hiya! its no worries what so ever, we haven't had questions opened in a while anyways so~ 1 - So the field notes.. haha, we planned on having them within the files for EP5 however we fell short of time/we just overall forgot to put it bluntly. On top of that the fields that you really needed notes for are either used once (Cloud Field) or are essentially somewhat the same as another field in Reborn. However in EP6 we are developing these fields to have more of a personality, so there will be a Field Notes in EP6! and if we forget then please shout at me until I make one. 2 - who knows.. 3 - There isn't a page like that here on the forums, we may make one in the future, orrrr if someone wants to develop a wiki for Pokemon Desolation, then we do not mind if the stats/other details are posted there! Tbh if someone wants to make a Megas/Perfection page here, then drop me a dm, i'll have a chat with the gang and we can decide how to go about it. 4 - As of right now, we have no plans of any extra battle mechanic to be implemented in the near future, this may change though! Our main focus is developing the concept of "Perfection Form", custom Megas are just an extra thing because damn, when a custom Mega is done right its gorgeous~

Generation Update Hey y'all, as the title says.. its time we move onto Generation 3! Cheers for all the work in grinding out the rest of Generation 2~ What this means is that, we will only be accepting submissions from Generation 3, so please keep that in mind when you are submitting your Shinies. Any Shinies submitting from a different Generation will be immediately rejected. Hope you see what y'all get up to x Posty
