  1. Due to the absence of any other information, and the fact that they'll be modkilled if they don't speak more anyway, I'm voting for Seal so that they'll actually contribute. The quietness may also be starting to get suspicious, but maybe I'm just paranoid. [Eliminate] Seal I do find it slightly odd that Venus voted for themselves, given that they're claiming survivor, but I can believe it's just to keep out of the vote (which, admittedly, is kinda off as-is, as survivor kinda benefits more from helping a side to end the game quicker, but w/e).
  2. For clarity, if he got a fake gun, and it killed him, the last person to visit him (i.e. probably the person that gave him the gun the night before) would still be revealed, right?
  3. I mean, since my action failed, all I have to give you is my role and profile. I'm hesitant to give my role, since I fear it'll mean me either getting killed or roleblocked by one of the mafias for all eternity, but if it helps I suppose I'll let people know that I'm playing as my own profile.
  4. ...then why do the whole "vote for Drakayle" thing during Day 1? I'm not saying you're lying (and the role mentioned would also explain why my action failed, if not Drakayle's), but there were better ways of profileclaiming that would seem less suspicious than using your vote.
  5. @Hooligan I believe the guns can be fired during the day, but it'd be something that needed to be checked with Dive. And yeah, it seems like Venus could have been detained. Which tells us almost nothing, given that two people still died during the night, but it's something to note, at least.
  6. Sure. I have no problems saying that I targetted Venus. Given the conflict with Eviora, who proved to be with the Arcade, it seemed logical to focus on them.
  7. That's possible, Hooligan, though I'd argue it's still less likely. It'd require both Lumina and Valiant to have went for the same person, which in a group this size seems unlikely (there's also roleblock possibilities, but anyway). And you were specifically told you were roleblocked, and not simply that your action failed? If so, that would lead more credence to the target being detained theory, although it may still be unlikely, since it would either depend on me and Drakayle targeting the same person (which I'll admit is still possible) or multiple detainers.
  8. OK, first things first, by the looks of it, Lumina's Night Kill hit Team Valiant and Valiant's hit the Onyx Arcade. Either that or there's some transporting/redirecting shenanigans going on, which seems unlikely. Secondly, just so that everyone knows, my action failed last night. Given my power, I have reason to believe I was roleblocked, since I don't believe anyone would have immunity to it. Could be wrong on that front, though. Thirdly, given how Eviora was proven to have been telling the truth regarding her role and allegiance, my initial suspicions are firmly on Venus, although if evidence came up during the night to place someone as a higher priority, I'd be willing to change that stance. Not going to vote yet either, considering the day just started.
  9. Hmm... it seems like the vote is between Venus and Eviora. Right now, both are equally suspicious in my eyes, but I feel like I get more potential information out of seeing what allegiance Venus holds, so atm that's where my vote is going. [Eliminate] Venus If more information comes to light, I am more than willing to change this.
  10. I'm... iffy on the concept of voting for ourselves, since realistically all someone needs to do is come in at the end and vote for someone other than themselves and the entire plan is ruined. Given that they could play it off as simply only reading the last vote post and bandwagon'ing, it's entirely possible they get away with it. Not got a better solution though, so I'll wait to see if one comes up. On the issue of referring to our roles, could we not offset the issue by having everyone profile claim? It's unlikely to have counterclaims (since knowing whose profile you're playing as wouldn't mean you know their role and allegiance, so there shouldn't be a reason to not be honest about it) and it would make it easier to refer to what roles we think a person has (since we can just refer to the person rather than who they're pretending to be). It's fine if people don't want to (given some of the suspicions going around, I'd understand some people wouldn't want to for fear of putting suspicion on themselves), it's just a potential option.
  11. Rules state that a tie in votes result in a no lynch, for reference, Venus. Just to clear up confusion.
  12. Bouncing off of what Corso says, I suggest either role/ability (referring to who a person is and what they do respectively) or identity/role in order to distinguish the two.
  13. The username sounds rather Mafia-ish (fairly certain that's not a word, but w/e), but I'm not gonna condemn the person with that role on the username alone, since it's entirely possible the role powers are based on role they often play (as Amber suggests), as well as their overall personality whilst playing the game. Speaking of, if it's not too much to ask, Hooligan, do you mind telling us which person you are playing as? Judging by what you said, it's somewhat clear you're not using your own name, so I can't help but be curious as to who you are playing as.
  14. @LykosHand ...why do I keep forgetting that? The point of waiting until getting better info still stands, I guess.
  15. Yeah, those numbers make sense. Given that we start during the day, I'm inclined to not lynch anyone, since I have literally no information to go on, but I'll hold off on putting it in as an actual vote until later on, after some discussion has occurred.
  16. TFW you're about to ask about why someone's role is already revealed, then remember that having the role revealed is literally the entire point of the role >.> Anyway, are we to be given any information on the faction split numbers? Also, I just noticed that the "Keepers of the Onyx Arcade" are referred to as the "Uninformed Minority", which is either a typo or rather concerning.
  17. Just FYI, the Jasper's featured replay links to a match from Fabian instead. Otherwise, an excellent report, Jessica
  18. I'm game for playing some meta-Mafia. Fair warning that I may not be as active on weekends as weekdays, since I'm doing Redemption. Should still be safely within the post requirement, but just in case. For reference though, can I just DM you my wanted roles? It's noted as being OK for the role actions, but not for submitting, and I'm just wanting to be sure.
  19. @Megagun In the absence of anyone else, I'll put myself forward for the court.
  20. @Lord Drakyle Since the Witches all know who the other Witches are, they can use all of their votes on a single one of them and, since the Court is not aware of the roles or allegiances of its other members, get into the King's Court and report to the Coven. Ergo, to counteract this, the town needs to attempt to select 2 people to focus our votes on, so that we ensure that the 2 people who are elected are likely town.
  21. For the moment, in the absence of anything else, Vote No One I guess I'll offer myself up as someone for everyone to vote for? I'm fine backing off if other people have better reasons for doing so, but since we need town roles in there anyway (and since, as was pointed out otherwise, the Witches basically get a free one if we don't agree on 2 people), it's worth the risk.
  22. OK, it seems like me and Anti_Hero have disagreements on whether or not a role is useful for court, since the role I hadn't considered especially helpful is in his list. I guess, by Anti's definition, I would be helpful for court, then? Hadn't really thought about it like that. (Not gonna reveal more than that for obvious reasons) I suppose, with that in mind, then, I have to ask a few questions regarding the King's Court: 1. This seems like an obvious one, but am I right in assuming that every "living player" refers to everyone in the game, when it comes to voting to the court? 2. Is it also correct to assume that the 2 players elected by the living players are elected during the first night, like with the King's decision?
  23. Personally, I'm in the same scenario as Alistair, where I don't feel my role becomes significantly more useful as a member of the court. So I'll accept being added to court if everyone else wants it, but I won't fight for it. FWIW, I do agree with Anti_Hero's suggestion that Acolyte and Oracle should vote for their known clears.
  24. I'm up for this. Just a few things I've noted, though: 1. In the What is Witch Hunt section, it says the Day Phase lasts 48 hours, but in the How Does Voting Work section, it says it lasts 72 hours. Some clarification on this would be appreciated. 2. I know it's a minor thing, but the bit referring to asking some roles to submit acts early in the day probably shouldn't have the from in it, since it implies that these roles submitting earlier (i.e. doing what you requested) makes the game run less smoothly.
  25. Inb4 I end up getting 0 badges In terms of trainer card, can I get the RWBY template with this sprite (because Satori is best Touhou): You should probably have the name for the trainer card be RosWellNow, since that's my Showdown name.
