is it possible to limit the random generation to pokemon acquied by the player, but keep opponent teams intact? because while obtaining random shit sounds fun, i would want to try them on the intense mode fights instead on randomly generated teams.

Cathode could only watch in shock and horror at what was happening to Suzie. It was not the first time that she would be on the losing edge, but it had never been in such a brutal way. She might have shrieked during the whole moment, or she might have not. She wouldn't be able to tell herself. She tried to use her pokeball to return the snake before she hit the beach rocks, but she had failed to aim properly. When she finally managed to adjust the aim properly, Suzie was groveling on the side of the rocks. She returned her without wasting a second. Her knees had become weak and trembling, but she didnt dare try to fall on the ground, lest she become an easier target. There was only one thing she could do in this situation, and she wasn't sure about the repercussions. Nevertheless she ran towards and picked up the pokeball in which the Gyarados was unceremoniously caught, and threw it towards the other serpents. "P-please use Thrash!" She commanded the emerging serpentine form.

While the result was for the most part successful, Cathode did not appreciate at all the negatives that came with it. Suzie took an unprecedented amount of damage from a single bite, and they had lost their foothold. They were already in too deep though so she clutched her opposide side with one hand for reassurement, while putting the other one on Suzie. "The longer we stay, the better. Hang on a bit longer. Just gotta keep covering Nicaea, so keep doing what you were doing." The snake had gotten the grasp by now, and she was actually getting pretty intimidated by all the other serpents eyeing her, so going on the defensive felt just right for her. She used another Curse, and Cathode's Defender also activated. Cathode saw Emanuel throw a ball on the sleeping Gyarados, and she thought that in their hopeless situation, any chance to reduce the enemy count, was a viable tactic. So she did just the same and after shakily getting back on her feet, took a pose and threw an aether ball on the other sleeping gyarados, hoping for the best. Maybe getting captured would lift their frenzy and empowerment. It was at that moment that she saw that they were not alone, as three new people, obviously cadets, had come and commanded their own partners to attack the gyaradoses. Individually they didn't seem like much, but maybe as a combined team they would be able to dish some meaningful damage. She tried to address the strangers normally, but her familiar nervousness encompassed her. "I-I haven't seen you before, b-but I'm so gl-glad that you g-guys came!" She shouted at them, and immediately got embarrased at her own self, and and looked down on the ground as if waiting for it to tell her how to fix her awful first impression. [Suzie used Curse] [Cathode's defender activated] [Cathode threw an Aether Ball on the other sleeping Gyarados]

Having been used to Suzie all this time, Cathode was not as intimidated as a girl her age should have been at the sight of 2 of these gigantic sea serpents. But this didn't mean she didn't recognize their significant threat. She also realized that the more of them that keep coming, the more pressured Suzie will feel, and her attacks would lose their edge, so she would be more useful the longer she lasts as a protection for others to deal the damage. "We need to keep them off as long as we can, girl, just keep it up." She said to Suzie, who did as ordered, while giving a dirty look to her adversary. Also Emm ordering a Sleep Powder made her think it would be a good idea in their endeavor to last longer, so she took out her spray and aimed at the gyarados that was about to bite Suzie. Maybe that would give her some more time to beef up without getting hit. [Suzie used Curse] [Cathode used Sporespray on Gyarados 1]

"Huh?" Cathode reacted "A-ah yeah! I have read about them, but had forgotten in the heat of the moment. You got those magikarp so we'll just prep for the big ones. Since they're part flying they won't like rock moves." She placed her hand on Suzie, before saying "Lets go for another curse, girl. We expect big ones soon." She thought of taking Terry on her hug to watch but then thought he might not like seeing his brethren get beat. [Suzie used another Curse]

rejuv offers too much exp already. rare candies are barely needed. wanting to obtain early evolutions beyond the cap is a l u x u r y. not something to design the game upon.

After helping Emm, Cathode said to Suzie "There might not be any difference defensively, but use a Curse... we might need to turn on the offensive later." Suzie grunted and started emitting the faint aura that indicated she was getting beefier and slower. Cathode then released the newly captured magikarp from his confinement. The fish still had tears in his eyes and was pretty uneasy about the turn of events. He started flapping but Cathode had expected that and placed a hand on his side trying to stroke it. The surface was rough and smooth at the same time. A weird sensation. The magikarp seemed to relax, but his one eye from the upper side still stared at Cathode with unease. "There, there. Not so bad now eh? I don't know what made you attack this place with the others, but it didn't seem you liked it. Please forgive Suzie for hurting you, i'm pretty sure she tried her best to be as gentle as possible. And well... " She made a small pout "You kinda attacked us in the first place. All is fine now though! We'll have lots of fun together and you'll be a big strong gyarados in now time!" She smiled at him. This girl had said too much in so little time for the poor little guy to process in his chaotic state, but he had grasped the general meaning that everything would be fine. He completely relaxed and fully accepted her stroking hand, which made Cathode smile some more. "Welcome aboard, Terry." [Suzie used Curse]

Cathode didn't like the prospect of being overrun, however, "E-Emm, i feel like holding out this invasion as long as we can would help the situation as a whole." She looked down at the oddish. "Your friend doesn't seem like she can take another barrage of attacks. H-How about we let Suzie take em instead? She'll barely feel them. " to which comment Suzie perked up taking a smug expression and positioned herself in an arch between them and the fishes before roaring at them tauntingly. "How about we get a higher ground where nicaea can fire from safety?" She said while climbing up the rocky body with ease gained from doing it too many times. Then secured herself and offered her hand to help Emm up.

"T-this is not good!" Cathode stuttered as the newcomers and the old ones just randomly got stronger. "Its possible this might not be a one-time occurence, and they might be continously growing stronger. W-we'd better incapaciatate them while we can!" She quickly fumbled for an aether ball, and then tried to focus the aim she had trained in the academy, before throwing it at the crying fish. "For both our sakes, please accept it..." [Cathode throws an Aether Ball to the bound magikarp]

Cathode could only watch with a poker face as the "threat" was splashing around doing nothing. There were reported more of them coming but.. if all they did was nothing then there was nothing that made them a threat. Regardless, everyone knows what this useless fish evolves into, so she figured she would help one of them get out of its miserable state earlier than normal. She wasted no time in sending out Suzie by just clicking the button of the ball while holding it, and aiming for a spot on the ground. Any further theatrics would probably result in a clumsy accident. The big snake spent a moment to get accustomed to her surroundings, before her gaze fell upon the splashing magikarps. She made as much of a poker face an Onix can make before looking sideways towards Cathode. Surely even she could just pick em up and throw em back into the sea by herself. Cathode placed her palm on Suzie's side, and said both to her, and Emm "I'm gonna try and catch one of them. Thanks for not attacking them right off the bat, Emm." Then said only to Suzie "Just pick whichever one you like and bind it for me, will you?" Suzie sighed and checked the faces one of which could potentially be her teammate. All three looked equally dumb to her. But at least the right one had probably a shred of intelligence higher to splash around a bit further than the others to avoid getting in the way of the other's splashing. Also it could probably mean that it didn't get along as well with the others compared to the other two? Maybe they would appreciate a change of scenery. Regardless she chose that one, and effortlessly curled the lower half of her body around it, and then tightened just enough to weaken it, careful not to completely squish it. [Suzie uses Bind on the rightmost magikarp.]

Cathode was torn between following the two, and trying to stop them, and staying on the island to try and prevent anything that befell it in case they left it unattended. Ultimately what sealed the deal for her was what she knew she could do better, considering she has a big rock snake. "If I had a faster pokemon that was not extremely vulnerable to water, I-I would have ran after them and try to stop them, b-but I am more suited to staying back and trying to protect the place in case anything happens." Her gaze fell upon the frogadier that was rushing into the sea. "N-new friend? He seems quite worked up about the situation. Is he related to this incident? I remember those two saying about giving you a pokemon that was well-prepared for this. M-maybe you need to trust his judgment this time."

"Y-yeah, I don't think Suzie will be able to traverse through the building interior swiftly. Even I would have been faster." She stood silent for a while, thinking, then eventually talked. "Maybe those with the faster pokemon could try to catch up to her and chase her in a way where she would end up to an ambush I could set up with Suzie? Rock Tomb sounds like the perfect attack for that."

"B=break his arm? That's mean!" Cathode reacted, but then lowered her head and mumbled "Why does always nothing go according to plan..." . After a bit of silence though she jerked her head up again and said, "A-anyway, d-does anyone know the way to the aquarium or s-should I put it on GPS?"

Cathode, who had partly reverted to her past silent self after that whole incident, mulling about the happenings, and trying to make some sense out of them, could only nod, feeling that she was more deprived of good options, than the one who was bound and deprived of freedom. She ran a finger over Suzie's ball, as a way to calm herself and mentally prepare for what was to come.
