Playing slowly, and carefully, the snowball gradually makes its way to the hole with Rachel's help. A purple flag pops up, with a note attached. Rachel obtained 30 gold pieces, in a small satchel tied to the flagpole. The snowball re-materializes at the beginning of the course. Toriel and the Child, both go next. Toriel takes the time to examine the course and the ball before smacking it into the hole in several smooth strokes. She rolls her eyes a bit at the white flag's words. The child grips their club fluidly, and in under six seconds, has the ball in the hole, practically running after it with each blow. The ball lands in the hole, and a bright red flag pops out. The child prompts Dolly to try, but they just scoff. Despite getting the highest payout, 50 gold pieces, the child seems uninterested in their win. Bored, even.

-Snowdin Road The child pushes Rachel over to the snowball, encouragingly, insofar as a small child can push a heavily armored, ceramite plated sister of battle anywhere. They point out, as if ice cream could have dulled the memories. Though, the child seems to be speaking from experience.

-Hotland Asgore guides Lucine to an elevator leading to New Home.

Gozer walks forward towards the temple, instead of swimming. He is utterly unconcerned by the sight of the creatures.

Gozer stares blankly ahead, before walking into the water.

The child picks up Dolly, and the ghost describes it. The child begins walking towards the others. -Snowdin Road The Nice Cream Salesman seems to hear Rachel, nodding to himself as he scoots away. The child and Arminius arrive. The rest of the gang notice that there appears to be a small game of golf set up in the area, with a giant snowball as the ball. Sans is standing over by the exit to the next area.

-Arminius and Child Arminius's question is met with a blank stare. It seems he isn't receiving an overt answer. The ghost helpfully narrates. Arminius, feeling incredibly lucky for some reason, manages to imbue the plush doll with the essence. The doll's blank face melts like putty, before reforming, slowly and meticulously, into a familiar visage.. The doll- Flowey, clenches their hands several times. They look straight at the child, leaning up. Flowey glances knowingly at Arminius. After a few more moments, they return their focus to the child. The child doesn't respond. They look almost bored, but Flowey doesn't notice. He laughs for a very long time at this, tapering off into soft chuckles, and then falling silent entirely. -Snowdin Road The bunny blanches at this. "What do you mean? People don't like eating ice cream when it's cold?" They look down. "Oh dear." "I need to go rethink my business model, sorry!" they say, starting to push their cart down the road. Toriel shrugs. "Well, I suppose it is for the best. Though, if any of you did want ice cream, I am afraid that may prove difficult once he is gone." She looks around. "Where did the young one go? And Arminius?" -Waterfall (17, 6) Asgore swallows. Undyne looks shocked. She attempts, only for Asgore to interrupt. She's stunned. Stunned in a way that clearly indicates he rarely uses that term with her. Asgore looks at Lucine for a moment, before walking towards Hotland once again. Undyne glances around briefly, before stomping away in the opposite direction.

-Snowdin The child responds to Arminius. Indeed, Arminius himself has the strange feeling that it wouldn't work. Out of all the essences, he's sure the Meteor and Demon Essences wouldn't do anything helpful. - "I have some money, I suppose I could afford to treat you all, just this once if you wish," Toriel says to Ignia

-Snowdin The child states with little fanfare. The ghost chimes in at this point. (7. 5) Arminius is floored by a sudden burst of Deja Vu.

-Snowdin Papyrus looks at Rachel, who is also in the general area that Ignia gestured to after crossing through the maze He plants his hands on his hips. With that, Papyrus dashes away, leaving Sans standing quietly behind, hands in his pockets as he smirks at the party. With the puzzle solved, everyone is free to walk across. Sans stops Ignia for a moment. When Ignia blinks, he's gone. Meanwhile, the child finally opens dialogue with Arminius. Arminius notices, even as they speak, the ghost he's been hearing is giving the child information, offering them options for what to say. The child either doesn't notice, or isn't surprised by what they're hearing. Further ahead, Rachel, Ignia and the gang encounter a bunny monster selling ice cream, he looks morose, and his moneytill looks empty... "I don't understand why these aren't selling, it's the perfect weather for something cold..." "OH! A CUSTOMER! Hello! Would you like a Nice-Cream? It's the frozen treat that warms your heart!" he shouts, noticing the people right in front of him. -True Lab When Prodditor picks up the paper, he can see something written on it, in hasty scrawls. "Behind You" -Waterfall The monster that Lucine is following waves to Undyne, who has a vessel bulge on her forehead at the sight. Undyne forces a fake smile on her face. She looks up where Jun is hiding, while Asgore, the King of the Monsters, looks stunned, and unhappy. Despite Undyne's warnings, Asgore looks calm.

-Snowdin Rachel takes exactly one step forward before Papyrus lights up like a Christmas tree, spazming in the air while crackling with electricity. "SANS! WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Papyrus shouts. "uhh, i think the human has to hold it," Sans explains. "OH... OK!" Papyrus says joyfully, walking through the maze and following the exact path leading from them to the group. "HOLD THIS PLEASE!" He hands the sphere to Rachel and then dashes back through the maze, once again following the path to get through it exactly. A trail of footprints are left in the icy snow. "OK! TRY IT NOW!"

"Oh fuck me." Scout tries to snag the bracer off the figure, and, failing that, tries to blow their own head off with their gun.

-Snowdin As Arminius walks along, the Child follows them at a distance close enough to speak without being heard. "When the others go through the maze, we should talk." The rest of the gang move forward, encountering an icy path with Sans and Papyrus standing on the other side. "GREETINGS, HUMANS! ARE YOU PREPARED TO HAVE FUN? BECAUSE I CAN ASSURE YOU, THIS WON'T BE!" "FOR YOU SEE, THIS IS THE INVISIBLE ELECTRICITY MAZE! WHEN YOU TOUCH THE WALLS OF THIS MAZE, THIS ORB WILL ADMINISTER A HEALTHY ZAP!" Papyrus exclaims, pulling out a large cyan sphere. "OK, YOU CAN GO AHEAD NOW!" The child pokes Rachel. "You have the best armor. It makes sense for you to go first," the child points out. -Hotland (19, 7) The hulking figure chuckles sadly. "Oh Undyne, what did you get yourself into this time. Very well, I will go with you to talk with Undyne." "Come along now, young one," he says, walking towards Waterfall. Despite Lucine's panicked words, the large monster remains calm, and pleasant. "Undyne can be a bit aggressive, but her heart is in the right place. I'm sure we can all settle this over a nice cup of tea." "I've never heard of a 'homunculus' before, I'm afraid. Hmm," he says, mostly to himself, before, after a moment in thought, his eyes light up in recognition. "Ahh, no, I believe I have, Dr. Alphys attempted to explain them once, but I'm afraid a great deal of it sailed over my head." "Well, whatever the case may be, you are a very brave monster to stand up for your friends," he offers Lucine a warm smile. -Waterfall (7, 8 ) Undyne hardly reacts to the mental probing, aside from a brief moment of shock. "She isn't the one you should be worrying about."

"Yeah, that's right, I'm a genius." Cap says, brushing himself off as he scrambles to his feet.

-Hotland Lucine dashes forward as fast as she can, before, with an almighty whump, she slams into a hulking giant of a Monster, falling backwards onto the ground. The monster appears to be humming to itself as it lifts up a large jug of water, plopping it into a water dispenser. He reaches out his hand, offering it to Lucine. -Waterfall Jun doesn't hear any violence as she climbs up onto a rocky mountain, the same one that hangs over the entrance to Hotland. They hear the loud clanking steps of Undyne, however, as she emerges from the tunnel, facing away from Jun. She halts, still facing away. -Snowdin Road The snowman smiles, insomuch as a snowman can smile, even as Ignia takes a snowball sized chunk out of the snowman. "Thank you! Good luck!" they say.

"Don't worry guys, I've got an idea!" Cap shouts, running up to the edge, and Slingshotting himself across, ignoring the bridge entirely!

-Waterfall Undyne's baleful glare stretches out for a very long time, until she reaches her conclusion. Too wary of being tricked, and too confused to make sense of the situation, Undyne speaks. (1, 9) She walks past Lucine, deeper into Waterfall. -True Lab Nader and Prodditor enter a room filled with bright yellow flowers, UV Lamps, and mirrors. The flowers seem unfamiliar, but mundane. A door rests at the end of the hall, which leads into a room with a key-slot and a hastily scrawled note on the ground. Two monitors light up with their respective entries.

Undyne's eyes narrow, but Lucine's SOUL still doesn't emerge.

(1, 3) Lucine's SOUL fails to emerge, confusing Undyne.

-Waterfall Lucine manages to escape Jun's grasp, running back towards Hotland. She encounters Undyne, who narrows their eyes down at her. She throws a spear, embedding it in the ground in front of Lucine. The air begins to darken as she summons a new glowing spear into her hands. -Snowdin As the group approach, the snowman begins to speak. "Hello. I am a snowman." "I want to see the world, but cannot move..." "Please, traveler, if you would be so kind, take a piece of me, and take it far away."

The child points out that there's a snowman.

Despite Lucine and Jun having a merry time conversing with one another, the reality of the situation is that they begin to hear a faint set of clanking footsteps coming from Hotland, approaching closer.

-Snowdin Road "Ahh. I see," Toriel says, frowning deeply. Walking forward, the group encounters Sans yet again, who stops them. In front of the group, there is a large patch of ice, and another branch in the path leading north. In the middle of the ice, a sign pokes out of the ground. The child walks over, sliding on the supernaturally slippery ice, and reads the sign aloud. At the end of the northern path, a snowman can be just barely seen.

"I... Pardon?" Toriel says, utterly flabbergasted, and expecting an explanation from Rachel. "I fear I may be missing some context."

-The Lab -Snowdin Road "I suppose we should be grateful. He could be smoking... Cigarfs." Toriel points out with self satisfaction. (16, 4) Rachel notices the child staring at a seemingly random spot, moments before a swirling vortex of darkness erupts from the spot, spitting out Ignia. "My goodness!" Toriel yelps, more shocked than surprised at the sudden portal.
