Hello Akzaar! I believe we've already informally met during online play (I name all of my pokemon Magikarp). Sorry if we disconnected, my wifi is not always the best. The way it works is that for every 4 EVs you have invested in a certain stat, it equals a 1 point stat increase at level 100. This is scaled through the levels, so at level 50 8 EVs equals 1 point, and at level 1 16 EVs equals a stat point. Using common or rare candies doesn't affect any EV training you've done, so don't worry about using them.

I have a 5 iv shelder that knows icicle spear if you're still interested. Literally all of my pokemon are named 'Magikarp' and it annoys me that I don't actually have a magikarp.

Hello! My name is hungrynarwhal (screen name Izyk) and i've been playing reborn and browsing the forums since ep 14. It was only when ep 16 was released that i decided to create an account, and although it took me a while to make my way to the grand hall here I am! If you want to battle or trade with me please go ahead and ask. I have 2 teams worth of 5-6 iv pokemon that I've raised myself with more to come. If you want to talk about food strategy or anything else, please feel free to chat me up as well. As far as pokemon go, noctowl is one of my favorites. I also have a preference for steel types, so if someone would be willing to trade me an aron I would appreciate it. For one reason or another I name all of my pokemon 'Magikarp'. I'm not sure why I do this, but I was actually a little upset when I learned magikarp was not actually in the game. Oh well. Gen III was really the last pokemon games I played before reborn, so I'm very happy reborn is styled this way. It took me a little while while playing to catch up on the new pokemon since gen III but I'm pretty happy with how most of them turned out.
