  1. 6D "YorHa is the name of the organization that created me. My personal designation is 6D. B-But you can call me whatever you want, of course." 6D managed quickly. "It is, um, good to meet you, Yukimura Hiroki.
  2. 6D The android righted herself, mentally filing away the damage report on her spine. She remained at rigid attention as she continued to speak. "I, uh, thank you. D-Do you mind telling me your name so I don't have to continue calling you 'human' because that seems kind of disrespectful..." Please don't be offended please don't be offended...
  3. 6D "Alert: Analysis indicates third unidentified lifeform is homo-sapiens." The pod reported suddenly. Oh gosh it was a human. A real human! Not one from her world, but it was still a human! Crap, crap, crap, uh, what were the protocols for this? Her first instinct was shouting 'GLORY TO MANKIND' at the top of her lungs, but it might scare her or she might not get it, that probably wasn't a normal greeting for people in other worlds was it? What should she say then? Data indicates 'what's up', 'hi', 'yo', and various other possibilities for english language speaking humans, but those all seem far too casual! But, uh, should she be casual, so she doesn't make them uncomfortable? Oh goodness what to do what to do... Of course, on the outside, 6D's internal turmoil was largely represented by how she stood perfectly still, like a statue, watching Hiroki for a few moments. Eventually she came to... a conclusion. The android suddenly bowed at a nearly ninety degree angle, fast enough a human probably would have pulled something, maybe broken something, in the action. "H-Hello, human individual! Allow me to properly introduce myself, YorHa Unit 6D at your service! I look forward to working with you to the salvation of the universe- er, I mean, multiverse, right. My specialty in combat is the protection of allies, by way of forcing foes to attack myself instead of them and weakening their attacks when they do so! I h-hope I'll be useful!" she says rapidly, quick enough that someone might have trouble following. Oh goodness did she fuck that up she must have screwed that up oh gosh oh gosh...
  4. "So, now that you've stopped threatening us... could you explain some things? I got a basic summary, but as I mentioned, the little one wasn't speaking clearly." 6D said, relaxing her stance but still ready to move at a moment's notice.
  5. 6D "Alert: Potential Hostile." the Pod reported before 6D could respond to Rory. Just in time for the cannon to poke through a doorway. "Behind me." 6D said simply to Rory, just in case. "YorHa Unit 6D. One moment I was on Earth, the next I was here. I was informed we are to fight monsters meaning to end the universe..." she paused. "...I'll be blunt, the little thing's explanation was a bit abstract."
  6. 6D "The aliens created the machines and attacked Earth for no reason that we know of. The survivors of mankind fled to the moon, and created us to take their world back." 6D responded. "The machines were never subjects of the humans, so they couldn't revolt against them."
  7. 6D The android nodded. "Assuming that the creatures have damage resistance similar to what you are familiar with, I imagine it would." She didn't know what the baseline for these 'Grimm' were, but she imagined it was a similar difference between the standard machine lifeforms and the heavier ones.
  8. 6D 6D looked at him, apparently confused for a few moments, before snapping her fingers. "Right, this looks like a blindfold... it is a tactical visor, gathering information from my environment and projecting it onto my eyes to enhance both focus and situational awareness." she paused. "But... I assume that you didn't just mean the visor. I'm a YorHa Defense-class combat android. We were built to take the Earth back from the machines." Nothing classified in that, right? Right.
  9. "Hm. I don't think they had anything like you where I was from." At least, there were no records of human-animal hybrids. Not that many full records existed. And yet, not an alien... apparently. "Multiverse theory: For every possibility, there is a different dimension or universe." the Pod said. "Analysis: We are no longer in our home universe."
  10. 6D... well, if she rose an eyebrow it was invisible. She did tilt her head questioningly. "For a given value of smart. Pod, continue analysis." "Unidentified lifeform appears human to visual scans. However, other forms of scans cannot make contact. Therefore, full analysis is impossible. Conjecture: Unidentified lifeform is either producing an energy field, or has equipment able to do so."
  11. 6D "Analysis: Unidentified lifeform does not show indicators of lying. Recommend considering statement truthful" the Pod reported. Alright, but how do you translate that? Things that exist hurt the monsters, so they want to make everything nothing. Boil that down, like she said: Fight the monsters. Machines, perhaps? Or maybe the ones that created them even. And, "everything" would include humans - therefore, logically, to protect humans, these monsters must be stopped. The others could hold down the metaphorical fort at Earth. Although... if they weren't on Earth or near The Bunker, she'd have to be careful. No access to spare bodies or ability to update her black box. 6D nodded. "Thank you for the explanation." She would have to find someone who could explain in less confusing terms, but she got the gist. "My designation is YorHa Unit 6D. I hope for fruitful cooperation." This was to the girl, and the strange man. "Second unidentified lifeform-" the Pod began. Not human then. She shouldn't be surprised. "Pod, shut up until you have something new to report." "Understood."
  12. 6D "Unidentified lifeform approaching." The Pod said as 6D walked... but not soon enough to stop the impact. "...Thanks." 6D muttered to the robot, before turning to the little...girl...thing. "I'm sorry, I was looking for someone to explain what was going on." she said as she helped her up. She looked... human, ish. And didn't feel like an android, or a machine for that matter. Could she- "Analyis: Unidentified lifeform resembles a human child, but does not seem to be one. Standard procedure states that-" "Doesn't apply right now." 6D said firmly. "So... where are we?"
  13. 6D Elsewhere in the barracks, a white-haired woman drifts slowly to the ground, her descent slowed by the floating robot she is holding onto. 6D touches down fairly gently, looking around the room and trying to see if anyone was present. "Analysis:" the robot says in a dull monotone. "This is not the location Unit 6D was at previously. Recommendation: Search for information about location." "You don't say?" 6D says sarcastically. "Keep scanning. Wonder if anyone's around? It's a beautiful castle..." At that, she walks down the halls, looking around half out of serious searching and half curiosity.
  14. Tarja's grab was interrupted by a gentle but firm hand pushing her arm back to her side. "Alcohol is fun, but now probably isn't the time to test how well you can hold your liquor, Tarja." Flora said, passing her a less... potentially compromising, drink. The young noblewoman certainly wasn't entertained herself. She'd read the instructions for the third time now. But, she did want to do this job right. Keeping one eye on her companion, she nodded at the paladin's questions. "A bit of explanation would be nice, yeah."
  15. Satomi was fairly quiet as she watched the ark rise, leaving them all on this alien and quite possibly hostile planet. But it was what they had to do, to protect all the people aboard. "...Yeah. Thanks." she said. She adjusted her glasses, and watched it rise. As the smoke cleared, the sunrise became apparent. The sunrise here was different from those back home, but a sunrise it still was. She didn't say more, just watching for a bit.

  17. Val blinked. Then again. Annnnd again. This had been... an interesting several minutes. She'd gone from basically believing the gods don't exist, to knowing they do, to knowing they're dying. How do gods die? Aren't they supposed to be immortal? Priscilla just stood there, shocked for a few moments, before regaining some measure of composure. "...Dying? How do gods... die?" There was really nothing else to say - it had been a rather harrowing fifteen or so minutes.
  18. Satomi places her bag on her bed, and had begun to systematically unpack (first some fairly simple clothes, then a tablet, then a few physical books...), when the question came up. "I'm fine. I did some reading on the time off." Satomi said simply. And also some more mental berating of herself for screwing up. And for how she handled the whole thing in the showers. And a few other things while she was at it. But mostly reading. There had been some interesting things written by the crew during the trip to this planet.

  20. After much delay because I'm a forgetful butt, Supports! Reminder: You don't need to fill all supports, you don't need to accept supports if you want to keep the slots open, and if you think you deserve a support I've not listed and can convince me then you may be able to get that support. Without further ado: Cassidy x Beatrix (C) Cassidy x Yuel (C) Aidan x Beatrix (C) Aidan x Johan (C) Alwine x Shiro (C)
  21. "Yeah, let's get going! I've been waiting for this for days!" Rei says cheerfully, more sparks coming off of her. Her voice was less arrogant and more, well, excited - she had really been looking forward to trying out some real fights.
  22. Rei Torakuma was humming a tune to herself as she walked down the street, seemingly uncaring for the dangers of the Night. If anything, she was excited, and it was all she could do not to keep her power from activating and sending sparks around every step. The horned young lady was practically dragging another with her, until she came to a stop in front of Annabel. “Hey! Sorry for being a bit late, we were just finishing some homework. There were some... redos, when we had to print new copies of the assignments and stuff...”
  23. Arty Arty stared. And stared. And then stared a little more, because that was... well it was the strangest, creepiest thing she'd seen in her short life. She'd read the books and it was like what she saw stepped straight off the pages. "...Uh, yeah, what she said. Also, do they all... do that?"
  24. Rose frowned - she and Torin had perhaps overextended a little. Still, more opportunity to kill some Resanti. "Won't be that easy..." Firing quickly with the plasma repeater, she managed to force a resanti interceptor to dodge out of the way of several blasts - right into a shot from her railgun. The interceptor couldn't exactly take a direct hit from a gun meant for use against capital ships. After that she started pouring out fire, trying her damndest to force the interceptors to keep some distance from herself and Torin until support arrived. "Could use a bit of help here!" she called over comms.
