Alva Alva had been silent, practically struck mute by fear. She couldn't say anything as Essylt made her offer. She didn't want to be so weak, so unable to help or do anything here, but she just couldn't. All she could do was... not die? Hopefully? Of course, this was cut off when Eden said she wouldn't have hostages anymore. She might have had enough time to scream or put herself between them and the other girl before the foot came down and she was definitely worried about Lexi - why had she collapsed all of a sudden? "I-I'll help!" she'd said when Miss Carstin had asked for assistance in carrying the poor girl. Why had she fainted? Was she sick? It'd suck if she got sick so early into the trip. So she, with Miss Carstin, got Lexi onto her shoulder and started heading back to the camp. It was too bad about the trip, she'd wanted the chance to walk around some more. She had the weirdest feeling she was forgetting something. Had she forgotten some medication or something? It was that sort of gnawing feeling but worse. She'd have to check her notepad when they got back. That hardly mattered right now though, and she tried to push the thought aside as they approached a more difficult part of the path.

"Well, onwards to adventure!"

Forge was definitely not comfortable with the sudden, jerking movement, but managed to keep herself together and tried to focus - with Tallow focusing on the moving, she focused on looking around the halls and trying to see if there was any sign they were going the right way or a sign of what the right way was.

Satomi started on her own food. Regardless of the quality or lack thereof, she only just realized how hungry she was. She tried to eat a bit slower, but wasn't doing such a good job at that. She didn't want an awkward silence, so she popped a question. "...So, how are you feeling? Aside from... you know. Are you defrosting alright and all?"

Rei stood up, and stretched a bit. "Don't have one last I checked, so let's do that!" she said with a grin. "To the booze!"

"From the border, myself... although things haven't been great there lately, considering the war." she frowned, then shook her head. "But that's not what the party's about. What brings you here?"

Alva numbly nodded. "Y-You don't think she'd let us go if we promised not to t-tell anyone, do you? This is... t-this is madness and I'm still not entirely sure I'm not having a really really bad dream. We don't have anything to d-do with this..."

Wrenching her arm away from Anna, the woman responded. "Good to meet you, Ecquis. My name is Lina - I take it you're not from around here either?"

The redhead that had been grabbed blinked, keeping hold of her drink and just avoiding a spill. "H-Hey! Don't just grab me like that!"

"Wait, where are we? Who are you? What?" Alva was pretty quickly just asking questions. She felt like she recognized the girl but from where? Didn't matter. "Where is everyone? Did you hurt them?" she had no idea what was going on. "What? K-Kill us? That... tear down society? Why?" And the mental screaming continued. Calm calm calm... calm down. But how can you be calm in a situation like this? That said, she had no idea what the situation really was. ...Wait did Kaede just agree? That's... that's crazy. "This... this is craziness. Uh... people, do you think we're dreaming right now? That seems the only reasonable explanation for this."

"Yeah, it is. We practiced, so we'll do better this time, at least!" Yuri said. "...I'm not sure you'll need the guitar though - we're not doing our own music on this one. And you should probably put it somewhere safe anyway, in case... something happens after the show."

Alva, for her part, wasn't the sort of person to lag behind. She would be in front - if she wasn't hanging in the back and doing her best to get the slowpokes to keep up. "Come oooon, you can do this! It's just a hike! Is it the gear? I can try to carry some for you if it's too heavy!"

Forge "Right, then..." Forge thought. This was certainly... a unique experience. As they floated into the narrow hallway, she sent back more thoughts - confusion, some pain, and then resolve colored her voice as she asked a question. "Do we know where we're going?" The body, propelled by thought, began to go down the hall unless Tallow actually had an idea of where to start.
