Everyone finishes their lunch and after a short rest continue South-West following Morrik with Maris in taking point. After 4 more hours of walking night has truly fallen, and those that can see in the dark can see just beyond the next couple of hills a great forest that stretches out for miles. Morrik turns to the group "Dey inside dat forest up ahead. Dere was once a castle in dere but it has turned to ruin. But underneath da ruins is da scary place where Sinruth is. Most of the War Band will want to camp far away from it, would give dem da chills." He turns to Richard "You better snuff dat light, after we pass dees hills we enter dere territory and dat light sticks out like a beacon, and if dey see us before we get to da ruins we all dead."

"I didn wanna atack da town in first place, yes." Morrik replies with a mouth full of food.

Morrik reach out and takes the food sniffs it a couple of times before gobbling it down. "So after I take you to where dey took dem prisoners, I can go yes, yes?" Morrik says with crumbs falling out of his mouth. To Maris During the trip you didn't see anything of note, and after doing a quick perimeter of where the party is you think you are quite safe for now as they stop to eat.

"We see good at night, yes. Even when other can't yes yes. Easier to catch a deer while it's sleeping" His stomach growls again.

"We about halfway dere, if you wanna rest jus say so." replies Morrik. You hear his belly growl.

Maris moves ahead of the group to keep an eye out and you all continue on. Walking along this road, chatting between yourselves, you soon lose sight of Brindol and the crops that surround it, leaving only fields of green hills spotted with trees ahead of you. Late in the afternoon after about 5 hours pass without incadent, Morrik pipes up "We turn now, gotta head dat way" and he points off the road towards the South West.

When I get home from work in ~4 hours I will check what Im missing and pm you.

Now that the group is all together, after Yisan and Maris catch up, the group continues to follow Morrik, who is leading you along the road that runs south east between Brindol and a small farming village named Prosser. The only things you can see right now are; the city growing smaller behind you, the road stretching ahead, the crop fields that surround Brindol on all sides , and the deep blue sky without a single cloud in sight.

"Dey say it was a great war band, da Red Hand is like a legend to us. Can you imagine a war band with dragons on dere side?" He seem to smile at the thought. "Dey must be fighting wid Fiery-Eyes in da aftalife right now, what goblin wouldn't want to be like dem." To Yisas + Maris As you look around you see the small group have started to move off but they havent got very far and it is easy enough for you to catch up.

I not looking for anything in particular to be honest, what do you have that is interesting?

To Yisan + Maris Just as you lost hope and started heading back to the group, you see a familiar bald elf mediating under a tree. To Yautja "Sunruth and da war host only arrive next to where I live a couple of weeks ago. But even before dat no one dared to go close to da place dey settled down. It's an Evil place. Those dat go in, sometime not com out." He starts to shiver a little. To Everyone Eventually you all meet up outside the south gate where you see Yautja and a scrawny goblin that introduces himself as Morrik. Once you all arrive Morrik says "All right we got about a days walk until we get dere lets go." And with that Morrik starts leading you south.

You have all had your say and each of you have made some valid points but in the end each of your characters have done what they thought wag the best thing to do at the time. While hindsight is a valuable learning tool, it is not particularly helpful sincejust like in real life different choice would have different consequences. Perhaps this argument was my fault for starting the adventure with such anarchy; a burning building, civilians to protect, civilians reaching their breaking point and having to be calmed down and an ogre throwing explosives all at level 1. All in all I think it has gone pretty well so far, so I will be posting in IC in a minute to continue the story. @DragonRage since you said you are ready I will bring you back into the story now. PM me if you want a quick story rundown or with any other questions.

If DragonRage would like to take a break for his real life problems, this would be a good spot since I can just say yisan cant find him. Then he can join whenever he wishes. Otherwise when combat comes back up soonish it may cause problems.

Also ma name is Morrik, yes yes." the goblin says while smiling up at you, looking quite happy now the nasty drow lady is gone.

Yautja and Rei lead the Goblin out of the market towards the southern city gate. To Richard You manage to find a couple of torches and 50ft of rope at a decent price. To Althea You arrive at a store named "Alchemy by Adronsius" but find the doors closed. You then remember the town Alchemist was one of the captured townsfolk. You do however manage to scrounge up some cooking supplies and a couple of herbs for some basic herbal unguents.

To Rei + Yautja + Yisan As yisan says he will meet you north the goblin pipes up and says "But we gonna be going south, yes yes." To Althea + Richard As you enter market square to start shopping you see Rei, Yautja and Yisan enter the square from the East gripping a goblin by the arm.

The two guards look like they are about to start to argue with you, when a glint of recognition enters one of their eyes. "You are the group of adventurers that took down that rescued those civilians and took down that ogre last night aren't you." He taps his foot on the ground a few times before continuing, "Fine, but only because the commander seemed to trust you." He then reaches down and Unshackles the Goblin's arms, they then give you a nod of acknowledgment and start to walk off, leaving you alone with the goblin who is rubbing his wrists.

@Cool Girl your reply is up, when you leave to go back to the market square it will take another 5mins of in-game time.

"Yes, yes , I live near where dey com from, dey grab me and drag me along. I get you there then you let me go, yes yes?." Says the scrawny goblin, as he moves closer to Yisan and further away from Rei. The guards while listening to the conversation, don't interrupt and continue marching the goblin towards the barracks with each of you walking to keep pace. To Althea You arrive outside the Council Members room, after going inside and explaining he strums his hand on the table a moment before replying "Hmmmm, Both Goblinoids in War Bands are notoriously hard to interrogate so I'm not surprised." "One option would be to try track the rest of the army that retreated last night, if any of your group possesses that skill, otherwise if you ask around town you might be able to find rumors of strange happenings, l and use that to locate where they are set up." "Whatever option you choose I suggest you hurry, whatever those goblins have planned for the prisoners I'm sure the longer you take, the more will perish."

"I could show ya, but I aint tellin ya" replies the goblin while still shaking. "I aint got no loyalty to dem Red Hand boyz, they grabbed me and forced me to come wid em." "But I ran and hid as soon as we got into dis hole, I just wanna go bak to ma home."
