    It was quite a good thing that Satomi had managed to find the 'silence' function on her communicator (and pointed it out to Kyou), or they might have just got caught.

    Satomi nodded, following. They climbed a few levels, but it was obvious they weren't making good time... until on one of the levels, they found a maintenance lift - turns out that when you're fixing something as big as the hangar it's probably smart not to have to climb to Eva-head-height yourself. "Let's take this..." Satomi said, and up they go. They'd managed to make it to the observation deck just as the girls were brought there - a small grating in the vent let them see and hear what happened below. Satomi wasn't very surprised to see her father there, nor the Admiral. What surprised her is what was said - get them to pilot those things? Just, out of the blue, no training? --- Before they'd started climbing, Satomi had sent a communicator message to Ahmed - [Officers took Ragna and Beverly. Seem to be going to Eva hangar. Maintenance shafts.]

    Satomi raised an eyebrow. "Eva hangar?" she asked as the pursued. "Are there... more of them?" ...One, you could explain. Hidden on the ship by some suspicious minds. A dedicated hangar for them? No way he didn't know about it when he was so involved in the design of the ship. "Father, what are you doing...?" she muttered quietly as they approached... she caught a glimpse through a grate. "They're going up. Is there a ladder or a lift or something?"

    Satomi had, almost immediately as the group left, wrote a quick note to the Doctor explaining what they were doing and then got into the maintenance shaft, waiting for Kyou. "You know, I was a good girl before today. Now, twice in an hour I disobey orders from an adult." she said as she waited for Kyou to lead the way.

    Satomi had a bit of an idea. She... really didn't like the idea of letting Beverly and Ragna go alone for some reason. Never mind that Ragna herself seemed scared at the prospect. Probably the same as her suspicions earlier, and her hunches. She didn't like being the one to bring it up, but it might do something for those suspicions - she hoped it didn't cause a reaction. She adjusted her glasses again. "...Well, there aren't really that many people higher on the chain than Doctor Alma, and I can't think of why the Admiral or Father would want those two in particular. But if one of them is asking for them, what can we do?" she leaned back on the doctor's desk. She nodded to Beverly. "Of course. She'll be wanting an explanation anyway."

    Satomi paused in her pacing. A scientist - with armed guards? That... was sorta suspicious. To say the least. She spoke first. "...What do you need them for? The medical director told us all to stay here and wait for her to come back."

    Satomi was quiet as Doctor Alma explained. Someone high up would have kept it a secret... it didn't register on her face at all beyond her pushing her glasses back up (they'd gone a bit loose in the shafts) but there was a concern in her mind. "...Where did the robot or Eva or whatever it was come from? It must have been on the ship, right? And... the Angel's still out there, isn't it...?" she stood, and began pacing. Her hand went in her pocket - to her communicator. She was half expecting a ring any second when her dad came back. Or maybe she wanted to call him first? She didn't know at this point...

    Jess staggered out of the wreckage, disoriented and winded but otherwise unharmed. "Thank God we're alright... what was that even?" she said, looking away from the wreck and at the surrounding area...

    Shortly after the doctor gets to her office, that same panel that had been opened earlier and apparently never closed has some noise come out of it. Presumably Kyou drops down, and Satomi follows after. "...Hello, Doctor." she says, quietly. "...So what exactly happened out there? Was there really a... an... an Angel?"

    Satomi considered if she should answer for a bit. Father didn't want anyone prying but... well, Ahmed knew, Beverly and Ragna knew, so may as well at this point. "She was offering a place to talk, for me. All three of us have lost family and she was concerned about our emotional health. I guess a lot of people are going to need her help after this." she said simply.

    Satomi followed after Kyou as quick as she could. "I guess this is convenient..." she says, trying to keep up. When Kyou asks her question, Satomi blinks. "Uh... how much do you know? I don't mind telling, but I sorta don't want to violate the other's privacy, you know?"

    Satomi was surprised as Kyou came in through the ceiling - she hadn't been there in the office the first time, after all. "...Father's going to want to have that passage sealed." she muttered to herself, before placing the note and nodding. "Uh... alright. I'll follow you then." she said, following Kyou up after the girl goes in herself.

    Mmm. I'm somewhat interested but I'd need to see the system to be sure. I also should not join more but the idea of a bullet hell rp intrigues me

    Satomi nodded, before realizing Kyou probably couldn't see her. "Right, right... wait, Crash? I don't think I've heard that nickname before..." as she waited, she went and wrote a quick note to her father in case he came back - she was fine, she just had to see if her friends were ok, she'd been told what happened on the ground via communicator, etc.. Then she, in a fit of uncommon illogical action, kicked a wall in sheer frustration - ow, but it made her feel a bit better. With that she just waited for the ship-born person to arrive.

    Satomi froze in her pacing, and didn't respond for a bit at the mention. Angel. Singular, capital A. She knew what those were, she'd paid attention in history class, she'd read about Second and Third Impacts. She'd tried to doodle one from the description of what they were one time when she was 6 and compared it to the sort most people had considered before all of that. But they were those scary things from the story books, from history long gone that her great grandfather might have been alive for. They were gone. Except here she was being told they weren't. "A-Angel?" she asked incredulously. "That's... that's impossible, a-are you sure-" pause, a deep, shaky breath. She adjusted her glasses again. "Never mind. I know how that sort of question goes. W-Where are you even? I'm just in Father's office now, like I said. Can you think of somewhere to meet?" Should she go even? Father said to stay here - but no, she had to know what was going on properly. "Does the communicator have a map or something? I don't know my way around the ship yet." Satomi's voice... it wasn't quite steady. She was clearly trying to make it that. but it didn't quite work - there was a shake in her voice. She was also very clearly terrified at the prospect presented to her. What even was going on... this was supposed to be perfect, their new home. Everything was supposed to be fine. An Angel was the opposite of fine, very very much not fine. What would they do? Leave, go to some other planet? Did they even have that option? She had no clue what state the Ark was in. But what if Angels were just... a thing on other planets? Then they'd have nowhere safe. Was humanity - no, can't think like that. An... an Evangelion? She'd mentioned an Evangelion. Research had been forbidden, she knew that. Of course it had after Third Impact, from what she knew. But she had never read any sort of record of the Evas being destroyed. Or maybe, maybe it wasn't an Eva, but some other, entirely mechanical sort of robot - that wasn't impossible was it? Jet Alone could have worked if they'd had more time. Whatever it was called, wherever it came from, it didn't matter. Right now it was hope that they weren't collectively fucked as a species.

    Satomi had been almost expecting that the doctor wouldn't pick up - so she was surprised and a bit glad when she did. "I'm in Father's office on the Ark, I'm fine." she said, beginning to pace back and forth. "The ark sort of... shook, and there was a sound of an explosion and then Father ran off to go see what it was - what's going on down there!?" The doctor sounded panicked, out of breath - something was horribly wrong.

    Satomi stumbled as the room shook, and by the time she was on her feet again her dad was running out. She swore in Japanese basically the moment he was gone. This was bad, very bad - who knew what that jolt had done to anyone still in cryo, never mind that an explosion big enough to shake a ship like this was bad enough news on it's own. Where had it even come from!? She grabbed her communicator - did it only have her dad on it, or was it more general than that - say, a list of active communicators? If she could she'd try to raise the doctor first, and when that inevitably failed she'd settle for someone on the bridge crew - her dad's influence would be good for something wouldn't it?

    Satomi nodded again, thinking. "I think I'll go down there later, to see what our new home is like. Where are we going to live for now, by the way? On the ship because of your position or down on the surface?"

    Satomi nodded - of course he'd prepared an area for her studies. "Thanks, Father." she said simply, heading over to the desk and taking a few of her possessions out of the bag. "Is it alright if I put a few of my personal books here?" If the answer was affirmative, she'd put the books neatly aligned at the corner of the desk. The academic books on top and the more relaxing, fictious material on the bottom. "What's the settlement like, by the way? I mean both in terms of environment and what's been built so far."

    Satomi quietly nodded to her father's first statement - she had intended to go but if he forbid it, guess she didn't have much of a choice... As for asking where she wanted to go... "I'm sure any friends that are down on the surface will be too busy getting settled to talk very much. I'll go in." And she would, once he opened the door and went in himself.

    "She just wanted to talk. She was concerned about me and those two's emotional health, because..." she stopped for a second, and adjusted her glasses, "Because all three of us have lost close family. She offered me and the others to meet with her now and then to talk about things with others who've been there." she continued walking for a second, weighing if she wanted to ask... maybe this time... "...Is something bothering you, Father?"

    Satomi had been a bit surprised when her father had entered suddenly - she'd assumed he would have been busy, considering his position, and she'd have to meet him later. She pushed up her glasses once more and stood, turning to the others. "Sorry to have to leave so quickly - I guess we might run into each other later? And I'll definitely think about coming to later sessions." she says, then turns on her heel and follows Doctor Hashimoto. "Sorry I didn't call you, Father." She says as she catches up. "They gave me a communicator, but I was asked to go to Doctor Neummann's office before I could use it."

    [Alexander/Ciri] Ciri nods. "Shouldn't be difficult." Once told how he wanted the doorway, it would begin to morph into the desired shape. "These traps won't do much to the Servants, I'm pretty sure. They're for the Masters then?"
