  1. @xPhinGaming I don't actually have any clue how to use debug mode, so... not going to do that. Besides, Charizard and Sceptile both mega-evolve into Dragon-types, so I could start with Charmander or Treecko. (And for the Ice, Electric, Rock, Bug, and Normal runs, I do have a mod that lets me change my starter to any pokemon I want.)
  2. Just found out this existed last night
  3. @Lek I wouldn't mind doing Dragon again, if only to actually post stuff on it this time. Probably not right away, since I just finished it, but maybe in a few rounds!
  4. The first monotype (Bug) has officially started! Original Introduction Post: Creepy Crawly Chitinous Creatures - Bug-type Run Allowed non-Bug types: Flygon, Drapion, Gliscor
  5. New forms is closest, but what I really want is something like the way Wormadam works - the same pokemon can have slightly different stats, movesets, and secondary typings depending on where or how you evolve it. (Reborn kind of has this with Alolan Raichu, Exeggutor, and Marowak, but since there's not a way to pick which one of those you want in official pokemon games, I'm still saying Wormadam's the only real example we have.) This would probably work best with just entirely new pokemon, though. There might be a few existing ones it could work for (maybe Poliwrath's secondary type could be Fighting, Dark, or Steel depending on where it evolves, or something like that), but it would be a lot easier to just do it on new ones.
  6. I've been fishing for Horsea for probably over an hour, using a Pokemon with Frisk to see if any of them have a dragon scale so I can get a Kingdra at some point. So far, none of them had it. Was it removed in E17, and if so, is there anywhere else I can get one?
  7. Recently restarted a mono-Dragon-ish run I'd been doing before E17 (mono Dragon, but certain pokemon in the Dragon egg group or that have been used by Dragon-type gym leaders and champions in main series games are allowed too). Just got the Mystery Egg from the police station, and I'd appreciate if someone could change it to an Axew egg since I didn't manage to get that. Game.rxdata
  8. Mega Slaking Type: Normal Ability: Berserker Rage - This Pokemon will fly into a rage, able to attack without needing time to cool down. After three turns, however, it will become exhausted and fall into a deep sleep, unable to react. (Even when asleep, Snore and Sleep Talk won't have any effect. This three-turn counter does not reset if the Pokemon is switched out, although it will not increase on turns when the Pokemon is not on the field.) HP: 150 Atk: 160 -> 230 (+70) Def: 100 -> 80 (-20) SpA: 95 -> 125 (+30) SpD: 65 Spe: 100 -> 120 (+20) BST: 670 -> 770 (+100) Mega Slaking is by far the best physical attacker in the game, and with its ability allowing it to fire off multiple Giga Impacts in a row, it can easily sweep half of a team before having to take a nap. However, despite its high HP, its defenses are low enough that it likely can't afford to stay in long enough to wake up normally, its ability prevents it from being able to defend itself with Snore or Sleep Talk, and its Mega status means a Chesto Berry isn't an option, meaning it likely would have to either be healed by another party member with a move like Healing Wish or Aromatherapy, or written off entirely and not used for the rest of the battle. Sample Set: Slaking @ Slakingite Ability: Truant EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature -Giga Impact -Hammer Arm/Brick Break -Night Slash -Facade/Slack Off/Amnesia Maxed Attack and Speed allow Mega Slaking to sweep as fast and hard as possible before it falls asleep. Giga Impact is a must-have - it's Mega Slaking's strongest STAB attack, and its ability allows it to ignore the normal cooldown turn. Its first three moves give it enough coverage to hit everything for at least neutral damage, most of which is STAB or supereffective. Brick Break can be used instead of Hammer Arm to maintain Slaking's speed at the cost of dealing less damage. Its fourth moveslot is more flexible. Facade can be used to deal with burns, dealing almost as much damage as a Giga Impact. Alternatively, if attempting to wait out the sleep, Slack Off can be used to restore any damage dealt in the first three turns and Amnesia can be used to give it some more special bulk.
  9. Been a while since I've played most of the official games, but I used to have a couple traditions like that there. The main ones were that I wouldn't ever have one of my pokemon fight a pokemon of the same evolutionary line (I'd switch out or run away if they ended up in battle against each other) and that if there was a pokemon that looked like a specific pokeball, I had to catch it in that ball. (Which is how I ended up spending an hour or two in Emerald trying to catch Groudon in a Poke Ball and Kyogre in a Great Ball). In Reborn, I've developed a couple different ones. I always give my team nicknames that fit some coherent pattern, and with the exception of my most recent playthrough they're always units or scales of measurement - Fahrenheit, Newton, Mohs, Brix, etc. The other one is just EV training right before entering Agate; kind of more a strategy thing than a tradition, but I do it every time, so I think it counts.
  10. Alolan Raichu - evolve Pikachu on Azurine Island Larvesta - Mystery Egg Rockruff - breed Lycanroc (found in Teknite Cave) Grubbin - grass in Peridot Ward, post-Fly Not sure about Mareanie or Wimpod. I don't think the ACE Club is accessible yet.
  11. I'll take Honedge if that's okay. Want any specific pokemon for it?
  12. ID is MobiusFlip, same as my username here. PM whenever you're ready to make the trade. Thanks!
  13. Any left? Don't really have much in the way of shinies or perfect IV mons, but just ask for a specific mon and I'll see if I can get it
  14. Apparently online play isn't working for me on E17. Thanks for the offers, but I can't trade anything at the moment. Can't figure out how to delete a post outright, but online functionality works fine now. @Kixur, sent you a reply. @Zarc, I do want a Deino, but I'd prefer a Dark Material over just the mon itself (feels a little more legitimate that way). Anything you want for the others?
  15. Looking to get some Pokemon that are only available through limited events. Specifically Torchic, Snivy, Froakie, Gastly, Axew, and/or Larvesta. Also, anything holding a Dark Material would be great. I don't really have anything shiny or with great IVs, but if you want a specific species of Pokemon in return, just ask and I'll see if I have one.
  16. EDIT: Nevermind, I found the answer elsewhere on the forum. For anyone curious, the move you must use in battle is
  17. Where is the third floor anyways? I've looked around the academy for a while, but I don't see a way to a third floor anywhere.

  19. I'm trying to do an almost-mono-Dragon run, with as few edited/hacked/etc Pokemon as possible. (Obviously there would be some fairly significant problems with a true mono-Dragon run in Reborn, so I'm allowing myself some pokemon from the Dragon egg group, anything that becomes Dragon type when mega evolved, and some pokemon that have been used by Dragon-type gym leaders and Elite 4 in the main series games - namely, I can use the Aerodactyl, Charizard, Ampharos, Rhydon, Nidoking, Sceptile, Heliolisk, and Milotic lines along with anything Dragon-type). Anyways, because of those constraints, I'm not asking for any starters to be edited in. However, I would like to change what I got from the mystery egg at the Jasper police station. I'd appreciate if someone could replace the Elekid egg in my team with an Axew egg or a level 1 Axew, whichever is easiest. IVs and nature don't matter. Game.rxdata
  20. In Byxbysion Grotto, specifically in the Mr. Bigglesworth room, there are two visible items: a TM, and what I'm fairly sure is a Dawn Stone. The problem is, the Dawn Stone is blocked on all sides by rock formations and a mining rock, and I can't find any way to access it. How do I get the item?
