  1. "Damn. Just when I thought this mission was gonna get interesting." Visrii said. He was completely comfortable with torturing; but if it wasn't necessary to their goal, then it would be pointless. He picked up the grenades, chucking them up and down carelessly, though one could tell he was quite practiced with grenade type weapons. "So these are like void-bombs right?" Visrii inspects the label. "I would have thought just taking out the guards would be much simpler, 'stead of wasting these."
  2. "...huh." Wyvis was rather stunned at the marksmanship, and was a little slow to recover. "Oh, yes. I've have uncovered one of their meeting places, a gathering of sorts. It seems to involve a significant amount of alcohol, in fact." Wyvis grinned. "If the Sun grants us Luck that day, we may not need a sleeping stimulant at all. But yes, it's at [address], any and all assistance would be fantastic!"
  3. "Ha. 80,000 nyuen? I don't give a fuck about payment, as long as I get to kill shitty people." Visrii flicked off a bug on his weapon, then picked up the tablet that was said to have the location of an official. "And an interrogation session, right?" Visrii took quick glances at the tablet and after some time, figured out how to operate it. If anything, he was an observant learner. He had to be, as a Watcher. "I'll get this this guy, then. Any of you want to play 'good guard bad guard'?"
  4. Kalva blushed when he heard the blonde girl giggling, and fumbled his sign. He felt his face redden, and held his sign tighter. Please please please respond quickly.
  5. Kavla smiled at the people playing with the mecha something. Really, without the teamwork of the 3 participants, they wouldn't have been able to outperform the objective. I wonder if PAZ is alright after that? I'm hoping it was another one of those 'virtual faints'. Another thing, however; although the cyberworld looked nice, he really had to go back, now. He needed to check if Quina was alright, even though on multiple occasions she insisted she would be alright. Kalva took out the crumpled paper and wrote, "we won where do we go now" He guessed since they had been given an objective in the panel thing, he assumed that there were people watching from the panels. He held up the message at the panel, hoping he would be noticed and not have to look like an idiot waving at an unresponsive communications panel.
  6. Yes! We did it Aegislash! Kalva beamed and danced around his victorious champion, and proceeded to hug it tightly. The Aegislash, being a couple of weapons, couldn't hug back, but just awkwardly hovered whilst Kalva embraced it. After a couple of moments, Kalva released Aegislash and produced an Aether Ball. Um, Aegi. I'm sorry about this, but is it okay if I return you? After some time, he copied this down on his notebook (though horribly crude). Aegislash didn't answer, and Kalva just took it as a yes. With a burst of light, Aegislash returned. I hope we keep working together, Aegi!
  7. "Burn the real one and give a fake to a local crime syndicate. Throw them off our backs and destroy something that can piss a lot of people off when someone finds it." Visrii shrugs. "Two birds with one stone."
  8. I think the character's a little overpowered, but you're better off asking Murdoc for tweakies. But as an unofficial mastersheet manager here's my take on your character... Scythe of Sky: I know scythes are cool (I have a scythe character as well), but scaling on two stats at once for your basic weapon is waaay overpowered. Only on one, is the limit I believe. Goddess Charms: Waaay overpowered, sorry. You're gonna have to cut it down to say, +1 to Stat every 2 Lvls, or +1 to Stat every 4 in other Stat. Anklet of Wind: Special effects only scale with INT, and only stat bonuses scale with SYN. HDD: CON*LVL will scale like crazy in the later stages, especially with Exh only ticking up by 1 regardless of level, action or stat. I recommend nerfing the buff or scaling a little less. Ageless Entity and The Unbowed are both fluffs; please don't include them in perks or flaws, include them in your description. (It makes my day as MS manager a tad easier ) Blinding Visage: A tad overpowered, (considering 'blinded' as 'stunned). I recommend increasing cooldown or higher checks. There might be more tweaks or not, depending on Murdo's judgement, but the above is the list of what I think is needed to change. Either way, don't get disheartened by the nerfs and checks. We all went through the process, and if you're dissatisfied, Murdo is usually there to help you out~ Welcome to Trespassers, though! I look forward to RPing with you. May the flames guide your way. Edit: So here's a bunch more things that a trusty friend (DragonRage) added: Checks against Resistance is unlikely to succeed, because Resistance is the easiest to buff. Armour Res scaling with DEX/2 is most likely too high. Recommend dropping it to DEX/3 or DEX/4 All gear is really light compared to their attack or defence ratings. Again, nerf the stats or increase weight. Perk that increases AP is most likely going to be rejected. (Others usually have +1 STAT every Lvl) Divine Inspiration gives too high of a buff for a passive. Lvl 2 damage boosts would only grant +Stat damage to personal attacks only, based on GM PC. Recommend making it an Active or nerfing it.
  9. Kalva saw the red energy suddenly turning blue, and the Aegislash relaxing a little. Oh no! Did it... reverse the stat changes? Kalva bit his lower lip. He had made a mistake, using a stat boosting move without thinking before hand. I'm sorry, Aegislash. I'll do my best to make it up for both of us! As if listening to his thoughts, the Aegislash nodded yet again, the red gem still glistening with defiance against the master of this cyber world. Kalva motioned drawing up an imaginary sword, and striking it down. Acknowledging his motion yet again, it cast aside its shield momentarily before glowing in white energy and smashing against the Porygon. Action: Sacred Sword against P-AZ with 160 AP (90BP + 70), bypassing stat changes.
  10. Hey there! I strongly suggest you join the RP's discord, here: https://discord.gg/zRTK9 Here we will be able to help you more
  11. "All this protection for a book." Visrii scoffed from somewhere behind the people. He had woken up so quietly this time that no-one noticed, but he was up and scoffing. He approached Edmond and took out the gun and baton he looted off the guard. "Edmond. You're good with this shit, right?", He said, and handed him the weapons. "This is probably more useful to you than to me anyway."
  12. Emmanuel is in trouble! Kalva got up and quickly looked at the panel. It was on, and flashing; now was his turn! He touched the panel... rising out of a black fog, a sword and shield materialised in front of him. It turned around and faced Kalva, its red jewel on the hilt seemed to watch him, as if observing, waiting. An Aegislash? Kalva wanted to say hello, and ask it its name. He had a habit of just asking any Pokemon's name even though he knew he wouldn't get an answer he understood. He just thought it was polite to. He also wasn't comfortable with giving it directions, or telling it what to do. At least with Quina, they both somehow knew what each were thinking, and never had to tell her to do anything. But this time was different. He knew it was a computer generated Pokemon, not the Pokemon he met and knew back in 02. He will have to instruct it to do something. He crossed his arms in front of him twice, not sure if the Aegislash got the message. The floating weapons simply nodded in acknowledgement, and started to swing around threateningly, all whilst the shield stood directly in front of both of them. After its ritualistic dance, the sword flared in red energy. Kalva smiled confidently. They understood! Okay, let's do this! (Action: Swords Dance, boosting Attack)
  13. Damn... ending of Gates to Infinity hit me so hard...

  14. Oh, man. Another question... I really wish Quina was here... Kalva wrote again, "central 02" Then, satisfied with the response, he wrote under; "where are you from"
  15. "Wow," Wyvis whistled, "Amazing how this world gets over the absence of spells." Pyria would go crazy over all these new findings, if I could somehow take these... though I'm pretty sure the Ios will interfere with a lot of these. In any case, he was best to go back to his training at the gun ranges now, if he was to get his shooting up to a marginal scratch. "Ah, I must continue practicing. Surely, a guardsman will be able to hit a target; an imposter no different." He shoots an entire clip into a 20m range and manages to hit one shot into a margin, and then smiles proudly. "Well, look at that! I'm improving!"
  16. Kalva brightened up and took the pen and paper. Even though he did go to the academy, language was not his strong suit. If he had to play a game of charades, then he would win, 100% of the time. But never did he pay attention in writing classes, making him fall behind, of sorts. Perhaps such was the consequences of hanging around with Pokemon in the dumps too much, he thought. He wrote clumsily on the paper: "Helo my name is Kalva" Then added the extra 'l' on the 'hello' in an after thought. Sign language would have been better... but it was better than being completely silent.
  17. Ah, a test. I'm glad that wasn't a real pokemon; it would have been most unfair for the 3 of us to gang up on one. Kalva smiled and waved meekly at the 3 cadets who had managed to finish the battle so easily. Certainly, they are very good at battling. I wonder if they have encountered real pokemon before?
  18. "Oh, really? I was thinking I would try to glue the image of myself over the card, however I believe your method is much better. Thank you, any kind of help will be appreciated." Wyvis said with a cheerful smile. Yes! Everything was working out quite well, now. Perhaps he needed more practice firing these 'guns', however other than such, plans started to fold in. A prayer stone in his pocket started to glow. "Err... excuse me." He said quickly, and walked quickly over to a quiet corner. It was either Visrii's or one of his Paladin's calling in. He took out the prayer stone. Imbedded in it, was a small, clear crystal, glowing in his palm slightly, as if waiting for a response. He recalled an invention this realm had called 'feletones', or something; this was his equivalent, allowing him to speak to people who had to same 'frequency' over the Beyond. In some ways, it was better than the feletones, since the crystal projected directly into the mind, kind of like telepathy. It was quite rare and expensive, though an anonymous prestige had donated these to his entire squadron. (Conversation with his Paladin here. Skip if not interested) Wyvis breathed a relieved sigh. So no-one was hurt, at least. Only he was dragged into this world, then. Well, as much as he would have preferred jolly cooperation with his Paladins, it would also have put them insignificant danger. They were already risking by allowing Visrii be free already; he didn't need everyone being abducted at once. In any case, he had a case to work with. He returned to the blue scarfed lady. "If I may ask you a question; are you participating in the operation? Surely, as the instructor of these cadets, you must be a talented shooter, a person we would need for this kind of operation."
  19. Kalva was uncomfortable with the fact that there were too many humans in the room. Sure, he knew straight from training that the humans were not in the world going to hurt him, but he simply felt a little more assured having Quina in a close vicinity whenever he met so many people at once. He trained himself to stop thinking too much over the years, but there was simply just a gut feeling that didn't sit quite right with him, however he tried to ignore it. Also; he didn't have someone who could help him communicate sign language; and that was even more a problem because he didn't even have something to write with, which meant that he couldn't communicate at all with the other cadets, unless one of them did know how to 'speak' sign language. Kalva brightened up at the appearance of the 3-headed bird Pokemon. Dodrio, Kalva recalled. He was tempted to wave at it, but it didn't look too friendly... or even alive, for that matter. It occurred to him that the pokemon wasn't alive at all. It was some kind of technology. Kalva had trouble with technology, despite the 4 years of learning also. Growing up in 02 didn't help, either. In any case, Kalva decided not to approach the bird pokemon for now, and mimic what the other cadets did, touching the circle on the ground.
  20. Visrii sighed, annoyed at this 'Lexiel'. Wyvis always told him he would meet someone just as headstrong and opposite to him. And here they were, striding around, sticking their faces into other people's businesses. In shady parts, that was the fastest way to get yourself killed. He heard thumping inside the bar, and sounds of bad music in between the crashing of glass bottles. Theo. He growled. He JUST came back from battling a bunch of idiots because Lexiel decided to go ahead and torture a guy in the name of 'justice'. Now they were too busy entertaining a bunch of drunks to actually go ahead with the mission. "Ah shit..." Bars back in Rosenfell did permit weapons in bars, knowing how rough it got in there, but 'bars' in snobbish countries like Nivinuxis forbade even the notion. This bar looked no way near snobbish, but the bouncer didn't look pleased looking at Climax. Urgh, fine. He held up Climax, and suddenly, it burst into flames. Within seconds, the giant polearm crumbled into ashes, the dust flowing into one of his armour's many pockets. An old trick of the Watchers; extremely useful to conceal weapons whenever they needed to. He felt a dull pain in his arm whenever he did this, but it saved his neck in all sorts of situations. He pushed inside to towards the stage, and seeing how they were still attempting to entertain the crowds, Visrii grudgingly played along, shooting up a non-lethal lighting storm in sync with the lighting.
  21. "Ah! Yes, I am a Paladin from the lands of Stravaga. I believe you call my realm a 'fantasy realm'?" Wyvis tries to put the safety on and take out the ammo, but somehow manages to disassemble it and drop the parts on his toes, making the surrounding people question if this level of clumsiness with a gun was possible. "Ouch... in any case, I prefer to wield a melee weapon, such as this," Wyvis takes out Harvest, a giant titanite scythe, its golden motto glistening in the light. "I wished to be able to shoot the 'gun' so I can infiltrate as a guard, perhaps."
  22. "Justice to one is sin to another. The only vague sense of 'justice' is what everyone agrees upon to be mutually beneficial to the most number of people. Those people on the sidelines get swept away just for the convenience of befitting the wider public. What do the public blame when things go wrong? The poor. The aliens. The different. Because there are less of them. Or they are not as loud as them. And all your 'everyone loves justice' shit disappears. ... and who are you to decide what's right and wrong for everything?"
  23. Visrii snorts, considers tearing up the brochure, but keeps it, just in case they had to raid somewhere to get medical supplies. "See there, 'angel'? Places like this doesn't give a fuck about your concept of 'justice'. Let's find whoever's sending us to do their dirty work, do the shit and get out of here. Nothing here's worth the trouble." Visrii says to 'Lexiel'. Visrii checks the weapon, and pulls the trigger like he saw the guards do. Huh. Must have run out of those arrows. I'll just sell it for scrap, then.
  24. Visrii finishes his potion, and chucks it away, his wounds healing slightly. Too close again. The Flame is still way too far. He straightened up, leaning slightly on his staff, still covered in blood, his and the guards'. "Don't have a Schmidt here. Unless you're looking for that man over there." Visrii gestured towards the horned man. He stooped down and picked up the baton and the strange metal weapon they were using. Don't know what the fuck this is... but I'm pretty sure I can sell it. Or, at least, melt it and give the scrap to Edmond.
