... Why does Texen look thicc?

YES! Very short part but I enjoyed it. It's weird to see her not want to do the league at 1st but I guess that's why I'm also into it. Can't wait for the next part! ^_^

I know I'm a bit late to this buuuuut you should do what you want. Although, now I'm really curious to see what you've gotten so far on your Reborn Story.

I started to try to find Melia on the ship although, I wasn’t really speeding around the ship looking for her. I still had this hatred for her because she let my mom die. It just kept playing through my mind on how she could have saved her but she didn’t. Instead, she was playing dress up and pretending to be Emma for whatever reason. As I made it outside of the ship onto the deck, the slight breeze that I could feel was calming me down. But that all quickly vanished when I heard Valarie calling me over to her, which is where Melia was. Aelita was there too. The 3 of them looked at me in an awkward way. I couldn’t blame them. Even Melia. Speaking of which, she was the 1st 1 out of us to break the silence. Melia: So you came after all Matt… I’m gl- Matthew: Look, can we just get to the point of this little meeting? Melia: Ahh… Of course… I actually called you 3 here so that I could appropriately apologize for the things I’ve done under the alias “Emma.” Matthew: Like apologizing for that is really gonna do anything. Valarie: Matt, you haven’t even let her explain anything yet. Matthew: Psh. Whatever. Melia: I had to win their trust and keep it at all costs. So… I did and said things I shouldn’t have and I regret it. Every single 1. Aelita: Well… I’m still a little salty but I suppose you did rescue me from my cell. Valarie: Well… I still think that comment you made about me was completely unnecessary. Melia: I know and I’m so sorry about that. You have no idea how bad I felt for saying that. Valarie: But I guess you had your reasons. So just this once, I’ll let it slide. Melia: I did. I did have my reasons. But that doesn’t excuse anything for what I’ve done. Aelita: And what exactly were those reasons? Matthew: …Yea. I’m curious too. Melia: I was tasked with saving everyone from Team Xen and to investigate castle. Matthew: -thinking to myself- Wait. Tasked? Melia: I’m not sure if you all are aware of this but there are 2 structures on the island. Valarie: Hmm… Now that you mention it, I do remember Braixen saying something about that. But we never got to discuss it with everything going on. Melia: Well apparently, there’s something hidden in that 2nd structure. In fact, it’s so secret, not even Team Xen Admins are authorized entry. Matthew: You’re joking right? Melia: Why would I joke about that? I guess it was put there so no 1 intruded. It’s some sort of invisible barrier. Matthew: Yea yea… Melia: Anyways, I just started to snoop around the castle to find a way to get rid of that barrier. Unfortunately though, I couldn’t find a thing. There wasn’t enough time. Matthew: Ha! So it was a waste of time is what you’re saying? Figures. Valarie: Alright alright. So let me get this straight… You created this “Emma” person so that you could investigate in peace. Is that right so far? Melia: You are correct. Yes. Matthew: Why? Why would you do that? Melia: Well if I was thrown into prison with everyone else, I wouldn’t be able to get anything done. Despite being angry at Melia, I couldn’t help but agree, to myself that is, that if she were thrown into prison with the rest of us, her movements would indeed be limited. Still, I was angry with her for not trying to do something to save my mother. But even with her freedom, she apparently found nothing. Which didn’t exactly help the situation with how I was feeling about her right now. Melia: However, I did find out 1 thing. Aelita: And what would that be? Melia: Neved told me that Team Xen is trying to gather energy. Specifically from humans. Matthew: Wait. Humans? Valarie: Why humans specifically? Melia: I cannot tell you because he wouldn’t be clear with me. Everything he told me was cryptic. Matthew: Well… I guess you did find something useful after all. Although, I don’t know how useful that really could be. Melia: Ahh… Yes I suppose… But 1 thing’s for sure. There’s definitely something special about humans that Team Xen is after. Valarie: What I’m curious about is why you didn’t let us help you. Melia: While I can’t disagree, I also couldn’t risk blowing my cover at any point. Who knew if Neved had fake prisoners placed around as spies? I didn’t want to take that chance. Matthew: What?! I was with them though! You saw that! How can you say that you couldn’t take a chance if I was with them?! Melia: …No offense Matt but you didn’t know either. Matthew: Ha… Wow Melia. You know, I was the only 1 that believed you weren’t dead when everyone else thought you were! Melia: I… Uhh… Hmm… Aelita: Speaking of which, that Madame X person said she thought you were dead. What’s the story behind that? Matthew: Yea. Seriously. The hell happened to you? Melia: Ohh right… Well to make a long story short, I was rescued by 2 people. Their names are Spacea and Tiempa. Matthew: Spacea and Tiempa? What kind of names are those? Aelita: Matthew, let her finish 1st. Melia: They helped me fake my death and erase myself off Team Xen’s radar. Matthew: Well I guess what you did back at the castle undid all of that. Melia: Uhh… Yea… I guess it did huh? But still, if it wasn’t for them, I don’t know what would have happened to me. Valarie: Well I don’t know about you 2 but I’m glad you’re safe. If it wasn’t for you, we most likely wouldn’t have survived that whole ordeal. So in the end, I trust you. Matthew: What?! But how- Aelita: Yea! Me too! Matthew: Aelita? Melia: Valarie… Aelita… Thank you. I couldn’t believe what Aelita and Valarie were saying to Melia. Thank you? Yes. She did save us but she didn’t save my mother. She didn’t try anything to save my mother. Instead, she decided to be cocky towards that Madame X and just make her more angry. But then again, my mom wasn’t their mom as well. So I couldn’t be all that shocked about it. Valarie turned towards me. When our eyes met, I blushed a bit. Valarie: Well… Augustus said that we should be arriving soon at the pier. I should go check on that. Matthew: Ohh. Uhh… O-Ok then. Valarie: Ohh. And Matt… I hope you’re holding up ok after what happened with… Well you know. Matthew: It’s… It’s no bi- Valarie: Your mother was brave and courageous. -hugs Matthew- She’ll always be remembered. Matthew: -hugs back and starts to tear up- Thank you Valarie. Valarie and I hugged for what seemed like hours but in reality, it was just a couple of seconds. We both let go of each other. She could see the tears running down my face. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a napkin and handed it to me. She then ran off to wherever Augustus was. Aelita followed suit, apparently she wasn’t feeling that well or something. I wasn’t paying much attention though. Then I realized it was just me and Melia, standing there, alone. Another awkward silence occurred and again, she broke the silence. Melia: Well Matt… It’s been a long time. Matthew: Are you really gonna do this? Melia: Huh? Do what? Matthew: Try to pretend everything between us is fine. Melia: …I know you’re angry but- Matthew But nothing! You didn’t even try to help save my mother! And now? Now she’s gone. Melia: You’re… Yes. Matthew: So you finally admit it. Melia: Yes… And I apologize. I apologize for using her moment of death as an opportunity to strike… Matthew: I knew it… You’re lower than scum Melia. Melia: But it wasn’t on purpose! I was trying to- Matthew: I DON’T want to hear it. Melia: Well… wherever she is right now, I’m sure she would have wanted me to use her death, if it meant saving you. Hearing those words angered me. How dare she say something like that about my now dead mother! It made sense but hearing her say it blinded my common senses. I turned around, trying to not do something I’d regret later on. Matthew: Never… EVER… say anything like that to me again! Melia: But I- Matthew: NEVER! Melia: …Ok. I won’t. Matthew: Are we done here? Melia: No. I wanna try to work this out. This whole friction between us isn’t good for trying to combat against Team Meteor. Matthew: We can “work” together but we’ll never be friends. Melia: But that’s still gonna mess up the teamwork! Matthew: Shut up! Get it through your head that our little friendship from the past is gone and dead… just like my mother. Melia: ...You want revenge on me. Is that it? Matthew: I’d be lying if I said no. Melia: Then let’s have a battle. Matthew: A battle? Did you forget that I beat you back at the castle? No thanks. Melia: I wasn’t using all of my Pokemon at the time. I only had the 3 with me. Matthew: Hmph… Fine. How many Pokemon do you have anyways? Melia: 5. Why? Matthew: I’m gonna bring the same amount of Pokemon to the battle. Melia: That’s fine. It’ll be good to see your true strength. Ohh wait. Before we battle, Aelita told me that your Snag Machine was damaged? Matthew: Hmm? Ohh yea… Madelis broke it. Melia: Ugh. Madelis. What an annoying person. Matthew: Heh… Something we can both agree on. Melia: Let me see it for a minute and see if I can find the problem. I gave her the Snag Machine and waited as she looked over it very carefully. She examined every centimeter of the device and in surprisingly short amount of time. The expression on her face wasn’t a positive 1 to see however. Matthew: What? What is it? Melia: I… actually can’t see anything wrong with this. Are you sure it’s actually broken? Matthew: Am I su- Seriously? You’re asking me that? Melia: Well I don’t see anything wrong with this. Hmm… Maybe Madelis signal jammed this thing. Matthew: Signal jamming huh? Melia: Yea. There was an interfering signal located back at the castle. This device is kind of like a PokeBall. When the signal switched off your PokeBalls… It reversed the hindering effect Madelis put on your Snag Machine. Matthew: Sooo it works now? Melia: Yes. So it’s a victory for us! Matthew: Right… So can we go have that battle now? Melia: Yes we can. I’m pretty sure there’s a battling spot on this ship. Let’s do it there. I’ll see you there when you organize your team. Melia left to go to the battle area of the ship. I went back to the room I was staying in. There was a PC in there luckily so I was able to sort out through the Pokemon I had and come up with a 5 Mon team. After picking out the team, I met Melia in the battle area and stood on the other side of the room. Melia: Matthew… I don’t know what I can say to make you forgive me or change your mind of me but… I will not let up in this fight! Matthew: I would hope not. I would like to crush you with you giving it your all. I don’t want a fake battle. I want a real 1! Melia: You are underestimating me. That’s a mistake. If you underestimate your opponent, that will result in a loss. Matthew: Ha! I will not lose to the likes of you! Melia: Matthew, you may have gotten stronger but so have I! Matthew: Enough talk then Melia! Let’s battle! Matthew VS Melia (2) The 2 of us grabbed a PokeBall and threw it out onto the battlefield. I wish I could say that I wiped the floor with her team with mine but to be honest, it was almost even. I was luckily able to come out with the victory but just barely. But the battle made me feel better than I had felt in the past couple of days. Even if it was against Melia. I was still angry with her though but this had somewhat softened me up to her. Melia: Heh… Even after all this time, I still can’t beat you. Matthew: …Yea. Melia: Are… you really that mad at me? Matthew: …Yes. Melia: I se- Matthew: Don’t stop your training though… Melia: What… did you say? Matthew: You’ve gotten stronger. Don’t stop… We need that. Melia: -chuckles- Thank you Matt. Matthew: Don’t get the wrong idea Melia. I am still severely mad at you. But we need more strength. Melia: Yes. I understand. Anyways, we should be docking soon. I should get back outside. Matthew: What’s the plan? Melia: I think we’re gonna drop you and Aelita off at Gearen and then deliver the people of Akuwa Town back to their homes. And after that, it’s back to where I came from. Melia walked out of the room and onto the deck of the ship. I went back to my room to heal up the Pokemon I had in my possession right now. I was glad that Melia had gotten stronger but the anger and hatred I had for her was still as strong as ever. James ran as fast as he could to the area of the explosion, even though he didn’t know exactly how to get there. He remembered when he was on top of the bridge that he could see the Grand Hall. So he decided to head there and find his way to the place from there. It didn’t take long for him to get there. Luckily for him, the explosion area was just up north from the building. So he took off running again. As he got closer to the carnage, he could see a group of people standing in front of some staircases. When he got to the front, he saw a huge hole in them. It was devastating to see. James was about to go up for a closer look when a police officer stopped him. Police Officer: Halt. I’m sorry but no 1 can pass here at this moment. James: I just want to see the… the hole… Police Officer: I’m sorry but I have my orders. No civilians or Pokemon Trainers are allowed past here at this time. So I’m afraid- ???: Let him pass! James and the police officer looked back towards the crowd and standing in front was Ame. She ran up to James and gave him a big hug, which he returned back. He could tell that she was happy to see him but wasn’t happy with this whole bombing situation. Police Officer: Miss Ame? Are you sure? Ame: Yes. He’s allowed to go past here. Everyone else must stay back. Me and him will take a look at this. Police Officer: Well as long as you say so. I’m sorry for the trouble sir. James: It’s alright. I understand. The police officer stood to the side and James and Ame walked up towards the hole. The size of it was quite massive. They peered down inside of it and were shocked to see what was inside. It looked like very colorful rocks and gems glittering down inside the hole. Neither of them had ever seen anything like this before. James: What are those? Ame: I’m not sure but whatever it is, Team Meteor obviously wants something to do with them. James: So what do we do? Just jump down there and look for them? Ame: Hmm… No. I don’t think that’d be a good idea. We wouldn’t have a way back up then. James: Then what do we do? Ame: I’m gonna have some of the officials brings a ladder here and take a look down there and see if they can find anything. I’m gonna have to take care of paperwork for this. James: I guess I should go along with them then. Ame: Actually no… I have something for you to do. James: Ok. What is it hun? Ame: Last night when Corey… his body is still in the Lapis Ward. James: Wait. No 1 has gone there to clear it up? Ame: I never made the call to do anything about it. When I got back here, I took a nap. My back and neck were killing me and that helped rest me up a bit. James: I understand. I kind of feel the same way but I know I can’t rest right now. I mean you saw him do it too and… Ame started to tear up again thinking about how Corey climbed up on top of the edge of the bridge and threw himself off of it. James went over to her and hugged her to try to comfort her. He looked at her and wiped a tear that was rolling down her cheek. She looked at him with a smile and nuzzled into his chest. She then tried to regain her composure. Ame: A-Anyways… Please deal that for me. James: Of course. Anything for you my dear. Ame: Thank you James. I must get back to the Grand Hall and make preparations for this. This is gonna be 1 hell of a day. James: I’ll see you later then hun. They leaned in towards each other and locked lips. Ame then went on her way to the Grand Hall as James went towards the Lapis Ward. He didn’t know exactly where to search for Corey’s body but he hoped not a lot of people had noticed it. As he started his search for the corpse, he came upon a woman with redish, purple hair. As he came up closer, he could hear her talking to a door to a building. ???: Finally… Today’s your birthday. You can escape. Be out of this hellhole forever. Be strong sister and vengeance shall be ours. James: Umm… ???: Ohh. Sorry for being in your way. James: What were you- Before James could finish his sentence though, the woman quickly walked away. He looked at the sign in front of the building that the woman was just in front of. It was apparently some kind of orphanage and psych ward. He thought why the woman would want her sister to have vengeance on a place like this. But he didn’t have time for that right now. He had to continue his search for Corey’s lifeless body. He looked up and could see the bridge that he was on not too long ago. He decided to run up towards there and search. But when he was getting closer, he could see a gathering of people up ahead. While it wasn’t as many as with the bombing area, it was enough to know that things were not ok here. As he got closer, he could see blood splatter on the bridges walls. Near them was Victoria and a rather young girl. Victoria seemed to be trying to calm the girl down. James went up to them to see if they were ok. James: Victoria! Victoria: Huh? Ohh! James! You’re here too. James: Yea. Ame asked me to come here to look for… My Arceus… James only saw the blood splatter but didn’t see the body. But when he looked down and saw Corey’s mangled body, he was horified. His face was unrecognizable, bones were popping out of his body, there were deep gashes in his body. It was not a good sight. Victoria: Yea… It’s not a pretty sight… ???: I… I don’t- Victoria: Shelly, honey, stay away from there. James: Shouldn’t we take her away from here? This isn’t something a child should see. Victoria: I’ve been trying to for a while but she won’t move. Shelly: I don’t… understand… He’s -starts to tear up and sniffle- Victoria: Ohh no. No no. Don’t cry. We really need to get you inside Shelly. Shelly: This is… I-I can’t… breathe… James: Nobody should see something this horrifying… Shelly: Th-That’s Heather’s dad… I… James: So you know him too? James was struggling with himself on the inside if he should tell Victoria and Shelly about him and his affiliation with them. Victoria: Huh? -turns around- Team Meteor? Wait… Don’t tell me you guys did this! Aster: Pfft! As if! That was OUR- James: Shut it you 2! Eclipse: I was going to shut him up myself but that’ll work. However… I want you to listen here girly. It’s best for everyone if you keep your nose out of Meteor’s business. Come on Aster. We’re leaving. Victoria: Grrr! You think we’re just gonna let you 2 get away from here?! Eclipse: How exactly are you going to stop us when we’re up and you lot are down there? Aster: Besides, we need to meet the rest of the team at the staircase. James: The Staircase? Then it’s true! You lot blew it up! Aster: Nooo. Of course not. A fucking Sunkern did it. Of course we did it! Eclipse: Ugh. You’re a fool. Why not just tell them the whole plan while you’re at it. Aster: Well… Ok! So apparently, underneath the Stairway, there’s a- ow! Eclipse had turned around and slapped Aster in the back of the head. This moment was funny but only for a second. The seriousness of the situation had just went up. Way up. The strange duo left the area. Victoria turned to talk to Shelly but instead, screamed. James and Shelly turned to what Victoria was screaming at. James was scared at what he was seeing but shockingly, Shelly didn’t seem at all scared. A shadowy figure was floating above them. It was actually floating over Corey’s corpse. James: Wh-What is that?! Victoria: When did he get there?! Shelly: O-Oh. That’s Shade… What do you w-want Shade? James: You know that… that ghost? Victoria: Wait. Shade? But isn’t that- All of a sudden, Corey’s body started to disappear, along with the blood splatter that was on the ground and bridge wall. This Shade person didn’t look down at the group at all and disappeared. This left Victoria and James shaken a bit but Shelly seemed fine with it. Victoria: And just like that… he’s gone… How strange. James: What is he gonna do with the body? Victoria: I’m not sure but… we should get inside before anything else weird happens. James: I agree. Come on Shelly. Shelly: O-Ok. Bonnie: Ooog… Ow… My head… Huh? Where… am I? Meteor Grunt: Huh? We got a human in there? Guess that means that Solaris used that trap door a floor above this 1. Bonnie: Where am I? What is this place? Meteor Grunt: Well since you won’t be able to get out of there, might as well tell you. We were able to get rid of the Daycare Couple that resided in Obsidia Ward for a god while. Unfortunately, someone recently was able to rescue them and they’re back in business. But the Pokemon you see in these cages are from that. Have a nice stay though kid. None of you are getting anywhere! The Team Meteor Grunt then turned his back towards Bonnie. Bonnie looked around the area. There were a lot of cages with about half of them full with Pokemon. It saddened her that these Pokemon were stolen from their trainers. She went over to the bars to see if she could move them but of course she wasn’t able to. She then tried to think of a way to break the bars from the cage. She didn’t want to alarm the grunt though. She inspected all of the cages that contained Pokemon. After taking sometime to look at all of them, she finally was able to come up with a plan. She walked over to the cage that contained a Loudred and asked it to yell loudly with her close to it. The Loudred looked confused but Bonnie insisted that it do it. The Loudred yelled out really loud. Bonnie felt like she had gone deaf but couldn’t focus on the pain right now. She walked over to the Jigglypuff and asked it to use Sing. The Jigglypuff happily obliged and started to sing. Thanks to Bonnie not being able to hear the song, she was not put to sleep. By the time Jigglypuff was done singing, Bonnie had regained her hearing. She went back over to the cage to check on the grunt. He was in fact sleeping. Her plan had worked. Bonnie: Alright! Now gotta find a way to get these bars off. Hmm… Ohh! I know! Come on out Tyrunt! Tyrunt: Ty? Bonnie: Alright Tyrunt! I want you to try to bite through those bars so we can get out of here! Tyrunt: Ty! Tyrunt! Tyrunt ran up to the metal bars and started to chomp down onto the metal bars. At 1st, the metal bars didn’t budge at all. Then, dents started to appear on them. Then cracks. At last, Tyrunt chomped through the bars, leaving an opening big enough for Bonnie to escape through. Bonnie praised her Pokemon and then sent it back to its PokeBall. The grunt was still asleep so Bonnie snuck past him and looked for a way out. She had to fend off some Meteor Grunts but was able to defeat them. She came across a computer panel and pressed a button on it. Near where she was, she could hear something unlock. She went to where the source of the sound was. When she got to the area, she saw that it was a door. She turned the knob and opened the door. She looked outside. Out of nowhere, Noel ran inside and bumped into her. The 2 fell down onto the ground. Bonnie: Ow! Noel: That did not feel good. Bonnie: Noel! What are you doing?! Noel: Bonnie? Ohh… I’m sorry. I assumed it was a Team Meteor Member when I saw the door opening. Bonnie: Ohh. Well I guess I can’t be mad at you for that then. Noel: Hey. Where’s Amaria? Bonnie: I’m not sure. We got separated a while back. Noel: We should find her soon. Bonnie: I will. You go back outside though. Take out any Meteor people you see that try to come out that way. Noel: Alright. I will. You… You be careful Bonnie. Bonnie: -blushes- I will. You be careful too Noel. Noel smiled a bit and then went back outside. Bonnie went searching throughout the building to find Amaria or any sign of Solaris. She soon came to an area with a steel grate up. There was a computer panel by the side of it. She pressed the button on it and 1 of the steel grates raised up into the ceiling. She began searching the building for the other computer panel. It took some time and some more Meteor Grunts battles but she finally found the 2nd 1 and pushed the button. She could hear the steel grate downstairs rise up. She ran downstairs back to where the steel grates used to be and could now see a door leading into the next room. She took a deep breath and walked through it. When she got to the other room, she could see a lot of science like people and more Team Meteor Grunts. Then she saw 1 that she had seen sometime ago. Bonnie: You. You’re the weird 1 that talks to himself. Or herself. zeL: Ohh… It’s you. You, umm… You probably shouldn’t be here. Bonnie: I shouldn’t be here? What about you lot?! None of you should be here! ???: You’re an annoyance. Bonnie: And you. You tried trapping me in that cage. ???: Yes I did and I obviously had an incompetent Meteor Grunt guarding that area. But I’ll deal with that later. I give you credit, umm… What was your name again? Bonnie right? I congratulate you for cutting through my subordinates. Bonnie: What are you people doing here? ???: As a reward for impressing me, I want you to come over here and observe something. There was some hesitation in her steps as she followed the individual but when she saw the PULSE Machine with what looked like a Muk inside of it, her pace picked up. She stood in front of the the Muk, horrified. The Pokemon seemed to be in a bad state. She felt sorry for it. Bonnie: What… What are you doing to this Muk?! ???: I’m sure you’re aware of this Bonnie but this is a PULSE Machine. It’s slightly different from the 1 you’ve already seen however. Bonnie: What do you mean? ???: The machine to which it’s attached drains its lifeforce and suffocates its spirit. Watch as even its body gives way as it collapses into a puddle of its own drool. Bonnie: You… How could you?! Muk! ???: Whine all you want little girl. But now that you are distracted, Garchomp! Dragon Rush! Execute! The stranger threw out a PokeBall and out popped the Garchomp. Bonnie was unfortunately not able to do anything to even try to dodge the attack. But then all of a sudden, 1 of her Pokemon popped out of their PokeBalls and blocked the attack. Bonnie was thrown onto the ground with the sudden force coming from her PokeBall. She heard a familiar sound though when she regained her composure but it didn’t sound right. What she was hearing was the sound of a Tyrantrum. She then made a sudden realization. She opened her eyes and looked towards the stranger’s way and could see a Garchomp and a Tyrantrum that had blocked the attack. Bonnie stared at the 2 beasts in shock and amazement. Bonnie: T-Tyrunt? Is that you? Tyrantrum: -nods its head yes- Tyran! Bonnie: D-Did you evolve to… save me? Tyrantrum: Tyrantrum Ty! Bonnie: -starts to tear up- Thank you Tyrantrum. Amaria: Bonnie! Ice Beam that dragon! From up above, a light blue flash could be seen coming towards the Garchomp. Tyrantrum held the beast there for as long as it could. When the beam was close, it let go, avoiding being hit by the attack. Garchomp took the full attack and was instantly knocked out by it, falling onto the ground. The stranger recalled his Pokemon back to his PokeBall. Amaria and her Kingdra jumped down onto the floor, joining everyone. Bonnie: Amaria! You defeated that beast with just 1 attack! Amaria: Well of course I did. But are you ok Bonnie? Bonnie: Yes yes. I’m fine. Thanks to Tyrantrum here. Amaria: Good. I heard everything that person said by the way. But… I don’t get it. This PULSE Machine floods the lake with poison. Why- ???: Let me stop you right there. Before you ask the obvious question, let me answer it for you right here. The battle was somewhat long but with not much struggle, Bonnie was able to come out on top with the victory. Since they used the PULSE Muk during the battle and it was defeated, Bonnie assumed that the contamination to the water would stop now. ZEL turned around towards the confrontation between Amaria and the stranger. zeL: Solaris, I-I’m sorry but we couldn’t- Solaris: Hmph. Useless. Bonnie: -thinking to herself- Solaris? So that’s his name huh? Well it sure fits him. Solaris: Yes, yes indeed. You are as worthless as your worthless actions. You might have stopped the PULSE but it’s still too late. The lake is already too far gone. Amaria: Too far gone. You know that’s not true Solaris. Solaris: Ahh yes. You Amaria. Well I’m afraid we must cut this little fight of ours short but before I leave, a parting gift… Tyranitar! Superpower! On the girl! Amaria: Huh?! Bonnie: What?! No! Move Amaria! There was nothing the pair of them could do though. With surprisingly swift movement, the Tyranitar clenched its claws into a fist and punched Amaria in the gut, causing her to fly backwards a bit and onto the ground. Solaris then returned his Pokemon and Team Meteor fled the area. Bonnie ran up to Amaria and helped her the best she could back up onto her feet. Amaria tried to walk the pain off but she eventually fell onto her knees, thanks to the excruciating pain she could feel in her gut. Just then, Noel came running into the room and could see the state Amaria was in. Noel: W-What happened? Bonnie: 1 of the members from Team Meteor used his Tyranitar to hit Amaria in the gut with Superpower. Noel: Are you ok Amaria? Amaria: I’m in a lot of freaking pain right now but- ow! Ugh… I’ll be fine eventually… Why are you in here though? Noel: I saw a bunch of them coming out of the door. I hid behind a dumpster so I wouldn’t be seen. I wouldn’t have been able to beat all of those guys. Bonnie: I’m just glad you’re ok hu- I mean Noel. Noel: -blushes- Thanks. Amaria: Heh… Ugh! Bonnie: Amaria, let us- Amaria: N-No… I got this… -struggles to stand up but eventually does- Bonnie… nice job on shutting that machine down… Bonnie: No problem. Noel: So… that’s a PULSE Machine? Bonnie: Mhm. They had a Muk attached to it. It was pretty horrifying to see. Amaria: Y-Yea… Thanks to you, the water won’t be polluted anymore. But I’m still confused… He said it was… too late? Bonnie: Yea. I don’t get why he said that either. Amaria: While it’s true that a lot’s been ruined, the Water Treatment Center under the city will clear it out. Bonnie: Water Treatment Center? Noel: Yea. It basically cleans out the water so Water Type Pokemon and people can be in it without being hurt. Bonnie: Ohh. I see. Well I hope it gets cleaned out soon then. Amaria: Yea. I think we did something really great toda- ow! Bonnie: Amaria, I think you need some help. Amaria: N-No… Please… Amaria slowly walked up to her Lapras and returned it back inside its PokeBall. Noel moved out of the way as she was making her way down is way. She stopped and held her stomach once more. The pain was obviously massive. Amaria: Damn… That attack might have hurt a little bit after all… Noel, Bonnie. You 2 still need a way to cross the lake right? Bonnie: Cross the lake…? Ohh yea! With everything happening here, I completely forgot about that! Amaria: Well don’t worry about that. You 2 can take my boat. -hands Noel the keys- Noel: Your boat? But it’ll be destroyed if we use it in the water now. Even if the pollution problem has been taken care of. Amaria: That’s probably true. The toxic water will most likely destroy the boat. But… I have a feeling you 2 need the boat more now than I’ll need it later. Bonnie: Amaria… Thank you. Amaria: No problem you guys. You remember where we met before all of this happened right? Noel and Bonnie looked at each other when Amaria said those words. “Love of my life.” The 2 knew that they had some kind of feelings towards each other but they knew it wasn’t that. But maybe, whatever these feelings were right now, might lead to that 1 day. Amaria could see the looks they were giving each other and that made her smile. Feel better soon! Noel: Yes. Please feel better soon. Noel and Bonnie watched on as Amaria slowly walked out of the room. They kind of felt bad for not helping her get back to her home but they figured since she was a Gym Leader, she would be ok by herself to get there. Bonnie ran up to Noel and gave him a hug and he returned the gesture. The 2 then looked at each other, nodded their heads and started to run back to the Coral Ward.
