  1. "Well, I'll be seeing you then..." Elise says, standing and stifling a yawn, and picking up her book. "Good night." she says, heading upstairs (unless someone stops her, of course).
  2. "Oh... I guess that explains the hostility, then." Elise says. After a while, she glances over again. "Is there... anything else you wanted to talk about? I'm kinda tired..."
  3. Ciri - [Alexander/Ciri] "Once the territory is created properly, making the plants it won't really be an issue." Ciri says. "After all, we won't have much reason to leave once it's done and we have food. On that note... do you mean for us to go out ourselves? Or will you have your butler do it? That seems like it'd be safer. ...As for what I'd like, would it be embarrassing to say that it's been forever since I've had a pizza?" as she says this, the White seems to be near finished with the safe room - the walls are completely colorless now, and it's encroaching on the roof of the room. Erica - [Rider and Erica] Erica covers her ears as the broadside launches - it's probably the loudest thing she's heard, short of maybe a jet engine. "Do you think you got them?" she asks as the ringing in her ears slows down. "...And do you think you hit any civilians?" she asks, a bit more solemnly. She certainly hoped he didn't... apart from the ethical side of it, they had to keep the War a secret. They might not be able to see the ship, but they could probably get shot.
  4. "...What?" was Elise's only response, belated to until the guys left. She shook her head. "Uhhh, goodnight, yeah..." she says to Marek as he goes.
  5. Hikari Hikari, a bit more cheerful, gives a polite wave. "Hello there! ...Uh, are you with the group? I don't really recognize you, sorry..."
  6. Victoria The magical girl decides to take the brief rest they were allowed in the courtyard. She finds a bench and sits down, glancing around the courtyard - she notes those who are in the group, seeing as they stand out quite a lot from the soldiers - but doesn't approach anyone just yet. They seem busy.
  7. Hikari Hikari wandered into the barracks - particularly the mess hall, because she hadn't had any time to eat since... how long? It'd been a while. She was in her normal form, not her normal combat one - she didn't want to tire Ivory more than she already was. She took a seat at wherever was open after retrieving food.
  8. Elise seems to consider the question for a bit. "Sometimes, I guess. Considering where I was found and... certain new information, I would guess Lestli? But I've never really thought about it too much."
  9. Elise thinks about it for a moment and shrugs. "Well... I grew up here. Thing is, my parents found me on the Lestli border. Gale too. I've got no idea where I'm 'from'."
  10. "...Well, apparently I'm nobility? Am I not supposed to be surprised by that?"
  11. Elise started. "Wha... o-oh, sorry for that..." she says. She kinda absentmindedly pokes at her own chin - what had he said? Facial structure?
  12. "Um... I'm Elise... nice to meet you?" Elise says - her tone is either off guard or just outright confused, it's hard to tell.
  13. "Oh, don't get me wrong - this stuff is probably decades ahead of what we had where me and Yuki grew up, I just mean compared to the sort of tech we've been seeing since it seems kinda... below average?"
  14. Elise takes a sip of her drink - at a glance it seems to just be water. She'd been about to say something to Marcus when the other person - hadn't he been on a wyvern? Came over. Elise blinks. "...Uh... hi?" is all she says for now - she can't seem to think of something else to say. "...What was your name again?"
  15. Yuri sighs, sitting down in a nearby bench and nibbling at her burger. "I mean, given what we're selling, can you blame them much? We're lucky that we got a few people to look in our direction."
  16. "Mm... well it depends on how much they like you, really. In terms of food and water and lodgings, they're pretty much the same as horses. But they've got a lot more individualism and spirit, so they need to respect you or you're not getting anywhere with them. Gale's pretty nice though, he likes most people who aren't jerks to me or him."
  17. "Yeah... it was hectic. My name is Elise, nice to meet you properly." Elise said, extending a hand for the normal gesture.
  18. "Huh? Oh, it's pretty interesting, I guess..." Elise says, placing a bookmark as she turns to look at the speaker. "It's... a bit childish, to be fair, but I need to relax from... everything that happened somehow, don't I? ...You know, I just realized I don't know your name. Or most of the group's names for that matter."
  19. Ciri - [Alexander/Ciri] Ciri nodded, although mostly focused on her creation. "The main reason I thought of it was due to the fact that I take quite a lot of mana to maintain - was considering it to ease the burden. I can certainly taste - if you can afford the food, I'd appreciate it. It's been forever since I've had something to eat. As for the plants... they're hardly mobile, so it's difficult to use them without preparation, but they're not limited to the Territory. Given the time to grow them I could use the plants from the seeds. Or given something with a weak enough will or weak magic resistance, I could use my Noble Phantasm to make plants from them. If I'm making one of any reasonable strength they won't survive it though." Erica - [Rider and Erica] Erica started a bit as the voice... happened. ...I didn't know you could communicate telepathically. That's quite useful. Thank you for the compliment, by the way - you're quite a beautiful bird, yourself. As for help... well, finding some of the other Masters and Servants would be helpful - they probably heard the cannons.
  20. Elise had been very quiet since the battle. While she'd never supported slavery or anything, she did know that they were more than likely in the legal wrong there - if only they'd waited for those guys to strike first, they'd have a self-defense case, at least. She'd been having trouble sleeping because of it, so she was down in the tavern, drinking some water and reading by candlelight.
  21. Elise really did not like how the whole engagement had gone, if she was honest. Ethically, she had no doubt they were in the right. She and her family had never liked the whole slavery thing in the nation, or the gladiator stuff. From what she gathered though, they were in the legal wrong here - granted, she wasn't sure of everything, having missed the reasons that it started. It didn't matter now, at least. She headed in and tried to thwack the nobleman on the head with her lance - not aiming to kill, although he may bleed out from his wounds without healing or one of the others might finish him if he didn't go down from this. One down, thwack
  22. Ciri - [Alexander/Ciri] "That's true... but then again, they won't necessarily know that. And I'm sure that there's more than a few Masters or Servants that aren't patient enough to wait us out. And then, if they did know about the Canvas and did have the patience, it's more in their interests to come to us sooner, rather than later - the longer they wait, the more of my plants we get. As for food... I don't need it, no. I don't get sustenance from it - although it helps restore mana a bit quicker, and sleeping makes me use less of it. It might be helpful for you, since once the Territory is complete I won't really need to be awake to keep tabs on it." Her discomfort at... something, in that statement, is almost imperceptible. There's no shudder, no grinding teeth. A twitch of the eye - hard to see because she currently is closing them - is the only hint.
  23. Ciri - [Alexander/Ciri] "I can pause the creation once the Safe Room is complete to allow you to set up. Considering the speed, I'd only need to hold long enough for you to leave and then later to return. Inside the safe room is fine for wards. I believe the Canvas proper will allow for them as well - although even if they are consumed, by that point I'll be able to sense and control the area covered."
