I have the same problem with the Color puzzle, only with Teal though. It shows the color Teal, but the game won't accept it as the correct answer.

Hmm... I have been thinking... If the gym leader we face in this version isn't Talon, then maybe the "Gym Battle" in this version will be a rematch against Melia? Since she's supposed to be replacing that leader and we got the Normal-type badge from Marianette under... Less than believable circumstances. Maybe she'll notice it, say "Hey! I never gave you that badge!" and set everything up for a battle to make it legal. I dunno, that idea came to me in the shower lol
