  1. Enjoyment comes from the experience of playing something, not how fun something is. And thus an ending has no bearing on how one experienced the game. Perhaps you should have formulated the question thus: "Does a game need to be fun to be satisfying and enjoyable" In which case, the answer is, definitely not. Especially games with heavy themes like Papers Please, Amnesia The Dark Descent, Silent Hill 2, This War of Mine etc. aren't very fun to play due to their themes and how those are integrated into the mechanics, as they seek to make you stressed, worried and gloomy while playing the game. This can definitely be a worthwhile and satisfying experience, but it's definitely not a fun experience.
  2. Do people ever guess correctly? Anastane
  3. So, I didn't do this, but this happened to me once in Europa Universalis IV. We were playing 4 people online, although I was stronger than the other 3, though could not entirely assert dominance. So a second player invited me into an alliance to take down the 2. strongest player, and seeing this as a great opportunity, I accepted his offer. His main asset was his powerful Navy which prevented me from Attacking him, so we ganged up our navies and prepared to attack him. I sailed my fleet from the Northern Sea into the Mediterranean. All my 150 ships that had taken me the past 50 years of game-time to build. And finally we see the perfect opportunity, the 2. strongest player just had his navy leave port, and we could intercept it before he could return to port. We declare war and prepare to fight this guys' navy of 200 ships. But wait, something wasn't right. Why didn't my "ally" join me... Wait what is he doing? Did he just peace out with my opponents leaving my navy to fend for itself? Wait what? Did he just join THEIR alliance and attack me O_o Frankly speaking, this betrayal was huge, with all three of the other players sinking my whole navy, and proceeding to invade me. And then we had a war that lasted 30 years of game time. This lasted around 5 sessions of 5 hours of play. And it all started with the vilest act of villainy and betrayal that I have ever experienced.
  4. 7/10 I like the lightning, but the Zapdos looks wonky. That sig is a 11/10 though.
  5. Who is this Juu guy? I believe in Tempest!
  6. You can find your save file in Users/Username/Saved Games/Pokemon Reborn/ Hopefully, you'll recover your savefile. Though if you lose the save-file it may be a blessing in disguise as you'll have the experience of replaying this wonderful game. (Is your son playing Reborn too?) edit: Did I just write save-file 3 different ways?

  9. @Anstane Just out of curiosity. What was your team during the game? (And how did it evolve over time)
  10. The original resolution of the avatar doesn't really matter as the forum will rescale and crop your avatar. So I recommend you find yourself an avatar that you like, and let the forum software do the rest.
  11. Actually, i never used Perish Song against Super Bosses/Pulse Pokémon. Only on Gym-Leaders.
  12. Oh my, a rebel have we, neat. Welcome to the Abyss, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. That intro is pretty punctual, tidy and frank ~ I love it. Many funs are to be had here, and many a' personality is to be met. The time you spend here is stolen my Ame and used to fuel her doomsday device your own And thus your stay here is what you'll make of it. So don't blame us if you stay up to 3 AM to play forum games You have now been warned. With these words of caution, you will surely not have to consult Google for advice for at least 9 minutes. - Tartar
  13. I don't really have any particular affinity for Gen 4. I've primarily played during Gen 3 and 5. I definitely consider the meanings of what I'm saying. And like how you told me previously how I don look at the context of what you're saying and taking things out of context, this time, you did the same exact thing. I was referring to good and evil in regards to the "PC vs Console Wars", and how people arbitrarily pick sides and vehemently claim their side to be good and the other side bad. Now this is, in fact, arbitrary because people didn't choose their side based on logic, but on circumstance. Just like with many other things in life, we arbitrarily pick sides and culture a distinct "us vs them" mentality, a fruitless and pointless endeavour that is still perpetuated by every social group on the planet. This is why I asked the question. You're forced into selling your soul to the devil, what do you ask in exchange for it?
  14. Another move that can be useful at times is Perish Song. I didn't use it in Reborn, but it saved me many times while playing Rejuvenation.
  15. Misty Fields is pretty useless in the main series, but in Reborn it's great for removing field effects.
  16. Playing on only one platforms limits your available games. So if PC gaming is light, and Console gaming is Darkness. In that case I guess that I am Shadow. Why do people arbitrarily draw distinctions between good and evil?
  17. Apparently there are two type of people in the world, and I hate both of them.

  19. Say, you're offered a million dollars in exchange for marrying a Gardevoir, the problem is... It's a yandere. Naturally, this Gardevoir is just the sweetest and most precious thing you've ever seen, the problem... It's a yandere. And if you don't actively spend time with your new spouse, and do everything you can to have a stable and healthy relationship with your Gardevoir, it'll go psychotic and murder you and everyone you know. And naturally, you can't get too close to any other person, as Gardevoir is extremely jealous and will terminate anyone whom you get too close to. And did I mention that this Gardevoir is immortal? Yeah, you're tied to it for life. So this is pretty much a lifelong commitment, and you can't get out of this marriage unless you want to have your life cut short, that is. So, the question is thus: Would you marry a yandere Gardevoir?
