  1.

At first this may look like a cheap abridged series that tries to get cheap laughs off of tasteless jokes about cancer.

But Stick with it. It ends up becoming one of the most heartfelt and clever abridged series out there, with clever editing, character development, and emotion.

Also, All Might is kind of a douche in this one, but he goes through some development and becomes a good person.

Its almost like a really well written fanfiction.

    Really big spoiler alert:

    Spoiler

Midorya dies partway through the series, and they cleverly edit him out from the next few episodes, all the way until he's resurrected by Recovery Girl in a similar way to Gaara of the Sand and Granny Chiyo.

  2. If the Final Fantasy VII remake removes the Destruction of Sector 7 scene purely because people in America find it too similar to 9/11 and get offended, I'd be pissed.

But at least the original will always be there.

Maybe it would be forgivable for MGS2, since the reason for the removal of the scene Arsenal Gear crashing into Manhattan was 9/11, because 9/11 just happened and MGS2 is not a remake of a classic. But Final Fantasy VII is a classic, and removing parts of a classic just because they offend people is a practice that I do not approve of. And its been 17 years. I understand it was a tragedy, but don't let it interfere with a fictional story from 1997.

while I can't fully disagree with you, I do have to say that if it were to be removed for that reason that I would completely understand it

  3. As you know, Final Fantasy has a host of different universes, different stories, and different characters. Each story takes place in its own universe with its own characters (Unless you want to count the "FFVII is FFX in the future on another planet", but even then, Cloud's story really has nothing to do with Tidus or Yuna). Me, I want turn based combat back. I mean, I'd make it Conditional Turn based, like in Final Fantasy X. I'd also bring back Materia, because I'm a fanboy of VII, and I have a number of ways I could weave this into the narrative. I know, not everyone likes turn based combat, but still... I like turn based combat, and its been a thing for most Final Fantasy titles. Speaking of the Narrative... I know that you don't necessarily need a good story to have a good game, but... that was one of my major disappointments with Final Fantasy XV and (more notably) Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The stories in those two games kinda suck, not gonna lie. So, for this game, I'd put more emphasis on storytelling. May be harder than it looks, but I know some things. At least actually reading books, watching movies, and playing story based games helped me more than English class in high school. And, that's all I have. For now. So, discuss. Share your Ideas. You can almost do anything. Final Fantasy went from chosen heroes, to boy bands, to sportsmen, to Environmental Terrorists, to a Industrial Revolution-esque period, to a knight banished from his kingdom... Its a very diverse franchise. Just make sure you throw the Ultima Spell, the Ultima Weapon, some random guy named Cid, Chocobos... make sure you get a good amount of series staples. Even if you think its a stupid Idea, share it anyway.
  4. I nominate Terra as most likely to be a Smash Ultimate DLC Character. She’s the Square Enix Rep. If Cloud can get in, so can Terra.
  5. I want a remake of Final Fantasy VI.

Not a crappy IOS port, but a real deal, cinematic, voice acted, graphically impressive remake of Final Fantasy VI.

I want to see Sabin suplex a train in glorious HD.

  6. I main Cloud. I didn't in Smash 4 because of salty nerds and unfair advantages, but now I'm using him in Ultimate. I mean, he is the protagonist of my favorite JRPG of all time, so... As if now, I'm trying to learn how to play the game competitively, and Cloud is easy to learn. Snake and Mewtwo are really tough characters to get the hang of, so I'll get to them later. Finishing touch kinda sucks in this game. The reduced Hitbox makes it very hard to land, and I always find myself going for a Limit Cross Slash, or a Climhazzard for Better Recovery/Braver if I get above the stage, rather than a Finishing touch. His Aerial game is just as good as usual. I find myself throwing out a Down Air as an approach option more often than his other Aerials. His Reduced range hurts his Aerial game a lot, but he still retains his excellent frame data. If this is what it takes for Cloud to be balanced, then I'm fine with it. Just... don't extend his range and ruin his frame data. That would ruin the character. Compared to Bayonetta, he definitely got the better end of the deal. Bayo... I think they over nerfed her. After what MKLeo did to Plup, I guess we should have seen this coming. Overall, he's still a fun, usable character. Blond Zack is still my main in this game. And I just realized: He doesn't have access to Meteorain in this game. Maybe they should have made that one of his moves. Also, Remember when he had to have limit fully charged in order to attempt Climhazzard, Braver, Cross-Slash, Blade Beam, and Omnislash? Seems like in this game, you only need full limit for Finishing Touch. Omnislash is justifiable, because It's a Final Smash. I'm also, like most Final Fantasy VII fans, disappointed by the lackluster FFVII music selection present in this game. No J-E-N-O-V-A, No One Winged Angel, no Jenova Absolute, no theme of Cid Highwind, no "On that Day Five Years Ago", no Cosmo Canyon, no Prelude (And FFVII had the best version of it), and no Bombing Mission. And No Aerith's theme (If Calling to the Night from MGS Portable Ops can make it in, I'm pretty sure this can get in too). And not even some of the music from the spinoffs, like "The Price of Freedom" from Crisis Core. This may have been Square Enix's fault really, for failing to give permission to use these songs. When Konami of all companies is being less stingy with their licenses, you know you've screwed up. This may change, if there is another Square Rep. But even if the Grinch Leak was fake, that isn't grounds for me to start believing in Vergeben.
  7. Oh, Goddamn it. Of everything I could have been nominated for, it had to be Fern Sevilla. Jan isn’t really grumpy enough to earn the “Grumpy of the year” award... unless you are talking about the V11 status thread that was closed due to us getting off topic far too much. The other two I completely agree with, though.
  8. I nominate no one, because... I really don’t know who. If there was a category involving probably unnecessary posts about Smash Bros, I probably would win that one. Edit: Actually I have something. I nominate Incineroar for the Fern Sevilla award.
  9. I wish that I had all of the Knowledge in the world inside my brain, and that I would be able to retrieve it at will.
  10. Rejuvenation’s beta testing is 69% done...

    Goddamn it Jan.

  11. Oh dear lord... you remember that he was third heaviest in Brawl? That’s where my error was: his weight was reduced from 113 to 106. Still pretty heavy, just not enough to classify as a “heavyweight”.
  12. Allow me to correct myself: He did better than Bowser in Brawl. He was better than Ganondorf in all of his appearances, however. This may change in Ultimate, because now Ganondorf also got a speed buff. I'll always favor Ike over those two anyday, though.
  13. Considering that Metal Gear is represented in this Franchise, It wouldn't be that out of place. Those who've played Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty will know what I mean.
  14. I've always liked Ike's playstyle. In fact, if Cloud Strife didn't fulfill his archetype of the heavy hitting swordsman and Roy fulfilling the "Marth-like" role, I probaby would have used him as either a Main or a secondary. I actually like Ike more than Roy, partially because of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, and partially because he's just so satisfying to play as. In fact, my ranking of the Fire Emblem Smash Characters goes like this: 1) Ike 2) Roy 3) Marth 4) Lucina 5) Chrom 6) Robin 7) Corrin (Had the misfortune of me playing Fates before buying the Smash 4 DLC) They gave him a better Up Air, and Eruption now has Range. This is better than I could have hoped for. I don't think he'll ever be as good as his Brawl Incarnation though, where believe it or not, he had an even matchup with the Ice Climbers. Anyone with an even matchup against those two would be characters I'd consider competitively viable. Just have a fallback pocket character to deal with Meta Knight, because dear lord, Ike in that Matchup was Atrocious. It was a -3. Sacrificial KO's with either now have Ike getting KO'd second. Meaning Ike wins if both characters are on their last stock. Does the same hold true for Bowsercide or other Sacrificial KO moves? I have no Idea. They slightly nerfed Counter. That's a shame, I'm a really counter heavy player. But maybe its for the best. It's not a very significant nerf, but its a nerf. Considering that Ike is basically a walking KO option that does his job a lot better than Ganondorf or Bowser, a nerf to knockback on one of his moves isn't very consequential. And that's it from what I've seen. My copy of the game arrived at my house today. Problem is, I'm in my college dorm. However, after my final exam is done tomorrow, then I'll go home on a train, and once I get home, I'll have my first taste of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. And with that, RIP his old voice. At least "I fight for my friends" and "You'll get no sympathy from me" are still in his victory animations, but it just isn't as charming anymore.
  15. Stain >>>> Endeavor, as far as being likable goes.

    Stain isn’t a Scumbag. He’s a murderous fanatic, but he isn’t a scumbag.

Endeavor is a douche that MHA’s Society considers a “Hero” because... he has a license.

"Stain has some good ideals, though taken to bad extremes

But there's no denying that he's a murderer that has killed and seriously wounded a lot of good people"

This would kinda makes sense even when talking about Stalin 😬

  18. Projared hasn't put up a video in like 4 months.

But I'm glad he's still alive and well.

  19. At this point, the only rule I have regarding possible third parties is this: they have to be Japanese. That’s really it.
  20. I knew that Beta Chan was suffering from Accelerated Aging. Just like Old Snake. This is appropriate.
  21. Eventually, Computers will advance to such a degree that home computers will be able to run PS4 emulators without many problems.

Only then you can download an ROM of P. T. and play through it.

  22. You can hear the cry of the planet.
  23. ...You don't play Resident Evil, do you? Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are the two most popular characters in the franchise. I can see why you'd make those mistakes.
