I'm sorry to say, but it's highly unlikely that we'll ever do something like a Battle Frontier. It'd be a pain to manage, and considering we already have a league with 18 leaders, one for each type, and then X-League after someone completes the first part, it's not going to be done. To us, it just seems unlikely that anything that's not the Reborn league would receive any challengers. However, if you want to try and run it yourself, as a user- go ahead. It's not decided 100% yet, but all of the Megas barring like.. Banette and Kangaskhan have shown that they're too strong to be used fairly in the normal league. In X-League, the rendition after you clear normal league, they'll be allowed.
