"It's not like I don't intend to ever come back, Mom. You made sure that was a condition for me leaving in the first place. But I'm not staying this time." -
Yuri doesn't slow her attack - the faster this goes down, the faster everyone's out of danger. Granted, she did notice that she seemed to be the only one doing significant damage... Heavy Sweep. Again.
-
"S-Sorry! You didn't have those a minute ago!" Yuri says, before the assault begins. As the swords return to her on their chains, she watches the opponent's movement. Alright, she can hit this person. She was sure of it. She probably had reason to wonder "why the heck do I know how to fight", but nothing else was making sense so why should that? She saw the thing attack... "Hey!" she calls out, preparing for another attack, "What did I say about hurting Yuki!?" she says, as she charges forward, repeating her attack. Heavy Sweep, again

Yuri took a step back, hand on Yuki's chest to keep her twin behind her and out of harm's way. Alright. Think this through logically. Time stopped, a women had burst through a crack in reality and was now trying to kill them, a different woman was defending them, one of the girls had just exploded into lace and was now trying to punch murder-knight-lady in the face... logic was not working. She rubbbed her forehead. This was... too much. "Yuki, stay baaaa-" she trailed off when she felt something... very different where she had her hand on her sister's chest. "Yuki- you-" she started, before shaking her head. Nothing was making sense anyway. Why couldn't Yuki suddenly grow three cup sizes? ...She noticed that the head motion had sent some blue hair in front of her eyes. "You know what, logic isn't working here." she said, examining the blue battle-dress she now found herself in. "I don't even know what to think at this point." she says, before turning to the one who had assaulted them. She idly twirled the swords that had appeared in her hands, attached to chains, as if she had wielded them a thousand times. "But I do know that I'm not letting you hurt Yuki." With this declaration, Yuki sends the swords out, sweeping at their assailant's feet to knock them off balance and hurt them in the process. Heavy Sweep.

Hikari indeed does not notice Sachi's stare, given that she's pointing the other way. She focuses purely on the exercise, shoving her embarassment aside. Ivory manifests near the other two who had been a bit distracted (this when one of them had made the 'brothel' comment, not interrupting). "My Master is attempting to train her speed. The one who is doing the exercise at a ridiculous speed has demonstrated significant combat ability, and Hikari is trying to get to such a level." she explains. Hikari gives a thumbs-up to Ivory as a thanks for the explanation. "...I do not know why the training is so lewd, however."

Yuri grabbed her sister's hand as she approached, squeezing it a bit - it's fine, we'll be fine, she seemed to say. She was glad that Yuki could still move. She was certainly nervous - time stopping is not normal - but she had to be strong.
-
Yuri bit her lip - this was hardly a fair start, being thrust into a show with no prep time at all! She was sure they could have succeeded if they had even a week's notice! But no, a crushing failure - this would be bad for their careers. On the other hand, if they made it big videos of this first concert, and them messing up, would be worth a fortune to fans. And this was what Yuri focused on: they could recover from this! A lot of really popular idols have rough starts! For Yuki, at least, she had to be confid- She looked around, as time stopped. "...Well, this is odd, to say the least. What's going on?"

Yes please All my yes -
While she kept on singing on the outside, on the inside Yuri was more than a little worried - this was not a great debut. To be fair, she considered, they had no prep time. It was a miracle that they were doing this well and not constantly falling over each other. Her Appeal at this point likely wouldn't have a ton of impact - they were basically done for this one - but they could aim for a graceful failure, at least, and they can hardly do worse at this point... she signals to prepare the holographic projectors. Yuri's part actually doesn't go horribly - she makes her way to the back of the stage, as the song begins to pick up. However, her attempt to salvage any kind of dignity with the performance fails. She doesn't stumble or fall, but when she signals the holographic projectors they sputter out a few sparks rather than the intended sunburst. She spends just a moment too long waiting for it and the moment falls a bit flat - she turns back to the audience and launches back into the song as if nothing happened, but it's clear this was not what was intended.

"Mom, didn't I already say I'm going to keep travelling? I'm just visiting while I'm here." Clarisse says, her tone a bit exasperated. She'd been partly expecting this... -
"That makes sense... I guess..." Do it for the ability, Hikari. Such speed is highly useful. Easy for you to say. Hikari bites her lip. Treat it like a show. It's just like one of those swimsuit commercials the agency keeps having you do. Just treat it like part of your career. Hikari takes a deep breath, and stands up a bit straighter. Some of these people would have seen how effective Kagari is - they couldn't blame her for wanting to be stronger. "Fine then..." she says, and starts up mirroring Kagari. She's still blushing, but not as heavily, focusing on the end result of the training. She's not nearly as good at this as Kagari, but then she's human - albeit she's possibly doing better than the slime queen expected, considering her pre-existing athleticism.
-
Hikari was certainly being dragged by the slime queen, and blushing furiously as she did. "H-Hey, why are we doing this here!? I-Isn't there somewhere more private to practice?" she asked. She'd not even had time to de-summon her armor and weaponry before Kagari started to drag her in. ...She seems to not particularly care who sees her doing something like this. It's just like that time Ella tricked me to do that one advertisement... At least Kagari allows you to do this clothed.

Yuri was playing the song back and forth in her head. She had to know it perfectly, note for note. She was mouthing the lyrics, as she tapped her foot for a beat. To someone that didn't know her, she would look like she wasn't nervous in the slightest. At least, her face didn't betray the fact she was probably more nervous than quite a few of the group - she was too focused on the next one minute and 58 seconds. She and her sister had, against the odds, come from their home town in the middle of nowhere to a big city and auditioned to become idols... and both made it. Yuri had been dreading the more than small chance that only one of them would be accepted, or neither. When their numbers had been called up and they were told they'd made it, she had hugged Yuki tight. They'd have called home to tell their parents, but it wasn't that bi-monthly time that the cell phone network reached their town. They'd have to make sure that they were on the screen the next time the TV worked. The nerves were coiling inside of her. Bon Voyage... what was next? Yuri was thinking when Yuki grabbed her hands. Yuki could more than likely see the nerves - and Yuri couldn't allow that. She was the older of the two, if only by a few minutes, so it was her responsibility to keep calm. "We'll do great!" she responds to Yuki as she forces the nerves down, grinning - how could she be nervous if she had her sister beside her? As the curtains rose on their new lives, the words to the song came back. She could do this. Bon Voyage! Sora to umi to ga kasanaru... sono blue kirihiraite kaze kitte... The music started, and Yuri's voice with it, in synch with the others. As expected, they had gotten through for a reason - they knew the song. The dance began with a basic swaying of the hips, side to side, her arms following the motion. As the music picked up with the end of the verse, she raised her arms and spun around, ending with her facing the audience and pointing. She could do this. She knew the lyrics by heart already - she'd had to for the audition. She knew the dance by heart. She and Yuki had helped each other practice. This was just another audition. Yuri danced her heart out - that's how this worked for her, she believed: 100%, 100% of the time. It certainly didn't hurt that she was having a fun time while she was at it. Yuri's dancing was pretty good - not the greatest ever, but it conveyed her emotions, and the tone of the song. What really set Yuri apart was the singing itself. One could hear what this show meant to her: It meant a goodbye to what she knew, and the start of a journey into the unknown. She was scared, but at the same time excited. This was her dream since she was a young girl and it was happening, and she was singing with her soul.

"Yeah, we are. The Verun family's a pretty important one around here." Clarisse says. She neglects to comment on the whole 'being modest' bit, because her mom is kinda right there.
