Visrii paced up to Halley as she left the building, with a faint smile. "Glad you're alive, Halley. A member down already wouldn't have helped. What did you find in there?" He considered asking for the comms crystal back, but he decided to let her keep it. They might need to communicate after all, and he had more than enough to communicate with others.

"Just call me by my name. Visrii." Visrii looked at the 'angel'. "Hell, I've seen demons smarter than you." He gestured toward the residence. "Halley and I were investigating electronic Eyes. I can't go in because of a blight." Visrii watched the Bullet approach the building. "The new recruit looks like he's doing something." Visrii then walks off toward the Pirate.

Ha. 'Sir'. That's a title I haven't heard in a long time. "Halley's reported, there's a blight contained in that residence. Halley's immune to human illnesses, and so she's investigating the area in place of humans." Visrii explained. "The residence seems to be containing a hub for electronic Eyes, and she's there to take it down." Visrii tilted his head and examined at the new recruit. Looks like he's another one of those metal AI people. "If you're immune to diseases, get in there and help Halley. A pair is safer than one." And he gestured toward the building. He then added, "Don't call me 'sir'. That's not a title I retained."

"-Wah!" Wyvis reflexively grabs onto a railing, but he lands with a small thunk nonetheless. He stands up again, examining the sudden shift in vision. The entire world was shifted, the shaft walls on his feet and the walls becoming ceilings. The power of technology is truly amazing... though it is perhaps not time to admire the opposition's advancements now. He checks over his teammates. "No-one is hurt? Ah, praise the sun we all are unharmed." Wyvis points down the elevator shaft that is now a tunnel. "Looking at the sunny side, now we do not have to do climbing, ha ha ha!" With a hearty laughter, he sets off adventurously into the shaft.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Oh. Alright, that's fine too. But please, don't strain yourself. Kalva looks at Meggie a little worried, though he lets Meggie walk on her own. Perhaps they needed more time to trust each other. After all, she had quite a tough day today, must have been stressful. <Kalva's Keen Eye!> He looks around and notices a yellow object poking out of the ground. Curious, he walks back and leans down, examining the object. -
"Acknowledged." Visrii motioned others to follow him as he looked at where Halley went, and though it was risky leaving people behind, this was up to Halley. And he'd have to trust her. There was no choice in the matter. He walked along the rubbish-filled boulevard, secured the new comms crystal inside his shoulder-pad and made his way back.

Visrii abruptly stopped climbing and stood on the wall horizontally, the rope and knife holding him up as he mulled over the new information. "Disease?" Visrii then recalled the claw marks in front of the building. It must have been some kind of warning. Shit. I'll have to stay out of this building. "Hmm... I will have to stay out of this one. Good luck, Halley. You're on your own in this one." It annoyed Visrii that he'd have to leave a team-member to the deposition of whatever was inside in there, but it would be outright stupid for Visrii to jump in a contamination zone without a clear objective. Slowly, he lowered himself back down to the ground. Visrii came back to the front of the building and addressed the pair that had arrived. "Turn back and go to the Pirate. Halley's gone in a quarantined zone and unless you want to catch some random virus, it's best to turn back."

Visrii burned and stashed away his weapon. He'll have to climb the building if he was to try and get in. Spotting the door that the drone called 'Deus' flew in, he pulls out two knives from his belt and ties a tiny, compact rope onto it, serving as a fail-safe if he were to fall. Alright. Been a while since I've climbed. With the roped knife in hand, he started scaling the side of the wall, slowly but consistently. Every now and then, he wedged the knife into a crack or pipe to move the safety point up.

"Thank the sun that it was not yet another trap. That would have been unfortunate. Hmm... I can't see any other option than the elevator. We will have to climb the shaft up." Wyvis waits a little bit for his teammates to get ready, then takes a deep breath and starts climbing up the shaft. Wyvis slowly maneuvers himself to see if there is anything trap-looking contraptions.
-
"Don't get yourself killed. Losing you will be unpleasant." Visrii warned. She didn't sound like she was in danger... though taking down Eyes was an important part of the mission, and leaving a team member alone was not an ideal position. Visrii sensed someone coming and saw the new recruit and the 'angel' coming. "Blackflame Visrii." He said simply. "An acquaintance." The door was a bigger matter involved. Though it looked like he could force his way in eventually, that would take too much time for Halley to be in trouble. Visrii checked the door one last time, before looking for other ways in.

Visrii stayed put and looked at the old apartment. There was something going on that he could not see, he was sure of it. "Halley. Can you see anything in there? I'm locked out."

Wyvis dusts himself off. "Thank you, friend! You are a saint!" Wyvis, a little unsteady on his feet from the sudden boulder, bows in gratitude in Sachi's direction. "Well. It seems that we are trapped, yes, but I see there is another elevator shaft!" Wyvis looks around a little more. "The last elevator was a trap, and I suspect there will be many more like it. So far, the climbing the shaft seems to be the only way out."
-
"Halley! Calm yourself!" Visrii was severely alarmed by her sudden change in behaviour. "No, it is completely normal in my vision. Nothing noteworthy but a flying metal object." Visrii paced up and caught up to Halley. Something fucky was going on here. "Is this the right place? The place where the Eyes converge?" ...Deus. God in Old Tongue. He didn't get the cryptic message, but clearly, something he didn't see was going on here.

Visrii silently charged his weapon. "Huh. I'll pass. I'll stick with regular bandages." "I sense danger. Get ready." Visrii then sensed something... off. "Halley?"

Wyvis looks curiously around the lobby. "Hmm... all our friends must be at an important event! Come on, let us hurry, we do not want to be late." Wyvis whispers, as he walks rather briskly around to examine his options, then tries the public elevator shaft button once or twice, then checks the room for a friendly map or signs.

"If they can see us, they'll see us talking. Worse, intercept sound. Too risky considering circumstances. We have no choice but to still rendezvous at the Pirate, it is the only point we've predetermined. But what to do with these Eyes, that's another problem..." Visrii continued to walk around, taking out a short bandage and wrapping it around some of his wounds. "Fucking hell." He swore. Mixing vocal speech and telepathic speech was tough work, but under watch, he knew better than just stand around and gawp at each other. They'll know. "You have any medicine on you?" "How many Eyes are there?"

Damn it. The flares. They've pinned us, haven't they? Guess these 'radio frequencies' are like electric Eyes. Shit. Visrii knew the escape plan wasn't going to be smooth sailing. If their pursuers had Eyes throughout their path, then it would be more of a problem, and they could be trapped in a rat race if they weren't careful. "Halley." Visrii said in a low voice and swiftly slipped a faintly shimmering blue comms crystal in her pocket whilst covering his underhand passing with his cloak. "Can you hear me?" Visrii 'said' telepathically without moving his lips. "Don't move your lips. Speak through your mind."

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Thank the star... she's not hurt so badly. Kalva pulls the Beedrills out of the mud gently, and leans them up against one of the trees. It didn't look like it was in life threatening danger, so he felt safe to leave them there. Hopefully, later they will regain their energy and fly back to their hives. Kalva then examines Meggie carefully. Was she hurt? She didn't seem like she sustained permanent damage, but it was not safe to judge her health solely on visuals - lessons from the Academy still held, even in a foreign world. He turns his back and offers a piggyback ride for Meggie. Best not take chances and make her walk her way back. -
Visrii burns and stashes his weapon away and catches up to Halley, in time to stop the storm of flares she is trying to send up. "We trying to lose them or what?" Visrii growls. "Sending up flares is screaming for our followers to locate us." Visrii looks ahead at the path they were taking. "Go to the Pirate. It's the only location the entire group knows, and our group should be smart enough to rendezvous there if we do split."

Blood and adrenaline flowing freely from his wounds, he fought the urge to fight on and, producing a trap crystal, chucks it on the ground as he runs toward the edge of the building. Completely ignoring the fire exit, he produces a silver string and clears the railings in a leap, soaring through the stench filled air. As he descends freefall, the string snatches the railing and slows Visrii's descent. With a twist, Visrii wedges the blade end of Climax on the side of the building to further reduce his speed, sparks flying off as metal meets metal. He lands with a thud - though he's not harmed, it's a tough landing. To top his escape off, Visrii takes out the detonation crystal and crushes it, filling the rooftop with temporary blinding light. Hah... hah... the alleyways, was it? Visrii groans a little, and jogs toward the alleyways closest to the fire escape. The old float string dupe party trick. Many had tried to catch him, many times he had used this method as an emergency escape. And it had never failed to work. He leans against an alleyway wall, waiting for the others to arrive as he recovers from the battle.

With a skin that tough... must be dragonhide or something. Fuck, this will go for a little while. Visrii follows through with his sweep by turning and breaking the man's guard through a sharp jab with his blunt side, then kicking the man's leg in an attempt to down him. Death Mark (Increases damage taken by target by DEX% for 3 turns, 3*DEX for Visrii's attack.)

Fuck! Should've expected that. Visrii leaps back up and wordlessly retaliates with a Sharp Sweep against the man's arm, targeting to disarm the guy. (2d4+1.25DEX, bypass 75% RES)

Visrii considers his options, when he hears a blast from the elevator shafts. "Hell. I was thinking why there wasn't a fight around here." He summons Climax and gets ready for a battle. The cold steel-blue halberd of his weapon starts glowing with lightning, and he joins the fight upstairs with a surprise power sweep, not actually hitting the man but coming darn close. "You've got a problem with one of our members?" Visrii growls.

Visrii yawns and stretches from the 'DNA' processing. To be honest, he didn't care that this 'councillor' called high stakes. The money wasn't his, so the repercussions weren't his. Besides, he dealt enough to be used to rip-offs. Ideally, he would neutralise the man and relieve him of his possessions, and find another dealer. But there being only one dealer, well, there wasn't much choice in the matter. And dealers knew it. Visrii turns around and addresses 'Lexiel'. "We got what we wanted, so let's leave. 'fore you decide to 'fix' this place." He adds bitterly. He looks at the new recruit. Hell, he couldn't get in two steps without meeting a new recruit. Whoever was sending them in, they must be quite desperate. He then goes straight to the arms dealer and taking out his credstick, asks the dealer, "Tell me what you've in stock for magic users."

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]
LucidRain replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Kalva's eyes widen in alarm when he notices the Beedrill converge on Meggie. He had to do something! He starts to miss Quina desperately - if only she was with him, then perhaps he could lend aid, or Quina would be able to think of a scheme to somehow help Meggie. But without her, it was like he was left without half of his soul. Only, he had one way to help, and that was to shield Meggie until she managed to recover. He walks briskly towards Meggie, and arms out, stands defiantly against the Beedrill. Please! Don't attack! We have only come here to rescue an injured member... Of course, he couldn't say these things out loud, but he always tried to communicate through spirit, somehow. And even if they were going to attack... he wouldn't blame them. But it was better he was stung than Meggie. He had to protect Meggie, the cost of which he thought none of.
