I've compiled Bennett's dialogue in Spinel Town. This was taken from Shofu's lets play and not the latest version, so some parts of their dialogue are missing that were added later. But Luna and bug types are literally the only thing he talks about. It's kinda hard to NOT notice hos obsessed he is with Luna from the get go. It's difficult to point out what exactly made his so infatuated with Luna to even develop his current mentality, but from what I can gather from Luna's dialogue in Iolia Valley she seems pretty apathetic to him, being confused as to what he's talking about when he suddenly starts confessing his feelings. Through It's probably just a precarious crush since she seems to be the only person around his age in all of Spinel town, and like he himself said, he thought she was pretty. I don't think that Bennett and Luna even talked that much during her stay with Serra, since she seems oblivious to his existence. Through there is a definite shift after he met El, and how he developed his stalkerish mentality once we saw him in Iolia Valley. Its easy to imagine how it first started to develop after he was taken in by El and he started rising in the ranks quickly. For someone who's been looked down upon and ignored their whole life, once put in a position of power its easy to imagine how get full of themselves once they suddenly get treated like someone important like Bennett did under El. In general I get the feeling that he solely joined El because he said he was Luna's father, just notice his reaction when El said Luna was his daughter. And thus after he got taken in and was brainwashed/fed lies by El his current mentality developed. Its kinda tragic really, since our hate towards Bennett should really be directed toward El who encouraged and begot his behavior. But no, instead Bennett gets treated as the most hated character in all of Reborn...

The game is about a bunch of dysfunctional people coming together to save the world. I don't really mind the protagonist being mute considering how interesting all the other characters are.

The word gentle comes from the French word gentile which again came from the latin word gentilis which meant that someone was from one's own clan. ie. that someone was not a jew. So anytime you call someone gentle, you're saying that they're nice because they're not of Jewish descent...

Here's a warning: do NOT watch the Umineko Anime, its not a particularly good and faithful adaptation, and even worse, its unsolvable (it lacks crucial details to actually solve the mystery...). And most kinda agree on the anime being mediocre. Instead if you want to know the story and don't have the time to read the 1,2 million word long Visual Novel you should read the manga, which is actually written by ryukishi07 himself, and is a surprisingly great adaptation and can even stand on its own. Oh and here's more question, because you asked for them so nicely... -You've made a point to subvert many gender expectations (and playing some straight) with the many characters you write (eg. Cain, Adrian, ZEL, Titania). Are you doing this for any specific reason, and are you drawing from real life experiences when writing these characters? - Have you ever changed any part of the game (story or gameplay) because of negative reactions in the community? And also, have you shied away from certain topics due to fearing a negative backlash among the community? - You've inserted El as a villain in the game, and describe how his Cult indoctrinates people and discriminates against others. No, I'm talking about what the game gives you naturally. I practically never buy anything throughout the game, which caused me to never lack the funds in case I wanted a potion or two for extreme situation.

The fact that the game throws too much money at the player... I thought we were supposed to be hobos living off scraps, not millionaires. Seriously, by the end of the game I had 300k Reborn Dollars, enough to always have plenty of Ice Cream and Ptions at hand, making the game easier than it needs to be. I'd have liked if the available funds were lowered.

It all started with me going onto TvTropes to read about Video Game bosses, and lo and behold, the rabbit hole has continued for the past 7 days, and me having read more than 200 TvTropes pages in the meantime (I counted) I am still nowhere done with finishing all of the tabs I have open... I simply do not know what to do. I want to leave, but it won't let me! Alas, the pull of that villainous website is calling to me... Must read more tropes... I cannot resist its pull any longer...
