  1. Oh, there is no way Kaido is stronger than Shanks. I'd say Kaido is actually the weakest of the Yonko. But that's just me guessing because they're going after him first. Anyway, this is a One Piece discussion. It doesn't have to be all about Kaido. So I will ask this, and do keep in mind this question will contain slight SPOILERS, so don't read if you don't want to be spoiled. Anyway, Who do you think will get Ace's devil fruit? Personally, I think it will be Sanji, if it's a crew member, since he uses fire when he kicks. But that's just my best guess at the moment.
  2. It's hard to tell at this point, really. I mean, we don't know much about Kaido except that he's a Yonko, which already warrants his capabilities... But even so, we still can't tell what level he is on compared to Luffy or Law. We still haven't seen Luffy's true power post time skip either. He never really went all out against Hody Jones or Caesar Clown. Law is a little different though, he beat Smoker rather easily, so it's safe to say that he's drastically more powerful than he was pre time skip, and he's even one of the Seven Warlords. However, he was roughed up a ton by Vergo, and I would like to believe that Kaido is tons stronger than him. Going off of that, it's safe to assume that Kaido could beat Law. So for them to have a shot, Luffy would have to be near Yonko level in terms of strength... which, I don't really think he is at this point. Don't get me wrong, he's a lot stronger now, but I just don't think he's quite near Yonko level yet. Tl;dr Even if they combined strength, I still think Kaido would win.
  3. I need someone to play Storm 3 with. :c

  4. So Reborn isn't becoming a general gaming community?
  5. Most likely. Personally, I'm fine with 5th gen being the peak of PO. If I want 6th gen battles I'll just hop on my 3DS. On to other things: The ladder reset. First off, yay! Can't wait to climb back up. As for PO possibly ending. It seems a little odd to hear about it at this given point and time, almost fishy. But even so, I don't really think it should be disregarded as false, or "a prank" just yet. It's simply speculation. Anyway, we won't know for sure until X and Y hit shelves, and since anything can happen in that time frame, lets just enjoy the time we have like PO is ending, and if it doesn't then more fun, and if it does, we made the last few months a blast. Reborn will still be Reborn anyway. Plus there's Pokemon Showdown for anyone who wants to play Pokemon.
  6. So what's the deal with airline food?
  7. I'm afraid I cannot do that, friend. It's the only pink shirt I have. :c
  8. It's been awhile since I posted of picture of myself, and after finding my camera and working up the nerve... I have taken one, and unlike the others, this one is actually recent! I know, right?
  9. May your journey be a safe one!
  10. Oh, a Wedlocke, eh? This looks pretty interesting. I really like how you describe the Pokemon too! Turtwig x Bidoof OTP
  11. "When will Ame give Xiph a Dratini?" is missing. :c
  12. Eh, I'd keep Infernape the way he is tbh. Sure, Heat Wave gets STAB as well as hitting in Triples. However, Fire Punch makes full use of Iron Fist, and Heat Wave would only be useful against Laura and Serra, anyway. I rarely see Titania do Triples, and it's Trick Room at that. Also, Heat Wave and Rock Slide have the same accuracy, so both can be pretty unreliable. You're better off keeping Rock Slide and having the chance of flinching, which can happen quite often. I do agree with Dragon Dance on Dragonite though, never know when you might want to take that band off. Though, personally, I never took the band off mine. Just something that's up in the air, I guess. I would also suggest Superpower over Brick Break on Scizor, but that's just personal preference. I think that's it.
  13. Pretty much what Blast said except instead of Energy Ball on Alakazam, give Gengar Giga Drain. Perhaps over Psychic. You could, however, give Alakazam Thunderbolt over Recover. I don't see him using it too much considering how frail he is. Other than that, very well done! 9.5/10 You're on your way to becoming another Reborn Champion!
  14. Really can't wait for that ladder reset. Guess I'll just save all my serious laddering for then. As for the new episode, from what I've played it was really fun. Y'know, except where Aya royally fucked my entire team for three hours. But, I learned my lesson! Get a better team! I'm really digging the story too, and the new wild Pokemon encounter music was really amazing. Actually had me looking forward to wild encounters instead of dreading them. So good job with that! One final note, Solaris or whatever his name was, was a badass motherfucker with that Garchomp. However, once I get Chunkybum, his ass is going down! please give me a dratini soon ame, please
  15. That feel when I still need to do that. That other feel when you fuck up your new keyboard and have to resort back to the old one that you fucked up last year. God dammit. :I Oh well, I liked typing with the old one more anyway. So I guess it really isn't that bad in the end... Still, I really know how to fuck up keyboards.. <<
  16. Note to self: Donn't spill tea onnnnnn your keyboard.

      Are you implying I was acting like a goon?! Oh god, tea was bad enough, I can only imagine what a Red Bull would do to a keyboard. ><

  17. http://prntscr.com/xpvka I forgot how tough Flobot was. I only won because the AI derped and Cradily didn't use Recover, but Curse. ;~;
    1. Bearadactyl

      Bearadactyl

      I only won because my Croconaw was able to Ice Fang and freeze it right off of the bat. After that, it was pretty smooth sailing.

  18. http://prntscr.com/xg0s1 I'm not... scared.... Nope.

      I see that and imagine Teemo facing Shyvana and I get very very happy.

      Well, the level cap at that point and time is 45. So, it's safe to say no one would be winning that battle. :P I did, however, manage to hit it once.

  19. Morgiana is so adorable! ;~;

  20. Hmm, I think I will try Seismitoad! Any sets you have in mind? As for the speed thing. Yeah, it's rather slow, and to be honest, a Tornadus-T would pretty much destroy my team. However, there isn't too much I can do about that since the team is based around a phasenite. I guess I could go with faster hazard laying Pokemon? I'm just not sure what to use, and don't want to alter my type synergy too much. The main reason I run sub is for switch ins and scouting. With Multiscale, Nite can live any unboosted attack regardless of if it's super effective, Sub works well with set up sweepers too, as I can sub on their Dragon Dance or Swords Dance, and then Dragon Tail them out the next turn. Regardless, I will try Draco Meteor and see how it does. Thankfully, I rarely see a Lucario, but I usually avoid using Dragonite until I have all my hazards up. So if he's at Full HP, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. As for Toed, went and switched to Perish Song. Thanks for the suggestions, and keep em coming if you have any.
  21. Been a while since I've done a theme tour. Count me in.
  22. Slippin' Slide! Hello once again, friends! I'm here to bring you yet another RMT, I hope you enjoy it! This team will focus mainly on a phasing Dragonite, so it should be interesting, at least. Without further ado, let's dive in. Team Building Process: Seeing as I was going to abuse Phasenite, I needed someone to set up rocks. I was originally going to choose Tyranitar, but since that would contradict Multiscale, I went with Terrakion here. Now, obviously, if I'm gonna use a Pokemon so weak to Rocks, I will need a proper spinner to get rid of them. I wanted someone rather fast, who could reliably spin while dishing out big damage at the same time. Thus, Starmie was the obvious choice. Weather is very helpful with a team centered around setting up hazards, and shifting the opponent around. Sadly, Rain was my best option since I was using Dragonite to do all the phasing for me. While it doesn't do additional damage, it does help weaken Fire moves, and gives Starmie a boost in case I screw up with my battle plan. Ferrothorn here is the main reason Rain is so important. But, I won't go into much detail there. Anyway, Ferrothorn's main purpose on the team is to set up Spikes, which alongside Stealth Rocks, makes Dragonite's job so much better. Here's the main Pokemon himself. As you may have picked up on, this is a Phasing Dragonite. His main purpose is to Dragon tail the opponents team around once all my hazards have been set up. The last member of the team is a Ghost we all know and love, Gengar! His purpose is pretty simple, spin blocking. After all, I can't have all my hazards being spun away. In Depth: @ Focus Sash Trait: Justified EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Swords Dance - Close Combat - Stone Edge Terrakion is a very useful lead, he's such a powerful threat in OU that most people will switch into that proper wall as soon as he shows up. Which is what makes him a great lead. He will almost always force a switch, making setting up my Rocks an easy task. The rest of the set is pretty much for a late game sweep in case my phasing fails. I have Swords Dance for a quick +2 attack, which hits everything hard with his nice dual STAB Close Combat and Stone Edge. The Focus Sash is for leads that could harm him, basically making setting up Rocks a sure thing. @ Life Orb Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Rapid Spin - Thunderbolt - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam Starmie, like mentioned before, is my Rapid Spinner. Of course, it's not the only thing it can do. I have Hydro Pump for STAB damage, and in Rain, nearly perfect accuracy and a nice damage boost along with Life Orb. Thunderbolt hits flying types like Tornadus hard, while Ice Beam hits Dragons and Breloom hard. Starmie also functions as a special sweeper in case things get rough. @ Leftovers Trait: Drizzle EVs: 192 HP / 252 Def / 64 SAtk Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Protect - Encore - Scald - Hypnosis Politoed is my physical wall, and weather set up Pokemon of choice. I have Protect to get more Leftovers recovery, while Scald is there in hopes of burning something, all while providing nice damage in rain. Encore really helps with set up sweepers like Dragonite, or Calm Mind Jirachi. And Hypnosis is there to put them to sleep should they stay in. I divided up the HP and SAtk evs so Toed could pack a little punch with Scald. @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Spikes - Power Whip - Leech Seed - Gyro Ball My special wall, and Spikes set up Pokemon. Ferrothorn is built to take anything special aimed at Politoed or Starmie, and setting up Spikes accordingly. Leftovers combined with Leech Seed helps him survive even longer, while Power Whip and Gyro Ball are for STAB damage should the need for attacking arise. I also put a little physical bulk in him in case he needs to take any stray physical attacking moves that threaten the team the most. @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Substitute - Thunder Wave - Roost - Dragon Tail Now for the best part. The Phasing Dragonite. I've grown to love this thing a lot. I will usually switch Dragonite in on Pokemon he can completely wall, like a Breloom. Set up a Substitute, and either Roost, or just phase the Pokemon out with a Dragon Tail. Thunder Wave helps Dragonite cope with his slow speed, since I don't have any speed evs. While Roost gains HP back. He's built to be specially bulky, so his phasing job becomes easier. I could split his defensive evs equally, but I'm not too sure if that would be of use or not. @ Black Sludge Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Substitute - Disable - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast This is your standard Sub+Disable Gengar. Gengar serves as the teams spin blocker, and provides extra resistance for the team as a whole. Substitute is nice to have on Fighting or spinning switch ins, since most can't touch Gengar, prompting a switch as you Sub. While Disable can take away the only thing they can hit you with, if they stay in. Shadow Ball gives a nice STAB attacking, and Focus Blast hits steel and dark types hard. I have Black Sludge for HP gain, also helps against trick should a Pokemon carry it. Like always, I hope you enjoyed the RMT, and you can find the importable below. Happy battling!
