  1. Just so you know, Ken's featured replay leads to the same battle as Jessica's (which is a battle with Jessica). Might be something that needs edited.
  2. >TFW I'm featured in 3 matches, yet none of them are the match vs. Carmine (i.e. the one where I win with a single 1% mon). Ah well, at least the win vs. Vinny makes me feel better about being rekt by Amon and Blanca XD
  3. ...huh, I can make some shenanigans now. Yay~ [Unvote] YinYang [Eliminate] Roswell
  4. ...can we get an update on vote totals? I could check myself, but I'm lazy :/ As for the whole Assassin thing, I'm inclined to think that Amber's not the Assassin, if only because I think they'dve opened the day with that murder if they truly wanted to, so as to not put attention on themselves. However, the main alternative to lynching them is me, so eh. I'll see how the day progresses, and perhaps change my vote later.
  5. TFW Nothing happens. Since we have to lynch someone, and have literally nothing to go off of, random vote it is! [Eliminate] YinYang9705
  6. Hmm... guess I'll go for this, then (Bold indicating the move that needs to be kept to qualify):
  7. Fair enough. The fact that there are some one type only rulings does at least indicate fairly rigorous testing, and so long as an eye is being kept on how they're affecting the actual matches, rather than just the testing ones, it seems reasonable. RIP Mira & Jessica getting nothing tho
  8. A few questions/observations: 1. When are these changes going into effect? I'd assume it'd be as of the next Redemption session, but clarity would be appreciated. 2. If you don't think that these 'mons are powerful enough to require outright banning, why aren't they available to challengers? Not complaining (although I want to use Celebi), just curious why this decision was made. 3. Will there be some form of compensation for trainers with regard to these new 'mons (i.e. allowing us to change one of the 'mons in our team to reflect the new threats our teams have to deal with)? 4. If it's not too much to ask, can we get similar explanations as above from the team for all the newly unbanned 'mons? In particular, why a 'mon gets unbanned for one of its types but not the other. 5. You've said you've tested them. In what way(s) were they tested? My overall opinion of this is sceptical but optimistic. I feel like the 'mons were banned for a reason, and making them leader only is super sketchy, especially given that (as far as I can tell) there's not been much interaction with people outside the league on this, which means I'm not sure how it'll affect the average challenger. However, I'm equally aware that my connection to the league is limited (I'm not on the Discord, and I only really visit Showdown during the weekends), and the fact that you're aware that this is a work in progress is a positive sign. I feel like, however, this really should've been something that was shown (in a post like this so everyone participating was aware) to be what you were doing during the break week in the first place.
  9. Not sure how often I'll actually be able to challenge Mythos, since I'll be doing Redemption as well, but it's time to sink or swim, I guess. If you could use their secondary types are the individual colours, with blue for the center. Sprite:

  11. TFW you expect to end up finding no good information as Tracker, then end up getting info which leads to 2 mafia lynches. Also TFW I'm yet to start as a non-town role although saying that will now put immediate suspicion on me for the next time I play. I appreciate the MVP award, although I'll admit roleclaiming as early as I did was probably a huge gamble (and I'm surprised neither mafia tried to counter my claim). Anyway, GJ fellow Keepers, and thanks to our Storyteller for providing such an interesting game!
  12. Well this discussion has made my vote choice rather easy. [Eliminate] Dark Rogue As to why, it's due to everyone here actually speaking. Since all 5 remaining members have spoken, it stands to reason that the silencer was prevented from performing their night action (since their previous strategy of silencing me would still deprive the town of information, even if it was obvious I was being silenced). As the lone person to claim a roleblocking role thus far (and only Greninja and Dark Rogue having not claimed a role, IIRC), sosobean stating that they roleblocked Rogue thus means that either sosobean is lying (which they'd have no reason to unless they were the remaining mafia) or Dark Rogue is the mafia. However, I tracked sosobean the night I was silenced, and they visited Alphagar, not me. Thus, we can deduce that sosbean is not the silencer and, since the silencer is the only mafia member left, they are not mafia. Ergo, Dark Rogue is the prime suspect for the final mafia member. ...I am curious as to why Greninja is so convinced otherwise, however. And the fact that both Hongaarse and Greninja are claiming the same role is really unhelpful.
  13. I mean, I didn't explicitly say you were the roleblocker, although that does help to know. I have a reasonable idea of who I'm voting for, but I have a couple of questions for @Myrmidon Divergent first (apologies if they are answered elsewhere): 1. Is Dark Rogue's assertion (i.e. that a lone mafia member cannot perform both their night action and the faction kill) correct? There's probably evidence for this, but since I don't have all the information, I can't be sure either way. 2. Can a roleblocker block the night kill? Again, there's probably evidence for an answer, but I don't have it. Either way, I'm fairly certain I have a plan
  14. Nice shot, Amine. Now (if my math is correct) there's only a single Valiant member left (IIRC, Dive said that there were 4 of each Mafia). I also know that the last role is a Silencer (since that's why I've kept quiet the past 2 days, as can be proven by the fact that I wasn't modkilled). In terms of who that last Valiant member is, my tracking isn't an enormous amount of help, since 2 of my 3 tracking targets were Amine and ECT, respectively. However, what I can tell you is that, if my numbers are correct, sosobean is absolutely not the Valiant member (since they targetted Alphagar the night I was first silenced). Beyond that, I guess we have to wait until we see if anyone appears to be silenced. BTW, thanks to whoever the Blacksmith was for giving me a vest N5. Immediately got used up, but it did save me
  15. Either someone got a legit vest (meaning we have someone who can make them), Lumina went for Megagun as well, Lumina was lazy... there's a few potential reasons why there was only one death. The implication from the flavour would suggest that Lykos is Valiant, meaning the ratio after today is 9:2:2:1, which seems salvagable.
  16. Not gonna waste time this day phase. Spent last night confirming Lykos' guilt (since it's entirely possible last night's visit of the victim was a coincidence) and, what do you know, he visited Megagun, who ended up dead. [Eliminate] LykosHand
  17. I guess if we're getting Quinnox now anyway, and getting Lykos later on, I suppose I can deal with this strategy. [Unvote] LykosHand [Eliminate] Quinnox
  18. If it'll get me this, then I guess I'll tell you. I'm the Tracker, and Lykos visited Corso last night. Given that Corso is now dead, it seems like a reasonable assumption to me that LykosHand is at least suspicious enough to consider lynching.
  19. Well, judging from the info I got during the night, I have a reasonable lynch target this time. [Eliminate] LykosHand
  20. >TFW Hooligan says that his power works on the last person who visited him, when it's the last person who he visited. ...well, crap. My bad there, Hooligan. Honestly thought that's how the power worked, so sorry for forcing it upon you. That being said, we do know that either Jace or Megagun is Mafia now (since either Megagun was truthful about the alignments or they weren't). Since we benefit more from having Megagun as a villager (and both possibilities are equally valid), I'll take my chances, and we can lynch Megagun tomorrow if Jace flips village. [Unvote] Hooligan [Eliminate] Jace Stormkirk
  21. Given how the role Hooligan has claimed to have works upon his death, and said role's effect is currently most likely pointed at a Mafia member, his hesitance to use his gun on Jace when it'll provide us the most information (it either reveals the fabricator, kills a mafia member, or helps reveal a mafia lead) is incredibly suspicious to me. As such, in the absence of any other information, and considering that Seal did respond to get out of modkill range, I'm happy to shift my vote. [Unvote] Seal [Eliminate] Hooligan
  22. Seems like the optimal strategy would be for Hooligan to just shoot Jace, then. Either: a) The gun backfires, killing Hooligan and (assuming he was honest about the Oracle ability) we get to know who the fabricator was (and hence we have a lynch target). b ) The gun works and Jace is revealed as town: We know that either Hooligan or Mega (or both, possibly) are lying (and are thus mafia), and we lynch one of them. c) The gun works and Jace is revealed as non-town: We either killed a mafia member, or killed a third-party, and we can then proceed to lynch Venus (who would at that point have been proven to be lying about their role). With this in mind, then, it doesn't seem like there's a reason for a village Hooligan to not shoot, since trading a villager for info on a mafia member seems like a valid trade for me. This does assume that Oracle works on death regardless of how that death was achieved, which isn't confirmed by Dive yet, but I have no reason to believe otherwise.
