  1. ... And now I have frostbites all over. My cousin lent me his notebook quite a while ago and it had Photoshop installed. I got curious, started to mess around with Glaceon's sprite. Eventually, the sprite became something else entirely. Very little of Glaceon was left, there are a few noticeable mistakes and some hints of laziness (lol) but I still find the results kind of cute and cool, so I decided to share them with you guys. Here it be: It's a mix of a few iconic animals that live in colder biomes: The long tail is reminiscent of a fox's or a wolf's; The increased size and slender build was made using liepard's sprite as a reference, but there are no felids built like that in northern places, so I think I could say it's build is more akin to that of a coyote's (long legs, slender neck, less bulk than a wolf, + the tail); As for the ears, I kept the standard fennek/hare-like ears so common among eevee and it's evolutions; Those "spikes" or "feather-like" protrusions: I felt like adding them, and I think they made it look rather stylish; my fondness of Okami might have played a part on my adding that that too... who noes. Feel free to share your thoughts, and if you don't like it please don't throw me banana peels, tomatoes or used underware. I have feels. Edit: A few more: A more dragon-like Salamence (I got pretty lazy doing the backsprite of this one so, sorry for that): A slightly different Garchomp (mostly an edit on the already existing): A recolored Braviary: And my favourite, and the hardest one to do:
  2. I'm actually scared of this puzzle. I can't fathom the amounts of insanity and evil trolling that it probably contains. I recall my first attempt at exploring the Carnelian Mountains when i think about it. Something like: "Good job spending one hour exploring this underwater maze--WITHOUT GOING UP TO FUCKING BREATHE! Your lungs are better than a motherflipping POLAR BEAR'S!!! And that resistance to these freezing, below zero temperatures? That's some crazy shit dude... Now you only need Waterfall to progress...HAHA. Get back all the way then come back once you can use it... I hope you remember where's the exit."
  3. First Ep 16 drawing closer and now this. May this new road be a smooth one.
  4. Nice of you to gather all of them. Them animations are all looking so amazing but that Blast Burn is my spirit animal. Some animations kinda take me back to gen III which is very nice.
  5. All of the animations shown so far are great, and I wonder if we'll get moves like brave bird or flare blitz animated in EP16 and how awesome they'll be. That said, I am quite curious about the sidequests and all their possible rewards. With the mega ring knockin' on Reborn's door, a few more mega stones are very likely rewards, new pokémon too, of course. However, I believe that the concern regarding endgame difficulty might result in Amethyst being somewhat economic in terms of rewards, which is good for the game, but bad for my heart... gimme Scyther pls . Reputation stuff could play out in so many interesting ways. Just imagine if after a few raids on Meteor, GGardevoir starts talking about your actions on TV, affecting certain npc's reactions when you interact with them or, when you rescue a pokémon, a few citizens could offer you intel on items and other mon locations leading to new quests and events. Overall, I'm really looking forward to whatever experiences Episode 16 might bring.
  6. Sometimes I allow my mind to wander off - a lot. When I'm not interested on a certain discussion, when something bothers me or thoughts of something interesting appear out of nowhere, it's like all things surrounding me vanish. It also happens in all kinds of situations, appropriate or not. I smoke. I'm purposely a jerk to people I don't like. I'm easy to anger. Whiny people piss me off the most. My laughter is too loud.
  7. Granted. It's made of crap tho. I wish to be a song.
  8. And as the Woopers were about to finally enjoy the freedom they so dearly dreamt of, a sadistic Aurorus brought doom upon them with Freeze Dry.
  9. Granted. The story became a corny romance full of drama. I wish for magic to be real.
  10. You mispelled Slowking as sloking and only now I realized that I misread your misspelling and forgotten that Slaking can't learn Psychic. My bad. Then the earth was torn apart, as Groudon's Fissure swallowed the awesome fire echidna.
  11. Rotom rocks! Don't associate it with groups other musical genders, or I'll haunt ya. Now that I think about it wouldn't it be awesome to have a rotom-possessed electric guitar? Anyway, a Jolteon named Sanic.
  12. ...but then, as that cronic - and unavoidable - truancy took it's hold upon the king of sloths, Aegislash, Slaking's most bitter nemesis, made it's presence known. Aided by the infamous Sacred Sword, the spectral weapon bestowed eternal rest upon the lazy monarch.
  13. While concerned about Bird Jesus, Rotom-Heat didn't notice death's presence. A mighty Tyrantrum gave Rotom-Heat the once through with Head Smash.
  14. In the pokemon world most people see Absol as a harbinger of disaster, and for this reason they hate it. Tauros are only found in the wild. Staraptor called Presley.
  15. The following isn't about a character but I feel it suits the thread so here goes: The first time I went into Shade's gym, I believed that all the incidents shown on the monitors could be avoided somehow, so I actually restarted my game (backed up the original save just in case) and searched high and low for a means to prevent Corey's suicide because, well, that's sad... long story short, this foolish attempt stole about 17 hours from my life. Now on to the characters: Thought Cain wouldn't be as prominent as he eventually became; Thought Luna would be forced to be on the run and become another travel homie of the player's; Thought Cal would be loyal to meteor and not a misguided dude; Thought M3G4 T3RR4 wouldn't be funny. Turns out she was a rather welcome change to the game's mood (to me that is); This might come as a surprise, but before interacting with Blake I thought he would be Reborn's Itachi Uchiha lol I really thought Gossip Gardevoir would spout some lines during our fight with Radomus. Thought Victoria would repace Kiki as fighting type leader.
  16. The Peridot Ward theme was very well placed, because it conveys the fact that Reborn is not your (100%) happy, dreamlike adventure. That single track carries tension, and in hindsight, foreshadows what to expect from the game. Beryl's theme is good, and again fits extremely well to the section to which it was assigned to. Considering the events that took place in Beryl both before and after the player arrives, the somber melody and the haunting sound of the organ are successful at creating a dark, desolate atmosphere. Catch my Dreams sounds epic and got me hyped for the game. Nuff Said. Summit, the Snowbelle City remix, sounds great, epic, chilly and for some reason, reminds of Okami. Again, nuff said. It doesn't matter the game or circumstance in which it is played. Be it a funeral, Christmas, a bar mitzvah, Independence Day or your Grandmom's birthday you can never go wrong with Mirror B's theme, because that song is as powerful as it is fabulous.
  17. Well, Ghost was basically chosen because I like Ghost types. And as for Stark, it's not as obvious as most would think because, although my fondness of House Stark from A Song of Ice and Fire played a part in my choice, what decided it was a personalty trait of mine.To avoid a litany, I'll just say that I'm not very forgiving towards people I don't like; and I tend to show my displeasure rather bluntly if they try to force their opinions - or even their presence - on me, though normally I'll avoid these people, if I can.
