  1. Where art thou....Metagrossite Went and caught a beldum. Had a really bad ditto but that was the only option. After two and half hours I got this beldum which is now a Metagross. I really can't hope for any more luck with ivs than I've gotten right now. Would have loved the perfect 31 but 30 isn't bad considering that it's just one stat point at level 100. Rest all moves were learnt naturally by level up. Just need to get it up to level 90, get the Earthquake tm and get a Metagrossite. Then I'm set with this pokemon. I guess this is also my counter for Hardy if I get into trouble with my regular team. An assault vest would be great but doesn't seem like it's available so leftovers will have to do for now. Also does someone know that for the Dieno event how many dark materials are required? I only have one from the Arceus place and I know there's one in the next episode. So do I need one more or just these two?
  2. Huh. Well I guess I'm the only guy who goes along with the same pokemon throughout the game. I thought it was more common to not change teams because it's more easier to adapt to challenges and you thoroughly know the capabilities of your pokemon. Also it's more fun for me that way so yeah.
  3. Serra. Magneton was a solo sweep. Adrien got swept by Nidoking and Magnezone. Maybe the normal type guy because Emboar and Granbull killed his team.
  4. To beat Adrien get yourself a Nidoking and a Magnezone. They have Sludge Wave as an easy tm and Flash cannon as a natural level up move. Adrien gets swept by those two with some minute improvisation on your part. If you go to the east of Calcenon city there is a pretty decent chance of finding wild Audino. That's probably the best place to grind at that point in the game because of the easy to kill and high exp giving pokemon. I would know because I spent entire months of episode 16 ev training and grinding other Pokemon there.
  5. Hmm that's true I guess. I felt that Magnemite was under appreciated because I never bothered using it but maybe now it's too popular. I'd never even thought that I would ever use a trubbish to beat the grass gym leader but it turned out to be the mvp. Maybe Togedamaru would do the same. You mean really really really late in the game. Like after battling the flying type gym leader late in the game. Like when your Pokemon are level 60 late into the game. Yeah no, nobody is going to bother changing their team at that point. It needs to be available when it's relevant at least because it's not as popular as a Garchomp or Metagross that everyone would love to improvise it into a team.
  6. Nah that would make the game too tough because of no good bulky pokemon available which also resists a ton of stuff
  7. @Abyssreaper99 The only other electric steel type is Togedamaru which no one would probably even bother picking up. Klink is pretty decent steel type but then the player is deprived of a strong electric type that resists stuff. Honestly with so many pokemon that are difficult to obtain and with the overpowered field effects of gym leaders, there should be the easy availability of at least one pokemon that can carry a team through. Getting the Yuryeu key was a disaster for me because of the horrendous puzzle. With the key you could evolve Magneton into Magnezone. I think the puzzle is changed now but it was still bearable because you could get a Magneton without it and the offensive stats of Magneton and Magnezone are the same. But depriving the player of a whole good pokemon for a long time by locking it up behind a puzzle, especially after their team is probably already built is pretty bad.
  8. @Bignoob27 You can find Magnemite freely roaming about Shade's gym. That should stay as it is. And I didn't receive an egg either I think.
  9. Trying to clear an accounting exam which is really tough. After that internship I guess.
  10. I just want victory road to have fully evolved wild Pokemon that people spent hours on getting so that everyone feels like it was useless trying to catch them anyways lol. Especially there should be psuedo legendaries like Metagross, Garchomp etc. Then it would really feel like a victory road made to discourage everyone.
  11. @Wolfox Hmm, that way I can use whatever I like. But will it actually be necessary is the question here.
  12. @Abyssreaper99 Ah okay, looks like the end is getting near. Thanks.
  13. Alright, I've just been reading some of the posts on the forum. Apparently episode 19 is the last episode and episode 18 unlocks every single pokemon ever available apart from legendaries. I think we're on episode 17 right now? This means that after episode 18 there will either be some major team changes or maybe everyone will just roll with their trusted partners from the beginning. My trusted partners which have gone through every single gym till now are as follows(they are EV trained only): Emboar, Greninja, Noivern, Nidoking, Magnezone and Granbull. These pokemon provide excellent type coverage and pretty much are good for any battle because of huge type diversity. While these may be my long trusted partners, they aren't the most strongest pokemon out there. Also, none of these pokemon have a mega evolution and Greninja will never get battle bond. My favorite Pokemon team which I would love to use in any game consists of these pokemon: Sceptile, Charizard Mega X or Y(I have but a bad one), Gyarados(Have obtained), Greninja(Have Obtained) Electivire(Have Electabuzz but not Electivire), Hydreigon, Garchomp(Have Obtained), Tyranitar and Metagross. Maybe Nidoking(Have Obtained) because it's just so diverse but it's still outclassed. My reborn team obviously only has Greninja and Nidoking. My question is that would it be worth it to go out on a hunt for these pokemon once episode 18 is released and change my team ? And is it actually necessary for beating the game? My current team already has no megas so that is a big power cut but these pokemon are not the hardest hitters too. Do comment your guy's opinion and also your team if you want. With the end near, I feel like blazing through the game might be better but maybe a stronger team would be necessary.
  14. Wait is episode 18 already out? I thought we were still on episode 17. How come an available list for episode 18?
  15. Idk about others but this is the team I used to beat Titania. It's not something specifically made to beat her, I was too lazy and stubborn to go back and change mons. Emboar, Greninja, Noivern, Magnezone, Nidoking and Granbull. I remember taking out her Excadrill with focus sash Noivern because it was slower than Noivern or something. Emboar tore half her team with no problem. Nidoking helped too. Her Aeigislash was handled by Greninja because it lived a hit from full hp with 3 hp and was able to kill with dark pulse. That's all really. Nothing to big with this fight. Edit: I forgot to mention that all my pokemon are ev trained and even Greninja has 12 evs in hp because this is just in game so it needs to take hits. Maybe EV training your pokemon might also help.
  16. Again completely forgot about Aerodactyl and Tyranitar. Luna uses a Tyranitar though so I'm expecting Aerodactyl. Mega Aerodactyl is seriously op. I used to use it all the time in uu to anhilate teams. Just haven't visited the game in so long that I forgot about it. Now Hardy is starting to seem like a threat. This is gonna be a good battle then.
  17. @Monochrome_Complex Lol well Solrock and Lunatone are those team meteor double admin's aces or something I think? It would be pretty crazy if Hardy started using trick room. I mean Randomus already did that. I also completely forgot about sandstorm and how it helps rock types. And I may sound dumb but I don't think there is a rock type mega evolution yet so the only thing I would expect is a mega Aggron. The only reason Amaria was tough was because of that bs feild effect. It really messed up my battle style. I don't think Hardy would be so easily improvised over. Also as @Archeric said, dusk form Lycanrock with accelrock and a z move be really bad. But I'm still pretty lax for some reason. Just can't seem to take rock types seriously.
  18. Idk, just felt like Hardy would have that kind of country side accent. But seriously, is anyone even bothering to prepare to fight him? I'm 90% sure that he would be a gym leader in episode 18 whom we have to defeat. I had a Donphan which I ev trained for Titania but didn't need to use even once. Now I have a Donphan and an iv bred, ev trained Garchomp. Also an iv bred ev trained Froakie, plus an EV trained Greninja and some other mons whom I had no intention of raising for Hardy but they just so happen to be there. So everyone just gonna go yolo because rock is the easiest type in the game or actually going to try and beat him with special pokemon?
  19. @DevR Oh that would explain why everyone is saying that she's easy. Looks like I had it pretty rough with her hyper offensive bulky combo. It's pretty bad when she kos all damage dealers in the start. Too bad that Ame had to nerf her a bit.
  20. I fought Corey in episode 15. Was he easier then? Because I defeated him in two tries no problem. Aya on the other hand...now that's a tough battle. If I'm not mistaken she opens up directly with the king and queen of poison types (Nidoking and Nidoqueen). Absolutely no water type move at that point in the game is capable of one shotting both the Pokemon together. I had a Frogadier with water pulse which I had to rare candy into Greninja to actually do some damage. And she has op stuff like Gengar and super bulky poison types. Honestly it all came down to my Magneton not getting hit by a move on one turn so that I could do enough damage to kill her final pokemon. It was a truly tough battle which took me at least 10 tries no joke. The easiest gym leader though definitely has to be Seirra. Get yourself a flash cannon Magneton and it one shots every single one of her pokemon. Kiki was easy because I had a Granbull while Samson was able to counter my Pokemon pretty easily. But having a hurricane Noivern,Granbull and an Emboar really did help me win so it wasn't that different from other gym leaders. Side note, Luna is the best gym leader by far because of her pure offensive team. The battle was literally me one shotting her first pokemon, then she one shotting my first pokemon, me okoing her second and she immediately returning the favour. This kept on going till we had one pokemon each. Thus it was definitely the best battle I've ever had.
