I actually just picked up Devil Survivor Overclocked while on vacation. Haven't given it a try yet. I've heard it's quite good! I think to date, I've only played Nocturne, DDS1, Devil Summoner 2, P3 FES, P4, P5, PQ, and SMT IV.

I figured it'd be something simple like that. Lol. Much obliged friend.

1. When I was 16 my brother, five of my friends, and I made a YouTube fan-series called "We're Bloody Pirates" that was a spoof of the then insanely popular "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. It was awful looking back on it, but at the time our friends loved it. We all became known for better or worse as the "Pirate Kids" in high school. We all got pirate themed tattoos later on to signify that point of our lives. My right shoulder down to my elbow is covered in a large Black Pearl-like ship with the words "WBP - est: 2006" across the bottom. 2. In circa 2010 I was convinced I could bring the Musketeer hat back into fashion....I wore one everywhere for 6 months.... 3. I've met Lou Ferrigno in person. Great guy. Had no idea he was deaf until a month later. 4. I was Shanghaied into being a member of a tabletop RPG panel at OMGcon 2008 when I had only ever played 2 sessions of any TTRPG... 5. I live in the "Home of Superman"....I hate Superman....

Ok, my OSD is flaring up officially now that I'm 30+ hours into the game and can't figure out how to sort the items in my bag. I'm sure it's something silly that I've overlooked. Is there any sort of auto-sort in the game that puts all your potions and like-items together in your bag? Thanks for any and all info!

So I understand Ability Capsules are able to change a Pokémon's Ability with ease, but I've got a question: How is it determined what the new Ability will be after using a capsule? I'm wanting to give my Arcanine "Intimidate" instead of "Justified". Is it a random chance as to what the new ability will be, or is it already pre-determined somehow? I wasn't sure if it was something I could soft-reset to get what I'd like or not. I ask because when I tried to change my Magneton's "Analytic" to "Sturdy", it always and only seemed to want to change to "Magnet Pull" no matter how many times I soft-reset the game. Not sure if it was pre-determined or if I was just unlucky. Thanks for any and all help as always folks!

I completely agree. I just used Magnezone as an example due to the fact that it has very few features that can broadcast it's mood or personality outwardly. It's hard for me to impose too much personality on it simply because it's basically a machine. Not to say it can't have character, it's just harder to imagine; at least for me.

I can see where that's difficult. Magnezone is my favorite Pokémon, but I'll be damned if it's so hard to give it a personality just because of what it is!

I completely understand the attachment. I've never tried any sort of roleplay forum before. I tried my hand at writing a short story about my Growlithe on these forums about two weeks ago, but that's been about the extent of me outwardly projecting my head-cannon for my mons, haha. It's really interesting for me to read others' stories though! Here was the story if interested:

Kind of an odd title, but let me elaborate: I've been playing Pokémon for many, many, years now, and one thing that's always stayed the same since I was a kid is that I can't help but imagine that my Pokémon have personalities. I'm almost 30, and I still find myself daydreaming about my cool battles my Pokémon had in Reborn and in the cannon games. So this inevitably leads to me becoming attached to my mons, and sort of imposing a personality on them. For example: my (now) Arcanine that I received from the Police Quest in Jasper Ward. I sort of see her has a loner, but with an almost militaristic air about her. This comes from her Nature, (lonely) and the fact that she was part of the Police force. It's fun to imagine the scenario of my MC basically adopting her after her trainer was killed, and now she's with me to seek some sort of retribution, getting stronger in the process and helping to keep my other Pokémon in line. I do this type of thing to most of my mons. It helps me connect with the game on a certain level I guess. It also makes it terribly hard to "optimize" my team, because I become attached the my Pokémon, who have basically become characters in their own rights to me. Reborn makes this even easier with all of it's Event Pokémon. Their various scenarios make it easy for me to imagine what sort of story or personality that Pokémon might have. What about you guys and gals? Do any of you tend to imagine personalities or some sort of head-cannon for your Pokémon? I'd love to hear some examples! Feel free to share your own stories!

Thanks! I like Gothitelle, but I wouldn't mind replacing/upgrading her if I could find Ralts. As for the move relearner, I just missed my opportunity before the gym. Evidently if I'd found her key before Cain smashed the Railnet, it could already have access to her. So for now I'm locked from her until I get Strength after this gym.

Spent some time back in the old Volcano and trained everyone. Got some evolutions, got some new moves, did some member swapping, and now I feel like we're in a pretty good place. I was able to beat Cain and now we're off to the Wasteland to take down his Gym Leader Sister! My one complaint is that I'm unable to access the Move Relearner at this point since I missed it earlier. Due to this, Chesnaught is lacking behind quite a bit. Really if it can't be 'Seed Bomb-ed', then Chester doesn't really make an appearance. I was curious what could be a good swap-in for Chesnaught? I've got a level 42 Nidoqueen currently that I'm considering using. Some other notables are Starmie and Darmanitan. Thanks for all the continued help folks!

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. I actually have a couple Fire Stones at this point. I'm just waiting for her to hit 45 for Flare Blitz before evolving!
