Alva Alva blinked as they were now back where they were, and she was normal again - what? That wasn't... next loop, Riley said? Were they doing it again? That's... alright, not the time to think it through, it seemed. She transformed quickly this time, and prepared for a fight. This time, she did something different - she took a deep breath, and suddenly felt cold... but more of a pleasant chill than freezing. When she breathed out her breath turned to mist in the air, as Alva's skin and clothing had turned to a pale blue-green. An ice sculpture in the shape of Alva moved into a ready stance, as the newly minted magical girl prepared for her own attack.

"Beverly," Satomi begins, as she takes stock of the situation - "Before you cut the umbilical, yank it - hard as you can. Get Asuka away from Ahmed and off balance and then cut it, and I try to take the cut - Ahmed, try to be ready to take advantage of it too too." she calls, hoping they'll take her advice as she continues her charge towards the red Eva, knife ready but not raised in case she did something crazy like throwing Ahmed.

Satomi, reacting fast, tries to intercept the swinging train in a somewhat unorthodox way - catching it is stupid, if she goes for Asuka she'll just smack her down... so she darts towards the train swinging towards her and the others, progressive knife raised, intending to cut it from the rest of the train to deprive the red Evangelion of it's improvised weapon.

Aidan moves to get Alwine to her feet. Tsidin and Winston charge down the fleeing pegasus riders. One of them goes down, the mage falling off as the pegasus flies off riderless. Marl vulns Lysander… And Anea heals Alwine. Player Status: 84/100 XP Enemy Status (Stats):

Satomi blinked as Unit 02 avoided them like they weren't there, and crushed Beverly's umbilical - 5 minutes on Beverly, then she was dead weight. Her own Eva was probably one of the less agile one - but it was the most armored. She saw what Ahmed was doing, and called over the coms again. "We need to spread out to have maneuvering room - Ahmed, maybe hold her by the umbilical instead of cutting it just yet, so we can keep her from jumping around so much?" As she said this, she prepared to charge down Asuka again, meaning to do a feint with the progressive knife - and hopefully catch her dodging just when Ahmed screwed with her umbilical, hopefully catching her off balance.

Satomi had to react fast - "Do the plan, go!" she shouted over the comm as she stepped forward to intercept the charging Evangelion, progressive knife already deployed - maybe she could make her charge onto it, although she doubted it. What else had Asuka mentioned... AT field? That sounded familiar... she'd done something the last battle, was it like that? Could she replicate it?

Satomi, once the simulation began, started a weapons check - what weaponry were they equipped with, apart from the progressive knife? She followed this by looking at Asuka - unarmed, probably barring the progressive knife. She was doing this because she didn't think she needed it. "I have to agree, making that sort of bet is probably just setting yourself up for failure." Not that she meant to give up... The area was a city street. Probably went a good ways in any direction. Tall buildings at that - cover, maybe, to try to ambush her. She opened a com circuit to the others. "I don't think we should all charge her. Three of us should try head on, while two of us use the buildings for concealment and ambush her. Quick plan, but when all we have is knives not much else to do. We should try to spread out, keep some room to maneuver. I've got the most armor, so I'll be up front." She thought for a moment... "Kyou, Ranga, get some distance and loop around, try to get behind her. Ahmed and Beverly should stay here and help me. Everyone ok with that? Not trying to tell you guys what to do, but I figure having a plan is better than just charging a her."

Johan steps forward and reinvigorates Shiro for combat. Shiro moves to attack the mage. “Got it! "I-I'm sure there's some reason for it..." Satomi stammers, "They wouldn't make us w-wear these for no reason!" She herself was currently failing to use one of her arms for some amount of coverage as she fumbled with the controls to open the entry plug.

Satomi had been fairly quiet as she was led out of the room, lost in thought. She had remained quiet, paying detailed attention to all that was explained. It made some sense to her that there was physical training and weapons training, despite the fact that they'd be fighting within their Evas exclusively. It would help to know how to fight with those weapons when they used them in a fight, when the robots seemed to follow their movements. It also would help should they, for whatever reason, be forced to eject into the wilderness of the planet. She wondered if survival training would come up at some point. Her thoughts were jolted out of focus when they were led to put on their plug suits. ...She had to assume they had some purpose, but did they have to be so skin tight? Satomi was lightly blushing as she waited to enter her plug, rather failing in her attempt not to look embarrassed. As Asuka entered, she looked at the others. "Well then... we should head inside, right?" she said, heading towards her own plug.

Amber, Colony 6 Amber snores contendedly in her sleep. If awakened, Amber will use Soul Chorus.

The mage is caught off guard by the rushing wyvern and the lancer on it's heel, scrambling to retaliate as a nasty hole is torn in his side. The wyvern rider's assault is punctuated by the twang of a bow, followed by an arrow thudding into the mage. He drops. Player Status: 50/100 XP Enemy Status (Stats):

Victoria sidestepped the falling girl, bending over to look at her on the ground. "...Does this happen often?" she asked, as she crouched and started working to untangle the girl, trying to avoid somehow getting caught up in it - she was a Servant, such minor feats of dexterity could be done in her sleep, but she had a foreboding sense about the magnitude of this girl's clumsiness that made her be a bit more cautious.

Archer and Isis Victoria frowned as she got no response. She'd not quite expected Isis to be that tired - she certainly felt her master's presence, but she seemed to have dropped unconscious as soon as her head hit the pillow. She sighed - so much for talking strategy. Maybe she'd get some time to relax... it was at this point that there was a knock on the door, and she got up to go to it. "Hello?" she asked as she opened it. Erica and Ruler "Then I've lost my position as the heir, and that's that." Erica said simply. "He deserves it more than I ever did."

Cora, for her part, sees she can't really do much to aid this fight - she was no swordswoman, Sentinel wasn't really meant for a straight fight, and it'd be foolish to try to get into the melee and use Guardian. So she settles for information gathering. She tries to find someone who seems like a knowledgeable local, to ask about what was going on - who was this guy? What were those 'disciplinary measures' he mentioned earlier? She was new in town, and she'd love help in avoiding making any major mistakes...

Battle begins with a young mage charging forth, sending flame at a swordsman. Winston rides forward and tosses a hatchet at a different man. He manages to take the first one just fine, but the second slides into his chest right between the ribs and into his heart. He dies. Seeing her target dead and the other swordsmen coming to the recieving end of Lysander’s blade, Alwine tosses an axe at the last soldier in her range. Lysander steps forward, to take his shot at finishing the swordsman. On the other end of the field, the party from the inn prepares for a fight. “If you get hurt, I’ll be right there to heal you!” ~~~Ally Phase~~~ Leslie leaves her home, carrying a pack, as she steps beside Elizabeth and well behind the line of fighters. ~~~Enemy Phase~~~ The enemy assault begins, with a swordsman going for Cassidy. A spearman goes for Shiro… it doesn’t go well, as the man is left barely standing. And one for Bradwr. It also doesn’t go well. A mage goes for Shiro as well. Mage A attacks! 100, miss! Meanwhile, at the entrance to the harbor district, the enemies nearer the Opus soldiers get to work. A mage going for Lysander is the beginning. A pegasus comes swooping from the air and targets Aidan. And another goes for Lysander. A spearman goes to finish the wounded swordsman off. A sinister man in a cloak sends darkness to hurt Alwine. It splashes over her shield, then the writhing magic goes around it and assaults her directly. She drops. Taking advantage of the opening left by his compatriot, the archer takes a shot at Anea. The remaining mage follows the archer’s lead, but Anea ducks. ~~~Player Phase~~~ Winston cracks his knuckles as he surveys the damage of the enemy counterattack - this would be a fight. He takes a quick look for reinforcements - guards at the harbor, probably under orders not to move unless someone gets close. And another patrol… in combat. Doesn’t matter for the moment - they’ll assist once this group is dealt with. ---- Player Status: 32/100 XP Enemy Status:

Satomi nods. "I believe I am as ready as I will be getting, yes." she said, adjusting her glasses a little. She glanced at her father again. What was he thinking about all this? About her going out and fighting? She tried not to be visibly nervous, and to focus on the task at hand.
