Hello! My move in last run was to freeze her field with blizzard and then just sweep her with an electric mon (sylvally with electric memory in fact) . The thing is is Amaria is very strong but relies a lot on the field, so my advice is to modify it, and then the fight is easy.

If you mean the clown glitch in Agate i never wanted to use it. As for the hiker, you said that if pre renovation you give him the house, post renovation he'll give you the choice item, right ? Never heard of that, and i'm around for some years now, and i did the onyx event in a couple of runs, never saw the hiker again post renovation. I'll check again.

I'am pretty sure the other item is not available yet. According the item guide in this section you can only have one, received by aqua/magma team leader, at least for the current version of the game.

Well, as for starters Charizard and Infernape ar my favorites. Charizard because i started to play when gen 1 came out and has been my favorite one since then and you know ... is a fire dragon. Infernape is fun and very usefull in this game: a huge movepool, can be play Attack, spe attack or mixed, it is fast, and a good fighting type is very usefull in the game. As for field effects, look for the field effects read-out. This notes tell you all you need to know about a field so you can either use it to your advantage either destroy/modify it. Good luck !
