This, Ampharos is the God of Thunder, the lord of Defense, and the Bane of Fern and his ilk. Though in all honesty, Ampharos is good and usefull throughout the whole game, and you don't have to breed it to get good moves. It naturally learns Discharge/Thunder-Wave/Rock Gem/Dragon Pulse, which provides it great coverage, making it able to take down a Pokémon in any gym it encounters.

The gender to Ralts gets assigned randomly, but later in the game you can get a Ditto, to breed as many Ralts' as you want. So you could get both a Gardevoir and Gallade if you wanted!

Hopefully they'll start making a season 2 based on the Web Novel instead of the Visual Novel which is a reedited version of the Web Novel. Since that has material for at least 2 to 3 more seasons. Heck, can we have a 3 more season, pretty please? -

And thus without opponents we are left with no incentive to express ourselves in fun ways, and we'll grow complacent and bored. And thus despite our opponents being heretical foes who needs to be vanquished, they are also friends and partners that we must cherish. If you want to play the whole series, 4 is a great way to start, since going back to 4 after playing the proceeding games can be a very difficult experience since the gameplay improved quite a bit in the latter installments. Otherwise, if you only plan to play the highlights of the series, I recommend you only play 6, 7 or 9 which are the best in the series. (6 Being my personal favorite)
