In gen 7 Chimeco's defense was dropped for hp and that's it. There's nothing phenomenal about that. And you're a fool to underestimate OU players. Literally anyone who's played the meta long enough knows that any non OU pokemon which is not much used that opponents bring will try and stall. Also there's the fact that OU is run by legendary Pokemon. You're honestly worrying about a Weavile when a Tapu Bulu could smash your Chimeco with Horn Leech? It's a good thing to try new stuff but seriously, get a grasp of the tier first.

Hydreigon needs to get Quiver Dance. It gets roost for some reason so anything is fine. That'll make it viable in OU again.

first off while quiver dance hydra would be legit real powerful, its still not nearly as broken as ddance garchomp would be.
also, legendary is just a general group of pokemon- being legendary doesnt automatically mean youre op as fuck. just look at things like kyurem, articuno, celebi, meloetta and of course regigigas.
thirdly, your idea to "fix" this is to buff regular pokemon, making the term legendary even more worthless in competitive. also ddance garchomp would go straight to ubers rather than making stuff like landerpus drop but hey.
if you want to play the game competitively but not meet too many legendary mons, just settle for lower tiers. ou is pretty ugly right now anyway, no thanks to stuff like toxapex, the tapus and landorus-therian running amok.

I've been replaying Pokemon Black 2. I have to say, nothing uptil now has managed to even come close to that game, except of course the original black and white. The beautiful beautiful bridges, the scenery, the little animations of variety of stuff and most importantly the music. I have never been so immersed into a Pokemon game because of the pure art. At least I just feel like playing the game just because it's beautiful. And you could literally go to any route and enjoy the theme. Go to the city to enjoy various music. The gym leader theme changing on the final pokemon. The PWT for great battles. The game has literally everything you want along with all the good stuff from the originals. My favorite place has to be Undella Town. It's so relaxing to be in and with the Marine tube it's just beautiful. I thought with the 3ds there would be even better graphics than Black 2/White 2 but literally all characters look like kids in the 3d games. I hope pokemon makes something as cool as this generation again.

It depends on team composition. Some will find her easy while others will have to reset 100 times. That's always been the case with every reborn gym leader and I don't see why it would change.

Honestly it shouldn't even matter that much. Literally any Pokemon team is possible at this point with the amount of Pokemon available. And I wonder if anyone will even use legendaries for the final fights in episode 19 if they're available. It's not like the game is unbeatable without them. And I personally wouldn't like to replace my members for others so late.

I use a Granbull with intimidate. It has 200+ attack EVs and other EVs invested in hp and defense. It took on Solaris's Garchomp when he comes to raid the house before flying gym leader. In a 1v1 Granbull won against it. So I'm all for it. It also helps when you need a physical attacker.

I don't know why you would use mega Sceptile when there are much better megas available but if you are using it's mega then a special moveset is of course good. Energy ball, dragon pulse, focus blast sound great. If you're not using a mega Sceptile then a physical set would be good too. Swords dance, leaf blade and two other physical moves. Combined with unburden and a berry to boost attack it'll be a great pokemon to get a temporary hyper offense.

Wow you sound so similar to Werster. I thought speed running this game would be impossible or something because this game does everything in it's power to deprive you of speed. Nice.

Oh lol yeah, completely forgot about that. I have a competitive Garchomp too so it should be easy. Well it still is too restricting. If catching a wild Pokemon in the grass outside doesn't help then I think it'll not be implemented. But I think you can catch a Noivern somewhere in the wild and scarfed Noivern is pretty fast. Highly doubt any ubers pokemon will be there as a serious opponent though.

Well everyone seems to be having problems comparing so lets take the latest generation. All pokemon are fighting in ultra sun and ultra moon. But there are no megas or z moves on any team. Now here are the two criteria to consider: 1) If you had to build a team to fight these champions in USUM without megas and z moves, who would give the toughest challenge? All pokemon except any legendary Pokemon or ultra beasts are allowed. And 2) In each respective generation, which Champion gave you the most trouble even after you knew how to use all three starters effectively?

Yeah, set up swords dance in shield form and hope Naganadel doesn't oko with flamethrower. Also hope that Aeigislash okos with swords dance shadow sneak. That would be too specific though and I don't really see another way to win the battle. Even a mega Metagross gets destroyed.

You'd have to bring in a steel type to resist dragon and not be affected by poison. Anything else gets bodied on the spot.

Lol literally anyone who wants a Hydreigon and is a fan of the Pokemon makes it a point to know how to get it. I only have two dark materials and a soul candle. Waiting for episode 18 to get the third material because I want to go through the entire quest and see what is the purpose of it. I have a feeling that it's something to do with Lin's history because her main pokemon is Hydreigon and a dark material can be found in the Arceus place. Anyways, I'll definitely get the last material and hopefully have my first 6 IV pokemon. Hydreigon is my favorite non legendary after all. -
@GS BALL You could take that logic but his title still says pokemon trainer Red even though he appears in the PWT in the champion category. So I'm only considering official champions whom you know you'll always find in the Pokemon league. @luis In gen 4 of course she's the champion so she's tough. But what if you compare her to other champion teams? And how about her difficulty in platinum as compared to Blue's difficulty in Pokemon Fire Red?

Here's their team for reference: Blue Heracross, Tyranitar, Arcanine, Gyarados, Venasaur and Alakazam Steven Skarmory, Armaldo, Cradily, Aggron, Claydoll and regular Metagross Cynthia Spiritomb, Rosarade, Garchomp, Togekiss, Lucario, Milotic Iris Hydreigon, Aggron, Salamence, Lapras, Archeops, Haxorus Haven't included other champions from any generations because I don't think they're worth mentioning. Also no mega Metagross for Steven because it would be highly unfair as no other games have been remade to fit in megas. My personal opinion is between Blue and Iris. Blue because of his op team and Iris because of dragon dance Haxorus.

Do a simple mulch quest and free Magnezone. Back in episode 15, this is the bs you had to go through to get yourself a Magnezone. There will be a huge strength puzzle and everything. Watch a video on how to get the Yuryeu Key. You'll understand. -
I still don't understand how some people call Noivern useless. I took on Titania's Excadrill one on one with my EV trained Noivern and won that with flamethrower or I think dragon pulse because of the feild. Maybe you just need the correct team to use it in. I didn't even bother changing the terrain so I really can't understand.

Basically what @DevR said for male espurr which becomes male Meowstic. It walls pretty nicely and provides great support. This of course eats up a slot on your team so it means less offense. For terrain change just get a Budew and make it a Rosarade. It has grassy terrain which restores hp and destroys the opponent strategy. It won't work for Florina but rest all should be easy. Plus it's a decent attacker so that's a benefit. If you choose female espurr then female Meowstic is a great sp attacker for the game because it does good damage. But Gardevoir does everything better and is the main core of many teams in Reborn because of dual typing plus damage and decent sp defense. Overall you could choose to use an Espurr but know that there are better pokemon out there.

Frogadier, Nidorino, Snubull as permanent members. Trubbish for toxic spikes on Florina. Pansear for your rival whom I ditched later for Tepig.
