I said one thing about Magic: In the extended formats the same decks are dominant for years at a time, until their key combo piece gets banned, new deck types don't really get made anymore in Legacy and Modern. But yeah, this isn't really relevant to the discussion, outside of Ame's comment about digital TCG's. I'm calling it now, Ame is the best yandere.

And here I thought this would be a thread about boardgames ~ *pout* And despite how much I love physical boxes and opening them, and showing off my collections, it's simply unfeasable due to how much space having one takes up. So therefore I have to concede to the Digital Gaming trend that has engulfed our world this past decade.

You're really misrepresenting Hearthstone. The diversity of the game is really high, we currently see 20% Shaman on ladder, 15% Warrior and Hunter, 10% Mage and 10% Druid. Which is a really high diversity, considering each of those classes has multiple viable decks which play starkly differently. Having over 10 viable decks on ladder is incredible. Take Magic as an example, 2 or 3 decks are played at most at a time, because everything else is trash, same with Yugioh. And the meta constantly rotates, with Midrange Shaman having just been discovered as a deck, with Malygos Token Druid having come the week before. And within the individual decks cards change, It is entirely unfair to call the game stale, considering how rapidly the meta changes. But perhaps you've never played Yugioh and Magic, since in those games the same (unchanged!) deck can dominate the meta for years if not decades in MTG's case.

Another thing to note though is that a lot of the powerhouse Pokémon like Gyarados have been removed from the earlier episodes, so now the quality of the Mons available has gone down. But yeah, overall the difficulty of nearly every gym leader has been toned down by EP15.

The easiest (and cheesiest) way of going about is using a prankster Murkrow with Perish Song. Otherwise a Fairy type with Air Balloon is the way to go, since it'll keep spamming Earthquake over and over. In general there are lots of ways for defeating the thing.
