A reminder though, anime like Kiznaiver conceals deep philosophy under its story. So, if you're the kind that only enjoy the story, the character design, the ships, the action sequence, it will be better for you to not watch it or you'll easily get bored.
But seriously, Wit Studio's Kabaneri of Iron Fortress, Ufotable's Tales of Zestiria X, KyoAni's Musaigen no Phantom World, Sunrise's Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans and Studio Bone's Mob Psycho 100 are prime examples of anime with near if not flawless animation and action sequence, much more better than Yuri On Ice that is famed only because of its detail and life-like skating choreography (also that pole dance).

I remember it changing to a partially 3d form of animation that looked less than stellar so no i'm not disenchanted with it because it's similar stuff.
Mob Psycho really wins hands down for best animation anyway, not because of the spectacle fights but the opening and ending sequences. Those were god damn gorgeous, the OP as a ridiculously long series of 4-5 ongoing shots of wonderful madness and the ED for how smooth and detailed it is in nailing Reigens personality and daily life. Pretty animation with a purpose and not just "hey lookie, it pretty."
I can't remember many of the other awards tbh.
