How to make a phone call:
1. Sit on your bed for an hour practicing what you will say while avoiding thinking about the call.
2. Pick up your phone.
3. Forget what you were going to say
4. put down your phone and repeat step 1
5. pick up the phone and force yourself to dial and call the number.
6. Quickly hang up the instant it goes to voicemail because you forgot what you were going to say.
7. repeat steps 1 and 5.
8. mutter incoherently to the voicemail.

Did my surgeon really have to use the most un-erasable marker in existence to mark where they were operating? I dont think it's possible to get this mark off my ear

Honestly, scars just suck.

I don't mind them myself, as long they're not in plain sight. (In my face, or something.)
Then again, you're probably talking about a scar from your surgery, or something. Never had one of those. Only had small scars from cuts etc. Most of them already "disappeared" (Can't see them if I search for 'em.)

I watched it with my father, and I think it was the first star wars movie he's enjoyed since the original trilogy . It was nice to finally hear him talk about a movie positively, he could be a movie critic for all the hate he tends to pile on to them lol Good food is good life. I can't wait to get out of here so I can get back to eating whatever I want.

With the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, it seems like people are starting to settle down into the new year. So what have you been up to recently? Any good books or movies you've watched recently? Any unexpected changes in your life? I've spent the beginning of this year prepping for a surgery and have been in the hospital the last few days recovering, so I'm bored to tears. I watched the new "Arrival" movie in December and have been attempting to read my way through the short story which inspired it whenever I haven't had a headache. Hope you guys have been having a more enjoyable time than I have this new year!

It's my last day with hair this long. This is what happens when I don't cut it for a semester, and tomorrow I head back to being almost but not quite bald. I figured I should preserve this hair for posterity somewhere.

I've recently been forced into a different universe from the one I was born in.. The singular difference between this one and my previous one is that the word "condone" has the exact opposite meaning. Everything else is exactly the same.

oh no... I haven't even thought about something like this and I've had all night. I guess I've been thinking about smiling a lot lately. I made a bit of a resolution about a month or two ago to just smile more, and I think I'll just cop out and carry that on as my resolution. A stray smile can make someone's day and that's good enough for me.
