Truth be told, I forgot this Anime even existed. I watched it first when I was twelve.
Recently, I rewatched all Four Seasons of the Original and the Five seasons of Brotherhood over the summer.
And I remember why I liked it. This Anime had an awesome world, a cast of compelling characters, a great plot, a great english dub, and awesome animation. I don't think there is a modern anime that even comes close to this in terms of quality.
The Fourth opening of Brotherhood is the best of the Brotherhood openings. The Animation is fluid, and the song sounds great despite being Japanese and making me feel like a weeaboo. In addition, I really like it when characters stand back to back, like Alphonse and Edward in this intro.
I think this Anime deserved all the acclaim that it got.

What is the worst JRPG ever made?

@Commander I have a friend who says that Sword Art Online inspired some of his favorite video games.
Even though he fully acknowledges that the Anime is terrible and that Reki Kawahara is an incompetent writer.

After returning to Neo-Reborn and Ame asks you to find Arclight, Adrienn, and Victoria, when you get to Victoria she's at Kiki's grave. Her line there is "I've heard about a lot of things happening up in Carnelia, and I was really worried! But, of course, you're just fine. You always are, right?"
And after she says that last bit she goes back to Kiki's gravestone
So I may be reading into this a bit too much, but that line makes me think Victoria has a small grudge against the player for coming out of every situation unscathed, while those around them are hurt or die.

@uberle That's one way to see it, but I think she says "of course, you're just fine. You always are, right?" because she cares about the mc.

So, whenever you hear discussions about which third party characters you want in the Super Smash Bros series, just remember.
Solid Snake started it all.
And Sonic too, but his games aren't all good anymore, apart from gems like Mania. -
So, I downloaded a bunch of PS1 games for my PS3, as well as brought out the disks of PS1 games that I already own (which is only 2 of them: Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII).
Honestly, the PS1 control scheme is kinda outdated and archaic. Who uses "X" as the cancel button anymore? In modern times, it's usually "O".
It in no way detracts from the quality of the games I played, but muscle memory kinda means that I screw up navigating the menus sometimes.

The PS2 controls actually feels a lot more natural, probably because it's not as old.
Nintendo, however, has actually stayed pretty consistent with its controls even as the generations passed by. The control scheme for games like Pokemon and Super Smash Bros have actually not changed at all. (Apart from maybe one or two buttons)

But despite the fact that I'm not sexually attracted to Waluigi... this still made me laugh.
I still don't care about Waluigi's inclusion in Smash, however. Am I heartless?
I'm still gonna use Pichu over Pikachu anyday. I didn't know how much I wanted him back, until they brought him back. He looks adorable.

Am I the only Smash Bros Fan who doesn't give a crap about Waluigi?
I didn't even care about Ridley and the "Ridley is too Big" memes. Or King K. Rool.

It's been quite a few months since that Awful Death Note live action adaptation. I rewatched it, and it still sucks.
I wonder how Near, Matsuda, Mello, or Mikami would have been trashed if they had been in this film. Thank god they weren't.
Light Turner is not our lovable potato chip-eating genius psychopath, and Black L isn't the weird but lovable detective like L in the Anime. James Turner is not the respectable investigator Soichiro Yagami.
This movie screwed everything up.

@DreamblitzX It's not even an OK film. It's Incompetent on some of the most basic levels of filmmaking.
