  1. Taka tried to prove himself to his family and team meteor but decided it was enough and quit. I think that's definitely a positive change.
  2. I entered stats for modest Dieno at level 1 with zero EVs and it says that sp attack IVs could be anywhere between 0-31. So it's basically clueless. At level 10 however on entering the highest stat it said the sp attack IVs could be 24-31. Does this mean that I have to level up the Pokemon just hatched from the egg so that IVs can be predicted better? Is that normal to do or is there an easier method to simply determine IVs?
  3. For Hardy's team Luna already uses a Tyranitar. I don't think gym leaders repeat pokemon. Also instead of Archeops it is probably going to be Mega Aerodactyl which can sweep easily. Aggron might be banded and definitely wouldn't have endure. Gigalith's only stab move would definitely not be smack down. Try Stone edge instead(Rock Slide if Hardy copies Aya's double battle style). You also forgot pokemon like Armaldo, Caracosta, Bastiodon and Rampardos. Each one has it's niches like swords dance, shell smash, metal burst and the highest attack stat in the game using STAB Headsmash without recoil. Don't know on what basis those levels have been chosen but nothing is going above 90 because we as trainers can't use pokemon above level 90 either. Reborn isn't about grinding but feild effects so it's all going to be capped at 90 I think. Sirius is not the ultimate member of Team Meteor. Lin is. We may have to battle him though but I don't know if he'll have a Pokemon called Eclipse or not. Don't see any relationship there. @Ghost141 Mega Salamence?!! How in the ever loving name of god are we supposed to beat that? If Titania didn't have a Mega Metagross then Saphira isn't going to get a mega frickin Salamence which is straight up Ubers and that too in a broken ass feild like dragon's den. Also Hydreigon is Lin's signature pokemon. Don't think it'll be repeated. Same goes for Garchomp. One psuedo is enough to handle. And Salamence is Heather's signature pokemon so yeah, that's not happening.
  4. I'm officially into breeding pokemon. It all started on Reborn. During episode 15 I EV trained my main team members. Of course after EV training the immediate next thing that comes to mind is IV breeding. My first IV bred pokemon was a Goomy. Only 3 perfect ivs but I learnt so much stuff. Reborn is essentially a free breeding simulator. I can see IVs and EVs of all my Pokemon perfectly in Reborn and can change nature at will. This makes it extremely easy to breed pokemon in the game and I love it. Problem is that this is never going to be a thing in official Nintendo games. So my question is exactly how do I breed properly in Pokemon Black 2? I'm playing it on an emulator but don't want to cheat. I'll beat the champion sometime but then it's all about the PWT where every Pokemon has perfect IVs and EVs. I want to breed at least a Hydreigon properly so that it'll be good in the tournament and even the battle subway. But how do I see what IVs and EVs my Pokemon has? How long does it take to get a good nature even with the everstone gimics? When do I know to use a destiny knot? How to know when the EV training is complete? If someone who's done breeding before could help then it would be appreciated. I just want to breed my favorite Pokemon properly once for the fun of it. Thanks.
  5. Hurrah. I guess I know my Charizard replacement now. Mega Metagross, Garchomp, Volcarona, Greninja are my final team members for now. Only need Volcarona. Let's see what other broken pokemon are going to be released. If there's a Zapdos released sometime then the team is set for life. Or maybe I'll just breed myself an unburden Hawlucha with a Salac Berry or something. Maybe even one of the reborn special seeds.
  6. Nidoking as a ground type which translates to Garchomp 90% of the time. Gyarados as a water type if nothing good is available. Rest all team members are whomever I feel like I've not used in a long time.
  7. If Garchomp is available then Salamence should be too though I agree that it's mega might be too broken for the Saphira gym battle. I highly doubt Larvesta is going to be released. Even if only rock and dragon are left for gym leaders, quiver dance Volcarona with fiery dance is too op. If there's no stealth rocks on the feild then it's basically free set up and sweep. Froakie should definitely make it. I use a Greninja as my starter Pokemon and even with the life orb, protean and 31 sp attack ivs there are times when you just need to switch it out. And since battle bond is never going to be available for some reason, Greninja is never going to get better than what it already is. It's also super frail so even rock types should be able to endure hits in sandstorm and take it out. Blaziken might be released because bulk up speed boost isn't enough to dish out massive damage. Also it takes damage on one turn which is basically always taking damage of half it's hp. If it doesn't kill the next turn then it always dies. And the gym leaders are rock and dragon which easily take it on. Snivy should make it but I'm a bit iffy about it because Contrary Leaf Storm can really mess up someone's day. And the other sp attacks it can use after Leaf Storm are pretty threatening as well. Scyther obviously won't make it because technician Mega Scizor with swords dance bullet punch is too op.
  8. It's called marketing. If it wasn't obvious enough from the double megas of Charizard, gamefreak doesn't care about competitive viability. You do understand that if Delfox became popular enough, it would get a mega evolution with soul heart or something as an ability and with great defenses? Bam, straight to OU. Any Pokemon can be made the best by gamefreak. Charizard was NU. But now it's megas have a permanent spot in OU. I love Charizard and Greninja so I'm fine with these megas and bond stuff but I understand how unfair it is. This is how gamefreak works though so there's nothing anybody can do about it except try to make the Pokemon get more attention.
  9. A Rosarade needs Extrasensory and Sludge Bomb which it doesn't get on level up. Plus Dragalge nukes harder and takes hits better. It also gets Draco meteor which is the ultimate nuke though you might have to wait a while for it to learn that.
  10. @Wolfox The reason why I praise Emboar is because it is part of my reborn team. And by part of my Reborn team I mean right from the moment I caught it in the mountain to the latest gym. I caught Tepig as soon as I got to the mountain(basically when we fight Kiki) because I really wanted a good fire type and pansear wasn't cutting it. I have never ever been so happy with a fire type before. I honestly have used Emboar in every Pokemon white playthrough I have done on emulator because I like fire types but using it in reborn opened my eyes you can say. It's EV trained in hp attack and defense and it does a great job at taking hits. Offensively of course it hits like a heavy truck. Especially when I learnt what reckless did, this pokemon became a crucial part of my offense. And it hasn't disappointed yet. It kills something when I need it to because of that massive attack stat. Only it kills itself in the process so potions are a must for it. But Emboar definitely okos two to three pokemon before going down and takes hits like a champ. Delfox is good with psychic moves but that's it. Many pokemon articles have said, "Delfox is good at being good for nothing". It's true because it doesn't hit hard enough nor does it survive for long enough to set up. Delfox always dies in the process of trying to be good for me. Which is why Emboar is better because it can take a hit. If Emboar takes a hit then it returns it with a kill. Delfox tries to kill and fails, tries to set up but still doesn't help much. This is from my experience of using both pokemon in Reborn.
  11. Yep then you couldn't catch it anyways. The Pokemon are too angry to be caught so any shiny is just for looks.
  12. I chose Greninja as my starter for Reborn and haven't regretted it even once. First time I was actually using a gen 6 pokemon. I also did an event and got myself a Feniken. I raised it into a Delphox and used it for wild battles. It's a cool pokemon to use with interesting gimics but is definitely the weakest fire starter among the first six generations. Charizard with it's mega, Typhlosion with it's move pool, sp attack and speed, Blaziken with speed boost and mega, Infernape with Iron fist and huge speed+attack and Emboar with Reckless who gets Flare Blitz, Head Smash and Wild Charge effectively doing even more damage than a sheer force Darmanitan. The Fox however doesn't have any niche or offensive power and there are much better support pokemon available in Meowstic who outclass Delfox and are much more easily available. All in all, Delfox is a great design but is the worst fire type starter to use among the six generations.
  13. Was this a wild encounter? Or is this Buffolaunt from trying to ride the Tauros part where you have to battle one of the Pokemon to get help from the other? Because if it's trying to get help part then you can't catch it. It always swats away the PokeBall. I found a shiny Heracross in one of the Pinsir vs Heracross battles but couldn't catch it because it swatted away the PokeBall.
  14. Wouldn't Lin know to not underestimate us? I think you mean the opposite way by actually meaning that shouldn't we underestimate Lin. If you remember, Ame got clapped by Lin and her Hydreigon. Ame was the CHAMPION of Reborn. If she didn't stand a chance then us as the player will have a huge problem too. And if we get to side with team Meteor then I'm saving the game right there and doing both the routes. Don't care about morals, Lin is awesome enough for me to want to work with. And she has my favorite Pokemon of all time, Hydreigon. Also us as the player have the pendants and we haven't given it to Victoria or Arclight so I don't think they'll be much involved.
  15. For Reborn there are two ways to play the game. The first method is to constantly switch out your Pokemon with new ones available for beating one gym and dumping them in the pc. Many people do this and especially in the early stages because it's easier to beat gyms. The second method is to stick to six pokemon no matter what. I always stick to my six pokemon by concentrating on type diversity. Your team seems to not have diversity which will really affect your playthrough. This is my team: Emboar= Fire/Fighting Greninja= Water/Dark Noivern= Dragon/Flying Magnezone= Electric/Steel Nidoking= Poison/Ground Granbull= Fairy All my Pokemon except Granbull have dual typings. Thus I can hit many pokemon with a range of attacks that are super effective 90% of the time. Add some bulk to these pokemon by hp or defense ev training and they can take care of any gym. I'm saying this because instead of asking what pokemon are good or what to catch, you should focus on dual typings and bulk. Once you have that then improvisation will win you every battle. You may find new favourites in Pokemon as well.
  16. Yeah I'm not the type of guy who likes spoilers on the game so I don't ask beta testers about the story at all. I don't even watch my favorite youtubers play the game if they start before me because I want a first hand experience. This game is just so engrossing that it's always worth the wait. I always wait for version X.1 instead of X because usually all the bugs are completely fixed and there's smooth gameplay. So maybe it'll be September for me anyways. Thanks for the heads up though, appreciate it. Oh and is 180 pokemon in the Pokedex enough or a certain number would be better?
  17. We basically collect all the bracelets and gems and stuff which Solaris needed to open the gate below Obsidia ward. So she probably feels like we are basically working for her because we will be easy to convince or beat.
  18. Oh wow the next episode is coming out in a month fully ready? Damn I literally just finished all the side quests until episode 17 or at least ones I could spot anyways. So in September there's the new episode. Would say can't wait but I'll have to hope that I actually get an internet connection on my pc again. Good luck to the development team.
  19. Lol so fast. I got my dark material too so I'm happy. It was super easy.
  20. Yeah they do. I'll tell you right now, you'll need a Caravanah, Unfezeant any form and a Luxray. So keep those pokemon ready.
  21. @UnicornJesus Thanks so much. Theses videos are really helpful because at least I know where to look for the second one. You're right, I have the first one already. Thanks.
  22. Arclight should be outside the building of North east obsidia ward I think. It's really north in the ward.
  23. @Trufa My pc has no internet connection and I have my Pokemon reborn save file on my pc so I can't go online and trade with anybody. I'm accessing this site via phone only. @UnicornJesus Trade with someone meaning in game right? Or is it just completely removed from the game and only few players have one to give? Because in episode 18 every single pokemon is supposed to be available except legendaries so all 3 dark materials should be available in the game. I have one already which is probably from the secret room.
  24. @Trufa I know you could but I won't be able to trade to get it so it's fine
  25. @UnicornJesus Assault vest is available if I renovated the railway? Then I must have missed it because I did renovate the railway to get a Magikarp. If there's another dark material then I'll definitely go and get it. Hydreigon is one of my favorites after all. I could get a 5iv Metagross but that would take insane amounts of luck, considering my ditto only has 31 speed ivs with rest everything being bad. I wish I could trade but no internet on the pc so no way to get a better ditto. Thanks for the info.
