Imagine being so bad at art that they think you are making fun of them.  Sad.

  2. this'll probably be my last post on the thread. mainly because i've said all my points and i'd be beating a dead horse by repeating them anymore. Of course I'll be responding to anyone who disagrees so we can have a discussion, but i doubt i'll be making anymore long posts like this. discord is my home
  3. I've seen some interesting points. Just gonna respond to what piques my interest. Won't be ordered or anything. Also messed up the formatting a little. Sorry about that.
  4. There's a few things wrong with this: First off, you played Reborn properly for the first time years ago. You had a lot more experience when dealing with Rejuvenation for the first proper playthrough, so your anecdote doesn't say much to your point. Also, of course harder is a subjective term, but that doesn't mean you can't conclude which game is harder using basic facts. Rejuv has earlier EVs, consistent strategies on Gym Leaders, more oppressive fights, and that's all just off the top of my head. You can argue for these things in reborn somewhat but not to the extent in Rejuv (Amaria is the 16th Leader in the game and gets obliterated by...everything. I've seen so many videos of people leading 1 mon against her and 6-0ing it's Ridiculous. Luna has been a meme for ages now. Radomus loses if he doesn't get trick room. None of this is oppressive or consistent.) Overall, yeah, it's possible to have a harder experience on Reborn then it is in Rejuv; But it isn't as though you can't deduce which one of the two is harder using basic facts that exist independent of a Player's gameplay. EDIT: Just found out evs, are default level x1.5 when not specified apparently. I'll admit this was ignorance on my end, but I hope i don't have to explain the big difference between Rejuv's early sensible EVs that are there specifically buff the Pokemon's performance and Reborn's evs that are basically handed out to the trainers by default with no real direction or strategy until Charlotte.
  5. These are the only parts I care to respond too. For difficulty, It's evident that you haven't played Rejuvenation in years. Rejuvenation's Intense mode offers a lot more then extra levels and a Legendary (New movesets, Pokemon, Items, strats, etc.). Reborn doesn't even start giving bosses EVs until Charlotte. The Reborn Gauntlet Pokemon have pathetic IVs that leave them liable to get one shot by anything. The Fiore Mansion gauntlet has no EVs on any of the Pokemon. The Hardest Sections of Reborn can barely compare to the easier parts of Intense Mode. Bosses in Rejuvenation like the Flying Leader and Rock Leader on Intense mode are crazy fights and I recommend you replay Rejuvenation entirely to get a fresh opinion on the gane. As for extra content...I don't see how you think this at all. Rejuv has a ton more sidequests that elaborate on the plot and provide character development. It literally has an extra game just to go in depth on the backstory of a single character. This shouldn't even be a question. Rejuvenation is far superior in this regard. I don't really care about the other stuff. I respect your opinion and right to have that opinion. I just recommend you replay Rejuvenation since it's clear you haven't played in a while. It's only fair to review a game after actually being knowledgable about it.
  6. this fight destroyed my family and took the kids
  7. Does Amber have a soundcloud? Does Crawli hate flies as much as we do? Stop dodging the real questions and answer what matters!!!1!1!
  8. I don't think the Glass gauntlet is that bullshit. Yes at first glance it's unfair but some pokemon like Mega Houndoom outright 36-0 the Glass Gauntlet. I personally obliterated the gauntlet with Gyarados and Metagross, and beat the final two with just Gyarados and Metagross. The only point I'd agree with is that the Gauntlet didn't really need to happen, as Bennett admits he could've just put us to sleep. It's only "bullshit" at first glance. Forum users haven't really caught up yet, but I can confirm that discord users regularly stomp the gauntlet with little to no effort, no items, and sometimes no ev training. That's not to sound like an elitist, but a well put together strategy makes this battle as hard, or as easy as any other one in Reborn. Honestly I'm surprised the first battle took you so many tries, given you had Aegislash which is like a free win to that battle. I just wanted to give my thoughts on the situation; I didn't just pop in to counter something you said and bounce. Keep up the playthrough.
  9. Does anyone happen to have the PBS files for Episode 4 of Deso? Kind of want to mess around with some fights but that's impossible without the PBS to my knowledge.
  10. Alolan Raichu, Infernape, and a ton of other Pokemon you've made crests for do not need them. No offense, but I mainly made that comment after seeing most of your crests. I like that you're enthusiastic about crests but I can tell you haven't used most of the Pokemon you're making crests for, which is probably something you should try out before making a crest for a mon. EDIT: To clarify: It isn't inherently bad to make a crest for a strong Pokemon, but it should have a reason to exist. In my opinion, it should change the style of play, and add something new or fresh to the Pokemon instead of just being a miniature mega evolution in disguise as a "Crest".
  11. Heads up: If you want a better chance of your crest being accepted in the chance they reopen submissions in the future. You should A. Consider that the developers are aiming for more gimmicky, fun, and original effects instead of just raw stat boosts. B. Give Pokemon that actually need crests, crests. If you haven't used the Pokemon, it's probably for the best you don't make a crest for them. The amount of suggestions I've seen for Pokemon that are fine on their own is honestly a bit ridiculous. For a better idea of things that actually need crests, you should look in the NU tier of Smogon or below. Everything above that is usable.
  12. For the sake of all that is holy, please do not give any OU mons or mons that are already great in rejuv a crest. Crests are meant to take mons that are looked down upon into the late game, not to make your favorite Pokemon ubers material. Anyways, while I'm here. Muk Crest: Swaps Defense with Special Defense, and makes any contact move used on it, apply Badly Poisoned status to the user of the contact move. Reasoning: "It is usually undetectable because it blends in with the ground. Touching it can cause terrible poisoning."- FireRed Dex Entry. You could change badly poisoned, to recoil against the user of the physical move too, and it would still make sense. You could also use that dex entry to justify it having a ground type motor drive of sorts, although that's skuntank's thing. An alternate cool idea would be to swap it's attack with it's special attack and a "Water Bubble" ability for poison. It is literally a giant glob of poisonous sludge. It's more then justified. Electrode Crest: Swaps Special Attack with Speed. If it gets hit with an attack before it moves, the next electric attack it uses would be twice as powerful . Reasoning: "SoulSilver: It stores an overflowing amount of electric energy inside its body. Even a small shock makes it explode." "X: It explodes in response to even minor stimuli. It is feared, with the nickname of “The Bomb Ball.”" Offers an alternative way of play. I think this makes the most sense for electrode, since outside a stat boost and maybe a free magnet rise, there isn't much else that fits, bar maybe an Electric type water bubble/Electric Surge, which aren't going to happen with 130 speed and decent spA for obvious reasons. And finally, the mon who deserves a crest most Greninja Crest: Applies Battle Bond and Water Bubble. Greninja is a very underused and garbage Pokemon. It's movepool is pretty mediocre and it's special attack and speed are dismal. I mean come on, getting outsped by Jolteon? Pitiful really. I think this crest would make it at least RU tier in Smogon, although given how bad the Pokemon is currently, there's no telling what would happen. But it's one of my favorites so I think you should give it a chance.
  13. We're just being jerks for no reason. Sorry, but I do think you made them all too easy. In theory a lot of this stuff could work, but we have access to every non legendary Pokemon in the game. Pokemon like Drampa and Chimecho simply aren't going to cut it for lategame.
