Battle was over a little half a tick ago, and we're already celebrating where the enemy can ambush any moment? Ha! Sounds like the last time I travelled with mercs. "So...a demon, huh?" Visrii looked down at the small child with a tail. "I had a demon companion back in my own realms. Hmph, though he was no wiser than a rock. So what can you do?"
-
"Shit..." Visrii murmured. "Greenhorns." Visrii scratched his hair, and decided to reluctantly go over and greet the new members. "Hello, my name is Visrii. Blackflame Visrii, though the title most likely means nothing to you. It is best to have the most numbers on our side, and reinforcement was well needed after our previous encounter."
-
Visrii watches as the orcish warrior finally takes the Possessor down. For something that managed to kick the party's ass up and down, the thing itself was pretty easily defeated, for sure. Although he was still pumped to continue the battle, considering how many members were extremely close to death in the battle, it was, perhaps, for the best. Visrii noticed the book flinger Solomon. He recalled the librarian getting hit multiple times during the fight, and threw the guy his own potion. "Looks like you need it." He said nonchalantly.

Visrii Lutheim, 16/33 HP The armour slashed yet again at his side, Visrii rolling precariously under the swipe. But the armour suddenly switched its grip, and Visrii felt pain raking down his leg. A feint! Visrii recovered quickly, and pivoting on his good leg, slammed into the armour whilst it was winding into another attack. It staggered a little, but it stoutly attempted to raise its shield. "Too late." Visrii growled and planted his halberd into its helm before it could organise its defences, bringing an end to its misendeavours. Visrii was about to turn away, when black smoke rushed out at him from the battered armour. As his visions were clouded by the fog, echoes rang from the distance, like the ghosts of children singing impossibly high at midnight. The most haunting thing was - it wasn't some random children's voice; it was his own. "The flame, the flame...oh by the gods no...the flame!" "Visrii...what have you done?" "NO! NOTHING WORKS!" Then, as suddenly as it strangled his mind, it faded once more. Visrii gasped and panted, the echoes faded now... "Hah...shit." He managed to squeeze out a grin, and tightened his grip on Climax. "Probably should've dodged that, right?" Visrii promptly approached the Possessor, seeing Mar tackle it to the ground, he instantly knew what he was trying to do. "Okay, shitface! Time to go back into your hidey hole!" He laughed and let loose an electric chain, paralysing the struggling Possessor in place. Use Profaned Storm to keep the Possessor down as Mar tackles it.

I see a Ds2 player here... Anyways, continuing the trend, Dark Souls 3: Iudex Gundyr - Steel/Dark, or Rock/Dark. Steel/Dark would make more sense since it's weak to fire second phase. Vordt of Boreal Valley - Pure Ice, or Ice/Steel. Curse-Rotted Greatwood - Grass/Poison Crystal Sage - Psychic Deacons of the Deep - Dark/Ghost Abyss Watchers - Fighting High Lord Wolnir - Ghost, because spoopy skeleton. Pontiff Sulyvahn - Psychic/Fighting. Or maybe Fighting/Dark, because he's a prick who killed me too many times. Aldritch the Devourer- Dark Yhorm the Giant - Normal, with Huge Power Dancer of Boreal Valley - Ghost/Fairy Dragonslayer Armour - Rock/Lightning, or Steel/Lightning Twin Princes - Psychic/Fighting with Parental Bond Soul of Cinder - Fighting/Fire, with Multitype that replaces Fire with each different weapon forms. Champion Gravetender and Greatwolf - Fighting/Ice Sister Friede - Ice Friede and Ariandel - Ice/Fire, with Parental Bond. Blackflame Friede - Dark/Ice

Pokemon in Space [Interest Check]
LucidRain replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Aren't interest checks used by GMs to check if the roleplay will have players or not? Anyways, the system looks nice coming along, though I can see that status moves and flinches are going to be a lot less effective in battle. Fine by me, I abhor flinches. -
Visrii Lutheim, 27/33 HP Visrii swept upward at the Reactor, damaging it for a fair amount, but left him open for attack. He heard a clashing sound behind him, and he quickly whirled around; only to suffer a blow to his side by the pirouetting armour. Blood splattered, but luckily it was a slight wound; he was better off than many of the other members anyway. "Urgh, shit." Visrii growled. "I thought we killed that thing!" He quickly closed the gap between him and the reactor and slashed at the armour. Sharp Sweep on Armour B. (2d4+DEX*1.25, Pass 75% RES)

Pokemon in Space [Interest Check]

Thoust have piqued my interest. Combat system's interesting and the space theme sounds nice. I'll def play if this get up out there, reserve a spot for me -
Visrii Lutheim Visrii dashed through the field and rolled over the armour's raised shield, catching it off guard behind it. As the bruised armour attempted to turn, he kicked its leg from underneath it. In one swift movement he switched to his halberd blade and sliced cleanly through the now exposed breastplate. He watched in annoyed disinterest as the darkness from the armour faded away. That's one. Although he would have smiled at the defeat of such opponent, he noticed the reactor weaving havok through the party. Already, fighters were being downed left and right of him, being onslaught by the awakened metal core. "Get the wounded healed up!" he roared at the few healers they had, "Dead fighters are no use to anyone!" With that, he charged at the reactor and swept at it. Sharp Sweep on Reactor

[OOC] A Way With Words [Open]
LucidRain replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
If you asked me what I’d say I am, I would most likely say, “Ray Reuvinson, age 16, student who goes to the school down the road.” Just plain, simple facts one might find looking a name tag, or a simple profile. Not much, really. But if you asked me, “Who are you?” things get a little stranger. Identity is such a fickle thing, but I have hazarded to define myself upon 3 humble words. I believe that I am a medium for a myriad of worlds to pour out their songs and hearts and souls through. I am a dreamer who places these stories upon the night sky. And I am a visionary who simply tells people to look up, so that they may see the night sky and place their own stories among the stars. I am not a very outspoken person. Perhaps a little shy of being anti-social. But I believe that if I may provide solace to at least one person in the world, one precious soul among a sea of lives, then that is good enough for me. -
Never denied the fact that we already had support characters. We do have support characters, just not enough.

Howdy there, newcomer! (Well, I'm more of a newcomer than you in terms of experience) A support based character is a fresh breath of air indeed, thank you! Long may the sun shine!

Visrii Lutheim, (33HP Healthy) Visrii watched in frustration as his attack did little damage to the set of armour. If he had been in Stravaga, the armour would have blown up in one hit, especially after all the assault from the other, more powerful members of the team. Shit, I'm much weaker here. Guess I do need backup, then. Visrii focuses on the battle - one armour was ravaging through the party, another was standing passively by. "Get Edmond safe, Alexandria!" he yelled as he saw Edmond get hit hard. He leaps in and sweeps with his blade. Sharp Strike on Animated Armour

Which fictional character do you most admire?
LucidRain replied to Eviora's topic in General Discussion
Solaire of Astora, Dark Souls. A fan favourite because of his memorable quotes and personality, he became my favourite because of his endless bravery for pursuit. He gave up his Humanity and cursed himself to be an Undead, just so that he may pursue his ultimate goal of finding his own sun. He is surrounded perpetually by the ones who wish to kill him, yet he accepts them as they are accordingly. He eventually outruns the Player throughout the entirety of the game up until the Demon Ruins, and with weapons and armour that have absolutely no special qualities at all. He pursued his dreams with his own might, and a mortal he may be, he did not stop searching for his own sun. And that's something not many people can do. -

((kj, we're going along with Cronos' interpretation of the action. Also, put those remarks in OOC, you're breaking the 4th wall. It's a justified one, but it still should be in OOC.)) Visrii snorted. "If it had not been for Alexandria, we probably would have had one casualty already." Visrii readied his staff again, which he had sheathed to pull the man away from the explosion. "Now, are gonna tackle this thing, or are we gonna stand around and talk?" Visrii charged up his lightning spear again, and shot it swiftly against the Heartless in front of them.
-
Visrii witnessed the explosion. "You damned idiots!" he cursed as he pushed forward back toward the front-lines. "There's a Heartless right in front of you and now you're all too busy avoiding friendly fire?" And you're saying I'm the dangerous one. Visrii pulled the person lying on the ground (Edmond) back up and away from the grenade's blast zone. Thankfully, Alexandria had come in swiftly to protect the nutheads from hurting themselves. "You 'right?" Visrii asked as he surveyed the person of any wounds.
-
Visrii again noted the noticeably condescending tone. He was starting to get less and less comfortable with this idea of camaraderie. "Doing nothing but staring at it would not help either. And," he waved towards the aged tapestry. "If you can make sense of this, then be my guest." "...heyyy...are you there, Visrii?" Wyvis again, from the faint distance. "It's been exactly 5 ticks since our last conversation." Visrii transmitted back, in a somewhat angry tone. "What more do you want?" Visrii lowered his weapon and retreated to near back of the group, where he could prepare a bit more in case of the door opening. "...you said you were last at Cainwood, right? Uh, I just checked the logs, Cainwood is not actually a place." This alarmed Visrii. "What? I am pretty certain it most definitely is. Check it again. East Uphernfade, next to the Emerald Expanse." "Mmm, yeah. Township of Cainwood was destroyed in the Undead Uprising 20 years ago. Archives of Nivinuxis is pretty reliable too." Visrii remained silent. Although his memory remained fuzzy before his Jump to this realm, he could trace out the faces of the people he had drawn contract with. "There's some serious time contortion shit going on here. Jumping realms is heard of. Jumping timelines is a whole new level." Visrii growled. "Yeah, I'll keep you informed of more findings. I'll take a company down to the site. Will keep you informed." "Try not to call me every 5 ticks." Visrii heard Wyvis laugh. "Okay, I'll TRY." Visrii shook his head and turned his attention back to the door. His homeland was in turmoil in both literal and political sense. He needed to get back and fix it quick-smart. All the more reasons to stay alive.
-
Huh, this guy has the tendency to not listen, Visrii took mental note. But since he seemed the most vigorous out of the company, it seemed to his advantage he'll keep Solomon as an ally. "I probably can't buckle the contraption. I am doubtful that the owner of the place would likely have made his defences weak enough to let a small company break his barracks." Visrii brought up his weapon. "Though," he added, "it wouldn't hurt to try." Visrii charged a spear of lightning and threw it against the contraption, anticipating its reaction.

Moral grey lines. Visrii turned serious, a rare break from his usual causality. Perhaps he needed to explain himself. "I do morally wrong things in favour of the morally righteous. The 'heroes' that parade my realm do naught but squander on their glory. Many times one will be faced with a diversion. Will you kill 10 innocents to save a hundred? How about if they were your family, your company? What would you do then? These questions I do not ponder over. I do the act and be done with it, unlike those who die in a clutch of ardent honor. However, if these moral scales are absent, then my own profit is one the first line. This has been so for my recent ventures, since the realm of Stravaga has been in moral depravity for so long." Visrii stopped a fair way behind the grandiose door. Obviously, this was an important door, with intricate patterns running around it. If Visrii's experience as a merc told him anything, it was that there, behind it, was a strong enemy - perhaps even the 'boss' of the place. ...and the recent light drop didn't help either. Visrii tensed and drew his weapon. "I'd talk a little longer, but I think we'll have contacts soon. Eyes up."
