  1. Amber, 12-20 Basic attack on Beowolf 2.
  2. Renee got to her feet, not looking at her parents, but looking at Morgan. "That means you'll be going out, doesn't it." she says matter-of-factly. Her hand goes towards the sword on her belt. "I can't exactly let you go alone, can I?"
  3. Amber dramatically saluted Elma with a wide grin. "Amber Waters, at your service! If we're talking about what we do in a fight, I'm not great at doing damage myself but I keep the others in the fight longer! Nice to meet you!"
  4. Renee was seated with her family, as one might expect. More specifically, next to Morgan. "My thanks for the meal." she said in a formal tone - her parents were watching, after all.
  5. Satomi took a few moments, thinking of how to answer that. "It felt sort of like... riding a bike after a long time without doing that, if that makes sense. It took a minute to figure out how to do, but then it was like I'd always known how to do it. As easy as walking." It had been really weird - she shouldn't know how to drive a giant robot, but she did. "Being that... big, was weird too. The people I was protecting looked like ants. I had to be really careful not to step on them by accident. It's strange, having that much power."
  6. "I-It's not that bad, just a bit sore..." Satomi stammers. "It's the one I landed on when I got thrown... I'm just glad nothing got fractured or dislocated."
  7. I could use Magenta again if you did. Although maybe with a different Semblance since I'm unsure how to balance hers
  8. "..." Satomi took another bite of her food, thinking over her response. "I think... I think that the reality of it hasn't fully set in yet. How long have we been up? Hours? And well... all that happened. I don't think I've had the time to really process it." she adjusted her glasses a bit, and absentmindedly rubber her shoulder where she'd gotten knocked around.
  9. "..." Renee looked over Lyle's shoulder as she saw his expression. "...Go on, don't let me keep you."
  10. "A knight? Well, I guess I can trust your word then. Explains why the commander was talking like that with you..." she cleared her throat, then extended a hand. "Proper introduction I guess - I said it before, but my name's Renee Vaughn. Good to meet you."
  11. I would appreciate elaboration on both, to be honest Because I love both Persona and RWBY but don't know the other aspects of the combinations soooo I'd appreciate being able to know what they actually are
  12. "Uh... right. So the point I was trying to make earlier. Morgan's not planning anything funny, unless you count an escape attempt. You don't have to look at them like that, and it makes them even more self-conscious than they already are. So... maybe just stop that, and we're fine?"
  13. As the commander left, Renee turned to Lyle again. "I'm sorry about that... just worried about Morgan and all. Didn't mean to get you in trouble..."
  14. Alva Excitedly sprinting forward, Alva was also quick to grab a ball - not as quick as Lexi but quick enough to get there third. She dodged one ball and tossed it back at her aggressor, scoring a hit, and then retreating to grab another one...
  15. "I really don't think it's necessary... he didn't have any way of knowing that Morgan has that kind of problem... maybe just let them off with a warning if he doesn't do it again?" Renee said, looking apologetically at Lyle - she hadn't meant for that to happen and she felt a little guilty. Even if they were staring at Morgan and making them more uncomfortable than they already were, which she did have to stop.
  16. [Lexi smiled at Alva. "Oh, it wasn't a big deal, Miss Alva. My breathing was acting up is all." She said dismissively, "I didn't notice because I was distracted by a tree." She didn't look Alva in the eye, instead looking past her to watch the teacher that would direct them to start and remaining poised to dash towards the center.] --------------- Alva While Alva does get ready to sprint as well, she continues talking. "Are you sure you're well enough for this? The nurse said to say it was alright and everything?" she says, the concern still there. "If you feel like you're gonna have trouble again just tell me and I'll carry you to the nurse again!"
  17. "No, he isn't," Renee assured the armored man, "I was just wondering why he was staring at Morgan over there so hard." Then, to Lyla. "Considering they're just trying to stay out of the way and you're looking at them like that? Excuse me for being a bit concerned. You were looking at Morgan. I'm Renee Vaughn. The feather thing... well, I just think it's cute, if we're being honest."
  18. Lyle felt a tap on his shoulder. When he turned, he'd see a different bluenette with a feather than the one he'd been preoccupied with. "You know," Renee Vaughn said with a sweet smile, "It's a bit creepy how you keep looking at my sibling like that." Renee had been mixing and mingling with the party, as per usual. Her parents insisted on "presenting" her to anyone of mild importance, and talking about her a ton. Annoying. She'd excused herself for a drink to get away from them, and noticed several people eyeing Morgan in a way that she didn't much like.
  19. Alva Alva was one of those that took part in the morning prayers herself, but she was quick to leave them for the day's activities. When she heard what the game was going to be, she was practically giddy - it'd be a lot of fun! She did walk over to Lexi though. "Hey, are you alright? You sort of passed out yesterday. Did the nurse figure out what it was?" she said, as she stretched and got ready to dash for the balls.
