    The pokemon that are not fainted are supposed to be fully healed. But those that have fainted are supposed to stay fainted. Weird I know but that's how the mechanics was.

    People leave, time vanishes and life goes on. My suggestion is to complete any work before dedicating your time to other people. If you can't constantly stay in touch with others you'll be even sadder when they leave.

    How long do people breed to get 5 IV pokemon in Reborn? After breeding for 5 hours my Larvesta has 31 in hp, sp attack and speed while it has only 29 in defense and 30 in sp def. The defense and sp def just doesn't want to go higher. It's so annoying.

      I would still say you are set with 3IVs, a 30, and a 29,  all in the relevant stats.  Going any more when you aren't breeding for online trading (a al the old Trading Guild) is just torture for no real gain.

      oh wow PC without internet rip fam 😢 in that case it's normal for it to take time, be patient or not - since you can very well play Reborn without perfect IVs hehe

      I get my 5iv mons extremely quickly.

      getting the perfect 5iv mon I want is a different story, especially if its shiny.

      Like I got plenty of larvestas and breedjects and shit In fact I breed so much I have about 60 competative mons I can use

      Box 1 is Phyiscal Attackers and some Bagons

      Box 2 is SpA. The Kelfkis, Scyther, and Rotom in the bottom are there because I'm trading those to someone

      Box 3 is bit different. the Top row is mons that are like for specific strategies like doubles or sand storm compositions. The other row is those that I need certain megas/z-crystals for them to really be amazing

      Box 4 the first row along with the Grubbin are for a Trick Room team, the 3rd row is utility, 4th row SpD Tanks, 5th row DEF Tanks

      and these are all of the spare 6iv mons I have

      I am pretty sure I have like 20 boxes or more filled with breedjects, most of those being around 155 5iv beldums cuz I really wanted that shiny

    One thing bad about reborn is the goal oriented approach of us, the player. We'll do anything to reach an end. Simon delivers Tara's probably dead body, let's just go and steal a shiny charm from her room. Want an axew? Go steal an egg from it's loving parents. Want a Bagon? Specifically go to it and teach it how to fly. Our character may be perceived as good because we "help" others but remember that if getting the earthquake tm involved burying people under a cave, we would do that too.

      while this is true, I have to greatly disagree. as said before, this is not an issue of the game and probably more one of you personally. Plus, you can never please everyone. example: If you grant people the same reward for the choice no mater what, then why ever make it a choice? it will feel like your choices simply don't matter (which in that case will be the case).

      Yes I understand your point. All I'm going to say is this. 

      When we read Titania's diary, she gives us a hell of a lecture. Maybe other events should have some sort of indicative basis as well. And maybe we should be able to reverse some choices after hearing the other person. For instance in the shiny charm we could show it to Tara's father and if he asks to return it then we make our final choice. 

       

      This topic could also be argued upon a lot so I won't go further but I feel like some sort of interaction or warning could add more life to the player than simply a person who'll do anything to get what they want. 

      And at the end of the game we are informed of all our choices and how we affected some people. In a sense it's like Undertale I guess.

      Hi I don’t have a comment about the gray areas of morality in Reborn but the Shiny Charm comes from Eclipse’s room, not Tara’s.  Tara is dead at the bottom of a lake.

    Randomus of course. You don't know how life will be so just do your best and let it take it's course. He's also one of the most interesting characters for me and episode 18 was the best one because of it. I don't really care for his gimics with his hats but he is a pretty thoughtful guy who just wants his family.

    Lol the game is not hard. Just remove the field effects and it's a regular pokemon battle. But for episode 19 you'll need iv bred and ev trained pokemon. To change the field get a Budew and change the field to Grassy Terrain. The entire field vanishes apparently and you can have a normal pokemon battle. Also stealth rocks won't be useful until late in the game so don't even bother with that. Like I said, just change the field. The difficulty in this game is that you won't get proper pokemon or items until you spend an hour trying to get something. Because literally all powerful pokemon are available very late or you need to solve a puzzle which is tough. Otherwise I don't think there are any problems. Well, good luck with your team. Just get like 4 wall breakers of different types and you're set.

    Okay so no ice beam and earthquake. Thunderbolt is a quest in Agate city. Yeah you can probably steal his item by using thief but I don't know the exact process. And I don't think that this is the intended way to get a choice scarf but I just might try it out of desperation.

    Doesn't seem like anyone made an item finding guide. I'm looking for the following stuff : Choice Scarf Earthquake Ice Beam Thunderbolt Metagrossite is in episode 19 I think. If anyone could comment these locations that would help. Thanks.

    Have Garchomp and Greninja. Currently breeding Volcarona. Going to re breed metagross to get perfect ivs. Already caught a Hawlucha. So have to breed Magnemite, Metagross and Hawlucha while currently breeding Volcarona. 

    As for items I only need a choice scarf for Garchomp and a Metagrossite. Have life orb, firium z, leftovers and elemental seed. 

    Also need Earthquake for Garchomp,  Ice Beam for Greninja and Thunderbolt for Magnezone. Need to teach Metagross ice punch as well. 

     

    This might take a bit.

    Okay no gen 8. I bet including gen 8 would make events even more confusing.

    Looks like it's going to be a long wait. Well, at least everyone can build up their team from scratch to whatever they want. And I bet there's a ton of side quests. Even then the game will probably not be played after a month for a long time(for me at least). Oh and maybe gen 8 gets implemented too since it's releasing in 2019.

    Better electric type between Magnezone and Electivire for setting up electric terrain and switching out?

      Zone (almost) guarantees getting it up because of sturdy and is a bit bulkier, but electivire is faster. I'd give it to Magnezone

    Volcarona and Greninja have their own events so you can catch them whenever you want.

    Rate reborn team which I plan on making. Already have 4 of the 6 pokemon needed.

    Here are the Pokemon I think will be best. Replace Golurk for Garchomp. Get yourself a mega Gardevoir. Replace Houndoom for Volcarona. Replace Kingdra with Greninja Replace Toxicroak with Mamoswine Keep your Magnezone. You now have two ground types but Mamoswine is pretty bulky so if you don't get hit by it's weaknesses, you should be good.

    I'm thinking I should run Mega Metagross, Garchomp, Greninja, Volcarona, Hawlucha. Now I need an electric type. If there aren't any bulky electric types then maybe I'll have to switch out something.

    I would say you name your character as James. No, it's not bias to your profile picture. James is a person who uses any pokemon no matter what. He'll catch all odd pokemon and love them and use them in battle. This play through is very similar to that kind of personality so I would suggest James as the name.
