Last time, I let you right in the middle of the action. Well I have an excuse : I wouldn't use another post for almost ten pictures. Of course, I'm constantly calculating how many images I'm screening. Which forces me to sacrifice some for the greater good. Enough talking about my writing life, lets go! *Shinyrio uses Explorer Kit* ... AH! Finally retrieved this topic. Didn't knew it could have been so far in 4 months. Oh, sorry, you probably wonder what happened? Well let me first introduce this properly : Fimbulvetr, the Ice type Monorun Season 2 : The Second Winter Season 2? Yeah, there's a looooong time since the last episode, and I think it would be more appropriate to split this into another Season. That makes it more... official. So, let me explain, why I stopped updating for a while.... To make it simple, I was lacking both time, resources aaaand the motivation to do it. Especially the motivation. Ya know, it's hard to continue when you can't upload your images anymore, when you are very busy IRL, and, after this... try unsuccessfully to restart this seeing how many time it will take me again.. But I can't let this run unfinished. I worked on this for a lot of time, plus I'm not even halfway to the end... there's so much to do. And other people I know want this Monorun to be complete... Well as complete as it can be. That leads to this. I'm back for now! And ready to fight again. I still need a better uploader, but the motivation has returned. That being said, let's go for this brand new Episode :

There's one point I can't really understand about the Flower Field : are the stage increasing over time too, or only when a Stage augmenting move is performed? Nonetheless, I think Sawsbuck can potentially be pretty strong too, If used correctly I mean, he can have access to Chlorophyll, he has good Grass-type attacks (like Horn Leech, and Petal Blizzard through Nature Power), a good Bug attack (Megahorn), some ways to increase the Stage level, through Nature Power (Growth), and the more gimmick, but not less useful Rain dance (which could be useful, not only to prevent the field being destroyed, and also reducing further the fire weakness). Said Rain dance could be induced if you switch first with a Politoed for exemple. But it would be risky.

Here we are guys. Today, the 25th of April, a new field was showcased by Amethyst. A blooming and ever-growing place known as the Flower Field! If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is the link to understand everything about it : The Flower Field You must be asking yourself "What the purpose of this topic?". Then let me tell you something. There are to ways to deal with Fields in our dear Reborn Region. On way is, of course, destroy it, kill it with fire, or simply replacing it with the field you create (Mostly the Mist or the Grassy Terrain). This is quite a brutal way, though effective, and must be respected. And then there is the smart way : abusing it and using it at our own advantage with Pokemons specifically trained for this! That's what I want to discuss with you. That's why I create this topic : for anyone, any player, to expose their ideas about their trump cards/team comps/whatever. In other words, to brainstorm. Time for us to harvest the ideas form our brains and to comment these ideas! Let your mind speak. And of course, don't talk about Fire! I know it's the answer of all the problems, but let's see first if anything else can succeed! Well, let's go! PS : I don't really know if I'm allowed to do this, and moreover, to post this at this place. Anyways, I think it will please some people to speak about this field freely!

Well, if I have to tell about a Pokemon who is surely a hero. Or in this case, a heroine. It would be my unstoppable Avalugg, from my MonoIce challenge! She struggled a lot, I had to raise her defense and her attack to another lvl of possibilities, but she tanked every hit from THE Garchomp. She survived like a boss, and finally One-Shot him with a Powerful Avalanche, despite the field! This, guys, is the brand of true heroes! Not only for that, but also for decisives victories against a handful quantity of Fighting trainers, thanks to her tanking.

And this is it : the final part! That's finally here! The end of the 15th Episode of this Ice Monorun! What an Episode, dear Reborn followers! A good part of the scenario has been covered, and the challenges were up to their reputation. This is surely one of the hardest part of this game, for an ice trainer like me. But I think I took care of it pretty well. Well, i hope you enjoyed it. See you next time!

Technically, you can have access to the Power Items as soon as you gain access to Lapis, if you are lucky (or know which day is windy, so you can programm your day) If you do the quests when they are avalaible, this is a piece of cake. That being said, I think it would be a better idea to up them into the Department store. This is quite early, I think. Well, enough talked about that. You can buy Power Items in the Obsidia Department Store. You need to access the 4th floor to get them. Which means you need at least 3 stickers from various secondary quests. I do these quests as a part of my run, but you can also have all the infos concerning Stickers here. Have an ice day! (Bad pun spotted)

Part 2 And here ends another episode of my Ice Monotype. As you see, what I did earlier had a huge impact of what happens now! That's quite unfair, I acknowledge this. And I wont do this again. Except if the increasing difficulty justifies doing this. That being said, hope you enjoyed the episode. Good night.

Well, I supposed it was, of course. I've made some episodes since this one, and well... as you'll see, the results of only these 3 Pokemon... is absolutely horrible! That's why, when all of this will end, I will ask for a rule for all Monotypes challenges : to not allow Power Items before a certain point (Maybe 8th or 9th Badge). Because it's not fun at all, and is absolutely time eating. That being said, welcome to this new Episode of : Fimbulvetr, the Ice type Monorun Last time, I beated Shade... And by Beating, I mean "Destroying everything in his goddamn team". And then the most important part of this challenge, as I think, begins in this chapter. It's just because I try a new formula, since I have less time than expected. Don"t worry, it's just I want to shoot more scenario at once, instead of publish each time I completed a part of the game. Oh, you know, guys, I know where are all the Ice Pokemon I need : we have a superb (But a little bit incomplete : Cryogonal is missing in Ametrine for exemple) guide in the post-it above. If I can reformulate my thought : I intend to take Sneasel egg if it is really the egg I should receive normally. I just want to ask you, in case I don't have it, if I should reroll in Request-a-mon, or not. But, if you mean this, well, seems I'll try to beat Shelly with my current team.
